Great food and service! We stopped by on our "off strip" day looking for some vegan food. We were able to get a table right away and the server was super friendly. Prices up and less ingredients. I've been coming here for 6years and often get the mushroom banh mi. The price has gone up (I get it, inflation) but getting less in the sandwich. I counted 7 bites of just bread. There's maybe 5 chopped mushrooms, 3 slices of cucumber, and 2 small cilantro leafs. This sandwich used to be loaded. I would give this restaurant 5 stars for the mushroom udon dish I had tonight but when one dish comes out and one person gets to eat BUT there are two people at the table, there is a big problem. We went in for an early dinner and the place was empty. A group of three came in after the two of us. We ordered and the other table ordered. They got their appetizer and then we got the mushroom dish along with the rice that we ordered to go with the special of the day, an eggplant and tofu dish, that my dining partner ordered. Many take out orders were picked up while we waited. We asked three times where our other meal was and we were told each time that it's coming out right away. I was almost finished eating when my dining partner said that this was ridiculous. She walked over to the cashier/kitchen area and saw the kitchen staff filling take out boxes. She asked one more time if her meal was ready, but it wasn't, so she cancelled it and I paid for my meal, and the rice. I asked the server to remove the rice from the bill since it was ordered to go with the invisible dinner, but, I had taken a spoonful of it, so the server said no. And we left. I can't decide if it was the server or the kitchen. I said the kitchen was slow, but, quite honestly, many takeout dinners were picked up in the interim and indeed, the server should have pushed the cook to feed people at a table. Really, I think they should have brought the dish out , if it had been ready, and not charged us for it, to keep the customer. Instead, my family will not go there again. They lost a customer and her family and friends. What a shame. read more

And a wonderful time was had by all! Veggieat is a cute little place that can fit a surprising amount of guests in the restaurant. Our host/server, Victoria, was charming, friendly and efficient. There were 10 of us in our meetup group and some of our group ordered sushi to share. I sampled some of the lasagna roll. It was interesting, a very unique texture. I ordered a teriyaki chicken roll that turned out to be HUGE! I shared it and still had some to take home! It was tasty and I liked it more than the lasagna roll. I also ordered post stickers that were perfect size and the eggplant and fried tofu. The eggplant/tofu was really good, super spicy! I really loved the way it was prepared. Although wok fried, it wasn't greasy at all and just juicy enough! One of our diners ordered a bao sandwich and the buns looked like tiger kittens! We finally stopped in to try this place. My daughter is vegetarian and we wanted to see how this place is. There are mixed reviews online which is why we delayed trying previously to be honest. It was busy when we stopped in for dinner last weekend. Our server was pretty busy and we were patient. Once our service started all went well. We each ordered dishes and they came out in the order they were prepared (not together). My son tried some sushi rolls which he loved and ate before we got our meals. My daughter tried a noodle soup which she did like. It had tons of veggie meatless items within it. I ordered a sesame chicken less dish with rice. It was very good. Texture was nice and flavor was great!y daughter had a matcha latte and loved it. Although the dishes came out at different increments we all enjoyed our meals. We had a ton leftover. So, my daughter ate my sesame chicken and bit into something very hard like a pebble. I couldn't tell what it was? Maybe a pit from a fruit or something? Okay so I really wished you could give halfsies bcus I would have given 3.5. Let me start by saying I really wanted to like this place bcus finding Asian Vegan food is rare on my side of Vegas. Today was my 3rd time trying this place, and I didn't decide to give a review until I could give a real assessment. Before today I tried this place twice prior. The first time I ordered over the phone 15 mins before leaving my hair appt. They told me 20 minutes. I ordered the vegan chicken wings and fries. It took me about 10 mins to drive there, once there I was told it would be another 20 mins. as if I never placed the order over the phone. They apologized, I waited. Once I got home the food was tasty. 