On our way home we were looking for a place to stop and have dessert and stumbled across this place. We pulled up and there was no one in line so we placed our order. A s'mores crepe with caramel sauce and a strawberries and cream waffle with chocolate sauce. In less than 10 minutes we had yummy dessert in our car. The crepe was full of marshmallows and chocolate. I don't think there were and graham crackers in the crepe just on the outside but I'm really not positive. It was kind of rich and really yummy. The strawberry and cream waffle was also yummy. There were enough strawberries and cream to have in every bite with the waffle and chocolate. They had a garbage can there do we disposed of our take out containers there. The only thing I would suggest is maybe have some wet naps or wipes that you can clean yourself or kids up with. Other than that PERFECTION. Hopefully we will have enough time to come back before we leave on Monday.

The squash with it is fresh! I loved the creamy texture of the risotto. I haven't had halibut in many years! I loved the 3 dips with the house-made potato crisps. My favorite dip was the smoked steelhead. The crisps are very crunchy! Baked Feta Cheese w/ Honey Drizzle: The scone like pastries are really good! Super fluffy texture. Add the feta on top then an olive on the cheese, and take a bite! The warm pastry with the creamy sweet honey feta cheese and savory olive blends so well together. It's an amazing sharable appetizer and I highly recommend it. Apple Pie with Vanilla Ice Cream: The rich flavors of the pie are delicious! The apples are cooked perfectly and not too crunchy or mushy. The cinnamon isn't over powering the whole pie, but enough to know that it's there. My friend loves apple pie and rated it a 10 out of 10! The vanilla ice cream tasted good, but if you have ice cream outside on the patio be sure to eat it before it melts. It was 98 degrees. The hostess at the front when I walked in is so welcoming! The food was served at a good pace. Definitely a place worth visiting.

The service was really good, greeted immediately, they found our reservation, got to our table, our server was at our table very shortly thereafter. The place was not that busy when we got there, but it definitely picked up with some really large groups dropping in. Friday night at the river! We all chose something different on the menu from the burger, the fish and chips and one of the salads. Everything was prepared very well, and we really enjoyed it. I've got to say that my fish from the fish and chips was one of the best I've had in a long time. Tartar sauce was spot on! We would definitely go back, and we will.

And somehow, even after a 4-hour drive, it still tastes just as amazing! It's one of the best options if you're trying to stay lower carb (okay... lower-ish carbs), no sugar, and especially if you deal with hypoglycemia. This dish just gets it. Now about the building--if you've been around for a while, you probably remember when it was Heidi Haus on Court Street. I went in there many times, and it was such a sweet, charming place. Honestly, it feels like the perfect spot for Magill's now. The character of the building really adds to the whole experience. The only thing I'd love to see improved is the service. The ladies who work there clearly have a lot of experience, but sometimes the interaction can feel a bit routine or lacking warmth. A little more friendliness and engagement would really take the experience to the next level and match how great the food is. And I mean... my poor mom ordered an orange juice and it showed up not even cold. That's one of those small details that really shouldn't be missed. Thank you, Magill's, for always hitting the mark with the food!

I love the flavor a ton! The sausage in it is delicious! Mac & Cheese: Best Mac & Cheese I've had in the Tri-Cities so far! Not the creamiest, but the flavor really hits the tastebuds way more! Collard Greens: The spice hits you right away when you take a bite. It's not a slow build up like most spicy food. It wasn't overpowering spicy, but seasoned just right! Fried Okra: The fried breading on the okra is seasoned great! Best okra I've ever had so far! Coleslaw: The coleslaw was above average. My 3rd favorite so far in the Tri-Cities. I grew up in the South and was very happy to see Ann's specialized in Southern / Cajun / Creole food. Several return customers were inside raving about how great the food is here. They are open for lunch between 11am -2pm, but the amount of each entree will definitely keep you full through dinner! I ordered the Cajun-fried catfish po'boy with a perfectly crisped batter outside, tender fish inside, and a remoulade that tasted straight from NOLA! Just the right level of spice! It was so large I had to take half home - but partly because I also ordered the hush puppies and a side of the red beans and rice - both of which are Southern favorites. The hush puppies were some of the best I have had with a deep-fried cornmeal crust and soft inside with a sprinkle of jalapeños. The red beans and rice were spicy, and so delicious that I spent a few hours that evening finding a good recipe to make it at home - though highly doubtful it will measure up to Ann's! (Looking forward to getting a large bowl of the red beans and rice with hush puppies and cornbread from here for a great winter meal -yum!!) Service was very quick and friendly and the seating was spacious with a great view of the planes at the airport. Ann's is a total gem in the Tri-cities and so glad I tried it!! I will definitely be making many return trips here to try their other entrees, sides and desserts.
