    Chickpea Chole wrap
    Karolina K.

We were in the area so I was curious about this vegan place. It's a small business in the strip mall but I really liked the interior which was designed like an old school diner. We had some issues deciding what to get and the girl at the counter wasn't much help. She was very nice but couldn't give us any recommendation on the food. She said it depends what you want and basically whatever we chose it will be good. Not much help. W ended up getting Crunchy Birds Nest Burger with masala fries, two Samosas and a wrap with Chickpea Chole and vegan cheese. We shared all between us. The burger was ok, I liked the chrunchy veggie patty but the bun tasted cheap and stale and there weren't many other toppings there except sauce and some Lettuce. I ended up throwing away some of the bun and just ate the veggie patty. Masala fries were only slightly spiced, we were expecting much more flavor considering other reviews. Samosas were good, hot and crunchy, would say the best part of the meal. The wrap was good but the chole definetly had a very Americanized taste, not what I'm used to in other Indian places. Heat level on all items also low. I would say for a Indian owned place the food was underseasoned and slightly lacking the spice I want from this type of food. I love, love, love Indian food and that was not something that gave me much satisfaction. The staff was very nice, they did check on us few times and I feel a little sorry for not giving them more stars but unfortunately the food deserved only 3 stars. Also, went to the bathroom to wash my hands and there were no lights so I had to keep the door open and the bathroom was dirty.

We had always wanted to try this place for Indian food. They have a good variety and very reasonable prices. We went there a late when they were about to close but she was very nice to let us take our own time to order and finish our meal. Paneer Bowl was good and so was the Jalapeño popper. Its a small place but well kept. I had tasted their food in catered events from our Non- profit organization where they had catered with Indian food that was outside what is on their restaurant Menu and it was delicious! They are located in Ford road right in the hustle and bustle of Canton.

    Falafel Burger, fries

We enjoyed the food. The sandwich, the wrap, the fries.the service was also good. We ordered falafel sandwich, fries, and chickn wrap.

It's so bad that how bad the food was. We ordered 4 burgers and two raps. Each every item we ordered as an issue.. They take for ever, my order took nearly an hour. The staff inside was literally fighting. Mishaps in orders. masks, they were all wearing neck masks, yes, not covering the nose and the mouth.. -- reply to owners comment-- Dear owner, I understand you try your best, thanks for taking time to reply to me. I am not confusing two visits.. I have uploaded pictures two different times from two different visits. The last three pictures are current.. For fact the female employee that night was not wearing mask.. and yelling to another guy for sending out a wrong order or something.. Leaving a bad review does not get me anything.. being a vegetarian We use to love your place.. now you lost one customer.. thanks.

I can't say enough good things about this place! We placed another carry out order online, and upon arrival found 2 giant bags of food awaiting our arrival. We ordered the usual suspects: samosas, masala fries, cauliflower wings and chik n wings, Chole bowl, impossible burger and the OMG chik n burger. Everything was fabulous. I was blown away by the OmG burger. It tasted like the most delicious fried chicken sandwich. We will return to try more items. Next on my list: mean green pea burger and the bird's nest burger.

I've been meaning to write a review for this place after 2 trips in the past, but I never got around to it until now. I think after those visits I can give a more accurate assessment of my experiences, because they were quite different each time. Now I'm just going to get one thing out of the way before anything else, and that's the food is good. It's not amazing, it's not great, it's just simply good. It's kind of like if vegetarian Indian food was Americanized to appeal to a broader customer base. It's not quite Indian, but you can tell based on the owners and the menu that it's inspired by it. I really liked their masala fries and cauliflower wings, but everything else from the rice dishes, to the paneer wrap and the falafel salad were so and so. The inside of the restaurant was whimsical and quite inviting, if only a little bit tacky. On my first visit the staff were very polite and one of the gentlemen (who I'm going to assume was the owner) was very enthusiastic and actually gave me my fries free because my food took a while to get ready which was not necessary on his part. If it was just for that one trip I would say this place gets a 4/5, but it was on my second trip that things kind of soured my impression of this restaurant. I had returned with a coupon that I found on an app for local deals. When I presented it to the person who was taking my order, he seemed very confused. I guess he didn't understand that his restaurant accepts coupons because I showed it to him and it was crystal clear. He even tried to tell me that the coupon expired even though it didn't expire until the following day. After getting through that bit of awkwardness, he finally took my order with a mildly grumpy look on his face and then when I put money in the tip jar he stuck his hand in it and put it in his pocket right in front of me. I'm not sure if that tip jar was just for him or to be shared with other employees, but I was very much turned off by his attitude and it was annoying enough that I don't want to come back here more often. Canton is full of great Indian food and this restaurant just doesn't cut it despite the good that does exist here

First and foremost, THIS IS NOT A REAL INDIAN RESTAURANT!! I repeat THIS IS NOT A REAL INDIAN RESTAURANT!!! I wish I would've listen to my nana and ate the Orange. It was that bad.. Butter Chik'N: 2/10. Store bought TV Dinner "chick'n masala" has more favor than this dish. I never had a salad with no taste. Buffalo Chik'N Nuggets: 7/10. Taste like orange chicken. Far from Buffalo but OKAY!! Lol it's good but too wet for me Orange Chik'N: 3/10. BARELY! Lol No sauce. My mother tried to eat most of it but ok. Mint Lemonade: 10/10. SUPER GOOD Overall, if you're dying of hunger, just die because this isn't it. If you're dying of thirst, stop in and get you a lemonade. TIP: Any restaurant that hides their health department grade, you should be very careful. Those are true signs lol