2nd time was months after, so I decided to try it again, thinking that maybe the 1st time was a fluke bcus they had good reviews. This time I ordered the same vegan wings and the egg rolls. I was told it'd be 15-20 minutes. So I sat and waited, after 20 mins they brought me over some water bcus it would be another 15 minutes. When my food was finally done, I wasn't offered a free dessert or given anything for my patience. It was then I decided I would not come back to this place. Well today I went back a 3rd time against my right mind, but I was in Henderson again, and it had been a few months since the last incident. I thought for sure nothing would go wrong AGAIN. Wellll...I ordered vegan chicken wings and fried rice over the phone and the food was actually done in 20 mins. I get home and the "skin" of the wings looked overly cooked, they were wrinkly and burnt, and for the rice to be fried it looked awfully light like white rice with veggies. I was starving so I ate the wings, the skin was rubbery. I decided to try the rice and yep sure enough white sticky rice with veggies, never even touched a wok it seemed. It was gross (picture posted). Like spit out gross, it was flavorless and the texture was all wrong. Now keep in mind each visit to this place is a minimum of $20 + for two things, so I refuse to allow myself to keep spending money at a place that doesn't value your time and gives you sticky rice for fried rice, I just can't, it's disrespectful to my stomach. Came in on a Sunday afternoon for lunch and we were seated right away. First of all, I just want to give credit for their huge variety of selections - sushi rolls, noodle soups, rice dishes, appetizers, stir fries. You name it, they have it! VeggiEat is a fantastic restaurant and I've been here several times with my wife and friends. They have the best Thai tea, best chicken sandwich, and best walnut shrimp! One of my favorite vegan dishes is in fact the walnut shrimp and they make it to perfection. Their quality of food far exceeds my expectations. It's a nice small little restaurant, although it would be nice if it was a little bigger because it gets busy especially during the weekends (you know it's good). It's my first time eating here. I saw many good reviews about them, unfortunately it won't be from me. I ordered Pad Thai and Wonton soup. I'm shocked to see there is soupy sauce in Pad Thai. They should called this menu sweet and sour noodles instead of Pad Thai. (I am thai, so I know my food). Next is Wonton soup, the server told me right before serving that the wonton is out, so they used dumplings to replace it. It came out very salty and peppery. I tasted nothing but salt and pepper. I don't know if the other menu are good or not, but I had a bad experience from both menu I ordered. So if anyone want to eat here, just avoid Pad Thai and Wonton soup. read more

I enjoyed the rainbow sushi roll the most. It was thee most impressive vegan roll that I've ever had. It tasted very fresh and light with the most impressive vegan salmon that I have ever tried. A+++ presentation of the roll as well. If you're in the mood for vegan sushi- you should definitely try it! I do wish they provided a larger amount of wasabi with the roll. The tofu and veggie spring rolls were great too- however, the peanut sauce was a tad too sweet for me. The bbq baos we're just okay. They tasted a little dry to me and could use a tad more sauce. I came with the girl to check out the good vegan eats. It has a whole lot to choose from. There's a crazy amount of choices from styles including Asian and Mexican among others. A lot of interesting things that are as close as it can get to the real thing in flavor. They do terrific in look. A few vegan drinks also. They have smoothies. I had the banana and she had the peach. These are $3.95 and are a pretty big size. Has many choices starting with appetizers. We got the Vegan Shrimp. It's $6.95 for a few pieces that have a realistic texture. These are like actual shrimp but it's vegan. Also I had the Tofu Sandwich. It's $8.95 for pretty good size. This comes on a hoagie bun and has big pieces of marinated tofu A place for not extremely expensive vegan food. It's all plant based so no need to ask anything about it. I've been here countless times and have yet to write a review. You cannot go wrong here. I remember when they opened and my mom and I tried their food... they've come a long way. My friends and family love eating here and come any time we want to treat ourselves. Everyone is always so nice whether I'm sitting down to eat, or running in to pick up an order I called in. A good size inside if you're