Oh, Veggie Village, it's been too long!! I have been pescatarian for over 2 1/2 years now and I have not come back to this restaurant since eight years ago. Why, I have no idea, but I finally came today to order takeout, and I ordered the lettuce wraps, the salt and pepper, shrimp, and the general tso chicken. The food was incredibly delicious! Where have I been!? My husband and I were very happy and will make sure we come back more often. They offer vegetarian and vegan options which is a huge plus.

Ambience matches the energy of the food, great service

The environment matches the high energy of the food. I had the springs rolls they were awesome, vegan chicken, lemon grass rice, mushrooms and a side of Bok Choi. It was delicious, the sauces were complimentary, yum! and I feel great after eating! Service was so kind and quick!

Wonderful restaurant with delicious fresh vegan dishes and excellent prices! I had the Yu-Xiang eggplant and tofu entree and the hot and sour soup. Such generous portions and both so delicious! I would have loved both of them to be more spicy, but otherwise they were prepared perfectly. My server was super nice and I enjoyed talking with her. Wish they had a location in the east valley!

A consistent fav of mine! When the other veggie village location closed, I was happy to find this one still open! This place doesn't lean on heavy fake meats or oily sauces. They can be spice heavy but they're happy to cut it down if you request. Everything tastes bright, crisp, and lively. The fresh Vietnamese roll is a wonderful combo inside as it has greens so fresh they snap, and the peanut dressing although not gluten free is savory and packed with flavor. Always leave feeling energized and full in my stomach and heart every time instead of weighed down -- which can be rare after eating out. My favorite is the vegan Singapore fried rice noodle and my partner loves the vegan sesame chicken. I always ask for a full glass of water at the table because their food makes me drink water for some reason perhaps due to more spice than I'm used to. Super friendly, sweet and knowledgeable women servers. Highly recommend! 071025

I am far from a vegetarian and we tried this place tonight, the service was impeccable and the food was amazing!!!! It surprised me and I will be back! I want to try all the things. I had the salt and pepper shrimp. My wife had the salt and pepper eggplant and added the sweet and spicy sauce on the side (do that!). We had the jap chae (so good) and my coworker go the general tsos chicken. Everything was flavorful and wonderful.

One of my favorite restaurants! Great food and friendly service. The Tom Yum Tofu is my favorite, I crave it all of the time. Also love the Hawaiian Fried Rice. My mom got an eggplant tofu dish, I can't remember the name but it was also very good. We split hot raspberry tea which was also great!

My goodness! Now... I saw the photos and said this looks just like the food I used to eat when I ate meat... let me see how good it is. First of all, everything on the menu sounds delicious. I got the General Tso Chicken and that first bite... oh my. It had a good crunch on it and then went tender and the flavor... ON POINT! If I was staying in AZ longer, I would have gone back and tried all the things. The drinks are also delicious. I grabbed a pink passion. Since I dined in, I had to control my food dancing but trust me when I say you need to visit this spot. Seems like they do a lot of to-go orders but sitting inside is peaceful. When I came in I was greeted and seated instantly. The staff was very attentive. I also appreciated the level of care around cleanliness. This will be a stop every time I'm in town. Any wait to bring a travel buddy with me.

Tofu Cajun pho lovely flavors very natural and calming during the cold weather some hot jasmine tea on the side very blended taste this place feels very soothing and has calming music very good place 10/10 recommend

4.5 Stars Veggie Village is the best collective of vegetarian or vegan option when you're looking for Asian food in the Phoenix area. Some options are also available in gluten free. They are very observant on how to prepare your meal. They have my trust when I place my order at Veggie Village. The best thing besides the food is the great service! The only bad thing I can say about Veggie Village is the parking lot situation.

    70. Vegan Beef & Broccoli, but modified with mushrooms instead of carrots.

Simply excellent, healthy, fresh, and great tasting food! The fact that's also cruelty-free is just icing on the cake. Only negative is that it sometimes gets a hair crowded because they're so busy (especially on weekends), but it's worth the visit. Highly recommended:-)

This is my first time at Veggie Village. It's around the corner from my job and I was told the food was really good, so I decided to try it. On Wednesdays they have a special all noodle and fried rice 20% off. I got the protein noodles a little on the spicy side. It was amazing with soybean shrimp, beef, peppers, mushrooms and the spice was perfect! This will be my new spot to try different meals on Wednesdays.

I just love Veggie Village's concept of creative, aromatic & delicious Asian Plant Based food. I have my go-to favorites: *Crispy Salt & Pepper Fish *Combo Lo Mien *Dumplings *Freshly made Cucumber-Mint Lemonade I promised myself the next time I would expand my palate & try something else. You can not beat the prices for the portion & each time I order from here whether Take Out or Delivery, I'm never disappointed. Highlighting the customer service - if you have a question about your order, a friendly voice from the restaurant eagerly assists.

Great food!! Only downside is, and it's a downside: please crank the AC down some, it's not so great eating dinner when it's 80 degrees inside, so show me where the Nest thermostat I'd and let me have at it. The hot and sour soup is very good. Wish the iced tea came unsweetened also.

We stopped in for a late lunch around 3 p.m. and were the only customers in the restaurant for most of the meal. It took quite a while to be acknowledged, get menus, and place our order. The food itself was delicious, but our basket of chips was mostly tiny broken pieces that were difficult to dip in the salsa. Overall, the service overshadowed the meal, and I wish we had picked a different restaurant.

While I'm not vegan, I stopped by on a weekday for lunch with coworkers (some who are vegetarian…read morefor religious purposes). We chose this restaurant to accommodate them for once, as usually they accommodate us. I was impressed by the extensive menu. I've never been to a vegan restaurant before, but it had quite the breadth. I ordered the cheeseburger, comprised of a plant based patty, cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles, and housemade mayo served on brioche bun with a choice of fries or side salad. As they ran out of regular fries, I opted for sweet potato fries. The portions were a lot smaller than I'd expect for the price. Especially since my meal was $20 and I didn't leave feeling full (when usually I'm someone who always has to take at least some food home). Also, I was charged an additional fee for the sweet potato fries upgrade despite the lack of availability of normal fries to accompany my $16 burger. Perhaps I'm griping on subjective matters such as entitlement to certain quantities of food at restaurants, but our server took our orders without writing anything down and messed up or forgot almost all of them. I asked for garlic aoli instead of mayo for my cheeseburger. My coworker asked for a cheeseburger but got a chicken fried steak. My other coworker asked for a cheeseburger without any vegetables but all of them were on his burger or on the side. Another 2 coworker's orders were almost messed up, but our server came back to double check. Usually I'm not someone who cares about service, but our waiter messed up almost all of our orders and didn't even try to write things down. It wasn't even busy at this time. Overall disappointed in my experience here vegan food or not. I see other reviews here raving about the food and breadth of the menu, but I was left unimpressed.

I was already familiar with Dr. Weil through his work with Origins, and I use his line of skincare products from Origins, so I was excited to try a restaurant inspired by his approach to food and wellness. We were pleasantly surprised by everything we ordered. The food is definitely different from what you might find at a typical restaurant, but in the best possible way. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. The Edamame Dumplings were AMAZING! My daughter loves dumplings, and she absolutely adored them.
