This is a double review. First, I highly recommend this form of traveling to remote destinations…read more Campervans / RV's are so convenient and allows such flexibility while traveling. Campervans are easy to drive and can fit into any normal-sized parking space. Regarding this company, they provided incredible customer service and a clean, comfortable Campervan. The fold out bed was easy to assemble and the van included a sink, small fridge and storage spaces. Our van was waiting for us when we arrived. We had the option of choosing different bundles: blanket, kitchen items, tent, chairs, basically anything that enhances your outdoor experience. They even had a donation locker where you could take items left by other travelers. We loaded up and we're off on our adventure to Death Valley. We found that this company has several locations in the US, and they will allow for one way travel between their locations. We are now seriously considering planning a cross country trip!

It was a fun challenge to hit all five NPs, but we loved every minute. Our van, Skyfire, while older, had an easily convertible bed, a sink, a stove and a refrigerator. We didn't use the stove, but everything else was useful for our trip. We will probably upgrade to a newer model next time but overall were very pleased with our experience. Adventure is out there!

Rented a RV 21 months ago B-WAC-2253177. The trip an RV was a disaster, but I never wrote a review…read moreabout it because Road Bear was going to do the right thing and give us a redo trip. Just called today to set up our trip and how lucky for me they "updated" there system and any old reservation from 2023 and back are no longer in the system. The trip started fine until we reached the RV park at 12am. No water hoses, sewage lines or TV cable for full hook ups, NOTHING. Next the slide pop out had trouble opening. Next the fridge stopped working and a strong smell of ammonia was coming from it, next the CO2 alarm started going off and never shut off. The alarm was so loud (and rightfully) so the RV park made us leave. We then had to rent a hotel for the duration of our trip. The 1800 roadside service number I called had me on hold for over a hour with finally no one to service us. This all sounds like the worst experience right? Yes, but I was told my account would be noted and a redo trip was appropriate. I didn't want my money back. I wanted exactly what they said they would do. Family trips are not easy and not something we can do every year, but 21 months later and a baby later we decided to have another go at RV'ing. I've rented before from Road Bear and every time we had a issue they solved it, but now with "The new system" I'm screwed? So when you rent from them babysit and double check their work, make sure everything is working and all equipment is ready and if you have any issues just know they will fight you now tooth and nail on their screw up thanks to the "new system". I was told by someone I was clearly bothering that an upper management person would reach out to tell me in a higher paid voice I'm SOL.

The staff was so helpful that I forgot to say anything about the HI5 Camper…read more The Hi5 camper has enough space to sleep 3 adults. The table slide-out can fit 2 average-size adults close together, and there is room for one more, maybe two on top. The camper came with a stove, sink & 2 small fridges. Since I was by myself, I did not need to turn on the A/C at night. The camper has enough space to sit 4 comfortably during the drive and probably more. I forgot to take pictures of inside the camper.

Id recommend avoiding this place…read more Rented a Kuga Campervan for Burning Man from here. The vehicle was provided with issues, including a leaking tire (discovered within the first two hours of driving in Vegas), a faulty stovetop and non-stop 'service tire' warnings which we were told to ignore (which made the leaking tire more difficult to diagnose and dangerous imo). Were provided a fault PSI gauge so we had to buy our own. We were also told not to concern ourselves with trying too hard to clean the vehicle for drop-off as that is covered. We asked about precautions like taping windows and such that we heard about online, and were plainly told that the dust will likely just get in anyways and its not a concern. When we dropped off the vehicle after a light cleaning, we were told by a confrontational manager (casting doubting & swearing) that we would have to pay a cleaning fee. We were forced to pay on the spot (manager didn't mentioning we could have actually still left at the time to clean the vehicle ourselves - customer support said he should have given that option). Went back and forth with customer support and they would not refund the fee despite not only being told the dust is fine but also the fact that we faced other issues with the vehicle. I found their staff lacked knowledge and was unnecessarily confrontational. I found their customer support to be unsympathetic and not particularly concerned about what a paying customers experience is worth. Otherwise they would have acknowledged the frustrating and misleading situation and refunded the cleaning fee. The only solution they offered was a discount if we rented there again - a useless suggestion because it assumes we would want to spend more money here. Bottom line: take your $$ to another business that has more respectful staff that doesn't mislead you, provides you with a properly tuned vehicle and has customer support that actually values your experience and will offer reasonable solutions.
