She went above and beyond for us during our first anniversary dinner back after getting married. For a high quality meal I also really feel like the prices are great! You could go to Applebees and pay $16 for a basic and cheap pasta or come here and get a homemade, fresh, authentic pasta dish with quality proteins for like $5-$7 more plus complimentary bread? I went here over the weekend and I loved it! Its such a cute place, I sat inside but they had a nice outdoor area! For an app the Caprese Salad was delicious and for my main course I got the Carbonara Pasta, which was amazing. Definitely my favorite Carbonara in Newtown! Their Cannolis are also to die for, so fresh! My waitress, Alyssa, was great. She was on top of everything and a sweet girl, I am glad she was my server. First off I wanna say this place is absolutely beautiful and has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our server amazing and friendly. The arancini on special was absolutely perfect and highly recommend getting it if you have the chance. For entree's we got the pasta carbonara and chicken parm. The carbonara was very good and they give you a very large portion which is quite filling. The chicken parm unfortunately was a big let down, something about it just tasted off and the chicken had a weird texture that almost made it inedible. I usually take pictures of all my food but I didn't this time because we dug right in!!!! I did manage to take a picture of my incredible dessert before making it disappear!! From appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts - the menu transports you to Italy (no passports required). We ordered the long hot appetizer- peppers cooked perfectly! Not overly spicy just had a nice kick. The veal dish my fiancé had was well cooked, seasoned, melted in your mouth good! The wine sauce so good I had to keep him from picking up the plate to drink it. My pescatore with Linguini in Fra Diavalo sauce was the best I've had - and I order this dish, (or whatever the other restaurant wants to be this dish) ALL over Bucks County and Philadelphia! My wife chose this place for her birthday dinner . We arrived after seven and the place must be good because it was very busy. We opted to sit outside, which is a really beautiful ambience. We had the cheese and meat board for appetizer and fried calamari as well. Food is absolutely delicious with a nice menu. Everyone was very pleased with her meal, it is a BYOB which was fine. i'm so happy i came here for dinner today!!! super yummy food, nice ambiance, and super kind, attentive worker. the only con would be that the door to their backyard patio is always open, and there were small flies always trying to bother me :( the food: calamari: !!!! so fresh and lightly LIGHTLY battered. there is nothing worse than a thick battered calamari! but this one is super light, fried in fresh oil, and i also loved their bits of fried jalapeño that add flavor. gnocchi: please try this. the texture is amazing and the taste is great. there's two kinds of gnocchi: potato filled pasta, and potato-ey pasta. i like the first and this one tasted like that! seafood: wowww this plate is GIANT and theres soooo much seafood in here from crab to mussels to clams and calamari! we got the spicy red sauce, super yum! broccoli: i honestly don't like broccoli but this was okay! but still not a fan of broccoli read more

We found this JEM on the new program on HBOMAX "Family Restaurant" and it was BETTER than we ever expected. It is worth the trip from anywhere. Out to a birthday dinner, wanted a BYOB to keep prices down due to this dam inflation. Very cute place with indoor and outdoor seating. Decorated like an old Italy town. Waitress Nancy is very nice and funny. Started off with the calamari, the batter was light and fresh with excellent sauce. Very good appetizer. Main course was Farfelle which had a ton of salmon in it, the cream wine sauce was excellent. My GF had veal which was also very good. I love the food here. The every veal, chicken and fish dish is worth having. Especially the Bronzino. The salads are fresh and interesting. The problem I have is with reservations and getting a table. Our party of 6 had reservations at 6:30. After 30 minutes of watching several parties be welcomed like old friends and seated, I asked the host a second time "how's are table coming?" Finally after a 45 min wait, we were seated in the tent area that was just set for 2 tables. Saturday was cold. When the heater cycled off your lap froze. It was hard for the servers to manage our and the other remote table. (Our bronzino wasn't presented whole, prior to filleting. I guess I'm glad because the 2 trips would have made it cold.) Drove 30 min in rain to meet friends. Was excited to try this place. Packed at 5pm, good omen? Tables were so close you could share an app with your neighbor and not get up to stab a taste. I was bumped by the staff walking by no less than 2 dozen times (only one excuse me) Rigatoni vodka was excellent Veal Valdostana ordered OVER pasta, was informed that would be a six dollar up charge??? (Really?) ok that's the way I wanted it. Dish came out lukewarm, cheese was not even melted that's how not hot it was AND my $6 upcharge pasta was in a separate bowl with no sauce. (You lost me here) Both the veal and chicken dishes had a burnt oil taste. Dessert was ok The wine and company saved the evening Staff needs some work also some were just rude. Went here with a group of 8. Incredible amazing dishes! The rice balls and the long hots are must have appetizers. The show stopper for me was the Sacchetti pasta special. We saw Vecchia Osteria on TV with Andrew Zimmer and wanted to try it. It surpassed our expectations. We mentioned to the host we had come from Central Jersey because of the show. We later learned it was Pasquale, one of the owners. He sent an antipasto over, 2 glasses of wine and dessert. Our meal was outstanding and the service and hospitality was outstanding.