Finally, a restaurant with delicious vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free delicious food. The dine in environment is similar to that of a 50's diner. We were greeted immediately upon entry and offered descriptions and recommendations of food offerings. I would add a pictures of the food ordered but we cleared our plates already. Food Ordered: Vegan Masala Fries, Vegan Quesadilla, Vegan Samosas **All so good**

    Can't wait to try

Great customer service. Came around 4pm on a Friday. Ordered the cajun black bean burger and the jackfruit sandwich. Both were really distinctly delicious. I definitely see myself coming here often. And I love how this is a vegetarian/ vegan comfort food place. #NoMeat I'm always looking for healthy veggie flavorful alternatives when I don't feel like cooking towards the end of a work week. This will definitely be on my go-to list.

The ingredients were fresh ... melted smoked Gouda, (shredded) lettuce, tomato and pickled peppers. Not a fan of shredded lettuce. I prefer a couple of leaves of chilled crisp lettuce. The tomato was a winter tomato and did not add any acidity. The bun was properly toasted a beautiful golden brown. The onion rings ... sigh. Tasty and not a grease farm ... and while fried perfectly, they arrived mostly a giant lump of stuck together. They were served hot and on a separate plate a few minutes after the burger arrived. I decided to splurge and try a peanut butter shake. Terrific ice cream ... no HFCS aftertaste. Great peanut butter flavor. Two disappointments: - Value. $8 for the size ... insufficient value. - I like my milkshakes to be blended a bit coarse; not blended textureless, soft-serve smooth. You've been warned. My wife ordered the bison burger, well done. It was served precisely as ordered. She was happy. The portion of sweet potato fries was large, properly fried and served hot. Ambiance ... disturbed by one VERY LOUD woman engaged in a running dialog with the bartender. They seemed to know each other. Otherwise; it is clean, organized and has a good neighborhood bar vibe. Will I return? Yes.

I motioned my wife to enter as she has a hard time with stairs and was willing to wait until 10 AM, but came at my bidding. My wife order the Carne Asada fries and a fountain Coke. She love the fries. I ordered a double cheeseburger slider with bacon ( about $5 ) with grilled onions as standard. The bacon was PERFECT!! Chewy, but fully done; no white fat but opaque fully cooked! Awesome burger. 9 out of 10. I also ordered a raspberry shake. It was good ( 6 out of 10 ) and shared it with my wife. Maybe I am spoiled by super sweet chocolate shakes from White Castle. A pricey over $6. Perhaps skip this one or try a malt. I also ordered Chili Cheese Fries. Bless her heart, Ray cooked mine to perfection, well done fries, melted real sliced American cheese, and she put my chili in a side bowl as requested so I could dip the cheese covered ones on the chili ( I stirred in their hot sauce) and the few uncovered fries, dipped into my raspberry shake. Amazingly delicious. 10 out of 10 for each item: crinkle cut fries, coney beef chili ( NO BEANS!!! ) , and great cheese. Chili should NEVER HAVE BEANS!!! Finally I split a deep fried churro un-filled with cinnamon sugar. 7 out of 10. We took most of that home and I ate some during this review. One silly tiny note. The one unisex bathroom ( the restaurant only has 21 stool seats ) had only one working light bulb in the fixture out of 2 or 3. It was very dim like a seedy bar. I told Ray so hopefully it gets fixed soon. If that last bulb goes in there, I hope whoever is in there has their cellphone flashlight working. Finally the overall vibe is stainless steel lunch counter ( 1950's? ) with a deep kitchen. Seven short stools facing the street, Nine facing the kitchen and a very small tall table with Five matching tall stools. That lone table could be crowded with two customers food, but five? Better only have a beverage and one item, and that would be elbow to elbow. Shout out to Detroit Food Review for his October 3, 2025 review for here. That is how we found it. They do have a drive through if you do not want to climb the three stairs or use the ramp or if the restaurant is full inside.

The confirmation text didn't come through until we were already inside, which might be bad reception, but it almost cost us the table. Then they sat us right across from the back kitchen entrance. Banging, yelling, and an open doorway into the kitchen. Off-putting, especially with better seating clearly open. The food keeps the rating up. I did not expect a wings place, but the smoked wings were my favorite, right amount of crispy with good smoke. The sauce list is long and I couldn't pick a favorite. The ranch tasted house-made and it was amazing. The chikin soho was the other standout. Honey ginger glaze, chili dijon slaw, and pickles that all work together. Misses: the brisket nachos needed fresh guac and actual brisket, since there was barely any. The 6 cheese mac was fine but not worth ordering again. Prices were right for what it is, a bistro concept. It's in Wayne, which surprised me since I didn't know spots like this existed out here. Wide enough menu that I'll be back. Next time I'm speaking up about the seating.
