Lots and lots of chocolate and snacks (gummies, candies, biscuits, cookies, etc.), dried pasta, sauces, soup mixes, and so much more. Definitely a lot to look and and the variety is top notch with lots that are difficult to find elsewhere if you're not specifically at a European market. While checking out, I was eyeballing some of the chocolates that they had at the counter and the gentleman working was super nice enough to give my boyfriend and I some samples. Super friendly, welcoming, and giving the best grandpa vibes ever. I got some tea biscuits of various sizes and some really fun looking Garfield hazelnut wafer cookies and my boyfriend got himself some pasta and dried soups. Definitely will stop by again the next time I'm in the area.

Some go to staples that you'll find in Balkan households are vegeta - a universal seasoning for soups, meats and most dishes, chicken noodle soup packets with said vegeta seasoning (so flavorful, hands down better than any chicken soup you've tried), ajvar (mild to spicy roasted vegetable spread), smoked meats and frozen cevapi to name a few. You'll find tons of candies, cookies, sweats and treats. Keep in mind everything is imported so check dates and remember dates are going to be day first month second. Nelle gives friendly service, he is always so welcoming and happy to see you.

This place has been a San Jose staple for years and has been my go-to main supermarket for as long as I can remember. The selection covers everything you could possibly need, from international products to everyday household essentials all under one roof, the kind of variety that makes any other grocery store feel incomplete. What keeps me coming back just as much as the products is the staff. Many of them have been there for years, always friendly, always consistent, always making you feel genuinely welcomed. That kind of familiarity and warmth is something you just cannot put a price on. You come in for groceries and leave feeling like you just visited old friends. This Food Bazaar is a true San Jose international community treasure and deserves every bit of loyalty it has earned over the years. Highly recommend making it your regular stop, you won't regret it

They have amazing selection of spices, meats, breads, produce and more. The shelves are neatly organized. I love the fresh pita bread and lavash that they sell. I found my favorite brand of grape leaves. I also found the pomegranate syrup I needed and the orange blossom water for my Basbousa. They had a nice selection of fillo dough. My favorite brand is the Apollo fillo dough. I got a few boxes of that for my Armenian Paklava. And I couldn't leave without getting some fresh bread. I talked with Eddie, the owner, for a bit. He's so kind and if there's something you can't find, he'll help you get it. It's always a pleasure shopping here. They have the best international food items and excellent customer service. I highly recommend checking it out.

I've been driving by here for more years than I want to admit, and finally went in and was surprised and delighted by all the specialty foods and astounding selection that they offer. I think to really appreciate their amazing products, I would need some sort of docent to guide me through the store. It is so full of foods from eastern Europe, and even Middle Eastern foods, that I either barely recognize or had no idea existed. The variety is astounding. I'm so glad to have an option like this so close to home.

You can find a very nice selection of goods from various countries here. Candies, nuts, pickles, spreads, frozen dumplings, butter, condiments, wine, sausages and other cured meats, cheese, baked goods, ice cream bars, a small selection of produce, canned goods and much, much more. We had just had lunch so we purchased a small cheesecake flavored ice cream bar to share and some Lebanese grilled olives to take home for later. We are for sure coming back for some frozen dumplings next time we're in the mood... they had a huge selection. Fun!

Their poke plates are one of the best not just in the South Bay, but one of the best throughout the Bay Area. Not only are you able to choose from shoyu or spicy seasoning, you're also able to do a combination of tuna and tako as well (tako is octopus). I love the ambiance everytime I come -- it's like a fresh breath away from home, and especially from work, and it just feels like COMMUNITY everytime I'm here. My personal favorite is the shoyu tuna -- which their tuna is caught FRESH and does not disappoint. I like especially when they add the furikake flakes onto the rice, because not only does it give such a rich taste to it, but also, it enhances the shoyu sauce coming directly from the I believe this market used to be open to the public (and sold poke from inside physically), but since the pandemic, they've only been functioning in take-out mode. At times, especially approaching lunch-time, this place CAN get very crowded and busy, so it's best to order ahead using the Toast app, or to go early to secure your plate of poke.

They had two kiosks and one cashier taking orders, so the process still moved along at a decent pace despite the crowd. At first glance, the regular portion didn't seem like that much food, but it ended up being surprisingly filling. I added an avocado on my own, which definitely made it even more substantial, and I still couldn't finish everything in one sitting. Ended up saving the rest for later. This is one of those affordable poke spots that's been around forever, and I can see why it's lasted. It's solid, reliable, and satisfying without breaking the bank. I ordered tuna with spicy mayo, so it was a little hard to judge the freshness of the fish underneath all the sauce, but overall it tasted good and hit the spot.