planning on eating with a group, or just small enough if it's just you. They have an extensive menu from entrees, specialties, sushi, to rolls. I love their rolls - Japanese lasagna, resembles very closely with the dairy version, spider roll with the sauceee, can't forget the sauce! Mushroom Lover was made for me, not in real life, but I love mushrooms and it comes packed with them. I think I've had almost every roll on the menu, I just failed to take pictures. Womp womp. Though there's no seafood in the rolls, they are still packed with flavor. They also don't fill rolls with a ton of rice to substitute content of the roll. The noodles in their wonton soup are cooked to perfection. Trust when you take it to go, the noodles are separated and not soggy. I crave this soup all the time. Even when it's hot out! Looked up lunch spots on Yelp that were close to me and stumbled upon VeggiEat, a place I drive by so often but haven't checked out yet. I'm so glad I finally did. Everything here is vegetarian which is pretty amazing! I ordered myself their sesame crunchy shrimp roll sushi for pickup. The food was ready in about 15 minutes which was great. They had it ready to go as soon as I pulled up. Parking was easy and so was finding this place. I hopped out, was greeted by a waitress and let her know that I had a pickup order. She already had it waiting for me which was great. I didn't even realize this was a sit down dining experience! Definitely want to come back and sit down next time. I took my sushi to go. They gave me packs of soy sauce too but the sauce on top was so incredible. The sushi was so fresh and tasty. I probably should have ordered more food because I was still a bit hungry after that one roll, but it was soooo good. I highly recommend the sesame roll for sure. The shrimp was so tasty and fresh. And again, the sauce was delightful and had a tiny kick to them but nothing too crazy. I will be back and I can't wait to try the Buffalo wings. I am not vegan but I do enjoy vegetarian/ vegan restaurants. Since I am still new in Vegas and I love to venture out. I do have vegan friends so want to explore more so when my friends are visiting I know where to take them. We got pot stickers, "chicken" drumsticks, "beef" chow fun, spicy basil egg plants with tofu, samoa chocolate cake, and cheesecake. They were all so delicious and the chicken drumsticks fool us for tasting so much like chicken and same with the beef. Will definitely getting the chicken drumsticks again and chow fun. we like the sauce from the spicy basil egg plants with tofu. Portion sizes are great to share. I have been eating more of a plant based diet and trying to not to cheat to badly on days that I want take out. I had been happy to see a number of vegan sushi spots popping up because while I love sushi, I don't love the mercury and radiation ending up in our world's fish, and also I want to help not contribute to overfishing. I am a bit confused as to what is vegan and vegetarian on their menu because it's says they are both on the front of the building, while the menu is not super clear on delineating that. I am not a purest, so it's not the end of the world for me, but some people are. They may consider separating their menu into two sections to help alleviate confusion. I have gone twice so far because the first time was so crazy yummy. The baked lasagna roll was my favorite at first, however the second time it was not as flavorful and the crunchies on top seemed a bit stale. I hope it was just a fluke. The mango roll is super refreshing and a total delight. The rainbow roll was also a success. What I loved was after eating the meal I didn't feel crazy thirsty all night like after traditional sushi. Also, I know at least their fish fake meats do not have vital wheat gluten. It would be nice if they could have information on all the fake meat they use because to get a clear answer on that when I asked before ordering was challenging. I am still unsure what the fake chicken and beef are made of. The drinks they serve have many dairy free alternative options. We chose the soy milk option for our Thai tea. Dessert was also wonderful. We got a passion fruit mousse! If it's truly vegan and not a vegetarian item then I am very impressed. Again a bit confused on which items are in what category. The first visit they had forgotten one of my rolls and I didn't realize till I got home. When I called they let me have the option of a credit and a discount of when I came next or a refund of the roll. I chose the credit and discount, and when I called to put in my new order later in the week I had no issue with them making this happen.
