The 3 star yelp rating on this bakery is Acurate. I wanted to come in and give a 5 star but I just couldn't shed how frustrating it was that the service is so slow. They're super friendly but they take forever to help you. I walked in there were 2 people in line in front of me and 3 girls putting baked goods away while one sat on the cashier, if there's a line there should have been 3 girls helping customers and 1 on the cashier. Another thing that frustrated me was that they take forever to had over the box I don't why it took them so long to open the box and put in the bread/donuts. I came in at around noon thinking I'd receive garbage customer service from reading reviews and comments on IG, but that wasn't the case at all. Was I greeted when I got in? No, but they were busy and the entrance is far from where the line for service begins. I needed to walk around the cases to see what I wanted and then I stood in line to have one of the workers grab the items I wanted. The place is huge for a bakery, brightly lit and seemed clean. Everywhere you look you find of slices of dessert and full decorated cakes- idk how fresh each item is tho. I asked the woman helping me about what her favorite items were so I took her word and got a gansito concha and the mango tres leches cinnamon bun. Having mango, a cinnamon bun and tres leches in one item seemed a bit much but it was ok. I prob should have gone with the regular one without mango and avoided additional carbs. I never liked conchas bc I always felt I ate old, dry ones from the market, but this one was filled and therefore more moist. I took two bites but still only got the edge of the concha... I prob need to cut it in half and eat the middle to get the full experience. I think I also got a strawberry tres leches cup and some kind of cheesecake. Four items came out to $17.30 which I felt was very reasonable since some other bakery charged me 7 dollars each for mid cookies.
