After looking at the reviews on here I'm quite shocked. Maybe not enough people are reviewing, or it's because my boyfriends family are frequent customers. Vasilios is always our go-to, you can't beat the prices. Best crunchy wings, best fries, the pasta portions are large and their rosé sauce is amazing. Fish and chips dinner is 2 large portions enough for 2 or 3 meals. Pizza is always perfect. For dietary reasons I ordered a cauliflower GF for the first time and I enjoyed it more than their regular pizza. The toppings were overloaded and the cauliflower crust is seasoned. The soup might be bagged but it's pretty good. They have everything for a picky eater. I try to order from new places but always end up with Vasilio's.....always worth the choice in the end. read more

Manager is scum. Ordered the pizza and wing special with well done wings at 10:48pm, got barely cooked wings at 11:55pm, called and told them I want new wings but before my pizza is cold. Called at 1:23am and manager tells me to wait because the driver was supposed to be there already. I tell him I don't want the wings anymore cuz it's been almost 3 hours and my pizza is cold. He tells me the only way to get a refund is to bring both orders of wings in myself. It was the middle of the night? I told him send his driver and I will give her the wings and she can bring them to him. He hangs up. Around 1:50am I call and manager tells the person on the phone to tell me bring both wings in in person to get a refund; it's almost 2 in the morning and I had only received the one order. If I had to bring them in I would've made their lobby a teriyaki catastrophe. Manager needs to choke on a chicken bone n quit his job. I have been a customer here for ten years and I will honestly never order again. My partner and I spent $50+ on pasta dishes and mozz sticks. Not only did I not receive the ravioli I ordered, both meals were absolutely inedible. On top of the pasta being disgusting, when we rang the store to see I could at least receive the correct dish or a refund, the manager (who I assume is the owner bc he's always here) was arrogant, dismissive and flat out rude. The first time we got pizza from this place it was fine and we liked it but two days later we ordered again and both pizzas arrived with all the toppings and cheese all on the side like someone was holding them sideways. Most of the pizza wasn't even cut properly and a third of the smaller one was all one piece. First, the positives: Delivery was on time, driver was friendly. The negatives: I ordered an eggplant calzone and a garden salad. Both were not worth the money. The salad was made with Romaine, which I like, but only the top green leaves, which I don't. The calzone was big but almost no filling. The eggplant was sliced so thin that it was almost invisible. Plus, what was there was breaded so there was even a smaller amount of eggplant. Basically, it was bread inside bread. Partly my fault in being unhappy because I did not read the reviews before hand. I have a friend who lives nearby, and we have been happy enough with the pizza that we have gotten there several times out of convenience. NEVER AGAIN! I have a few items stored in the freezer of my friend, who texted me a short while ago to say that he came home after a few days away to find that the power had gone off and on again while he was gone. He had no way to know the length of the outage. I called the pizza place to ask about the outage length and explain that I wanted to know whether I needed to throw out my food. The older man, who apparently is the owner, told me that he only would give me that information if I was from a government agency. The thing that really makes this odd is that I immediately called another nearby business. The woman who answered was very friendly and told me that the power had flickered once and very soon after was off for less than two minutes. She added that she did not even have time to ask customers to leave the store. Forgetting about the low possibility that I was an undercover health inspector coming up with a goofy cover story, the fact that the power outage was very short meant that the pizza-place owner had absolutely no cause for concern. read more

The calzones are very good. As far as the pizza, the crust was perfect, and the pizza tasted good, Maybe a little too oily in my opinion, but we did order the feta and spinach, perhaps that is how they make that one, but it was good. The issue I have is they did not cover most of the pizza with cheese and or toppings.. The cheese covered the middle of the pizza to the center. I thought maybe this was a delivery thing, but if you look at all the photos here on Yelp you will see it for yourself. I do not want 40% crust, the crust should only be about a half inch of the edge of the pizza, the rest of the pizza should be covered with the toppings. read more

If you're looking at this place chances are you're just looking for fried food. Bullet points followed by my true gripes in depth: - slower than they said - everything was fried as expected so I can't judge on quality, although it was all frozen so don't get your hopes up - got my order wrong, they're not equipped to handled someone telling them they're wrong, so it was up to me if I wanted to reprimand the staff (?) I'm not gonna drone one about it for longer than I waited, but... I asked for all drum wings. 8-pc only and fine. Waited 25 min longer, it wasn't right, called, and the dumb idiot working the phones had to get a manager who asked if I wanted (said dumb idiot) to come back out and fix it, in a condescending (typical) Rhode Island attitude. I'm very disappointed to say I used to order from here about 4x's a month & no longer choose to do business here after a bad incident. I ordered thru the phone w/a girl and gave her my card number thru the phone for the order. Delivery comes & says the order was processed to be paid for by cash. The girl charged my damn card & put me down as paying cash which caused the poor delivery guy to have to call his boss & stand at my door for about 15mins to sort this out. We called the boss thru my phone & had him on speaker. I took a screenshot of my online bank statement to show the girl charged my card & the boss proceeds to question if I paid & to tell him the statement date & time as if I am trying to pull one over on him. Delivery guy proceeds to tell him I have plenty funds in my accounts to pay for the order. Their food is good & we used to order several times a week. I take my business elsewhere now. Not management's fault but this is the 2nd issue I've had w/mistakes made by the same exact girl on the phone. Charging someone's card is a huge mistake when it comes to money and finances. I've read many of the review of Vasilios and I'm confused. Because the Vasiolios I've been ordering from has been nothing like what some have described here. I'm a doctor and from time to time I will pick up a locum shift at some of the larger hospitals in the state as I normally work in Boston. We have ordered many times from Vasilios and each time we have enjoyed them. Some night after coming home from work (which can be well after midnight) I will order my food on the drive home and when I get home they're usually delivering a few minutes after that. The food has always been good, the service has always been good. I've never had anybody say anything snide, or make fun of other customers. In fact, we've spoken and had a few laughs. Food has always been hot, prices have always been reasonable, and the people there have always been friendly. I'm going to keep giving Vasilios my business as they haven't failed me, or done anything which would make me reconsider. Plus, the idea of getting some decent "Italian" food at some ungodly hour makes it even better and enjoyable for me. read more

It's supposed to have feta and artichoke, but only had our added-on banana peppers. So upset to have waited over the quoted time for this. Updating to add that I just ordered calamari and jalapeño poppers today and was given ketchup instead of marinara or cocktail sauce. $10 calamari with ketchup, what the hell??
