Blown away by vegan sushi! The restaurant is warm, welcoming, and has such a great vibe. I brought my girlfriend here as a treat for Mother's Day, and she was extremely skeptical at first, not knowing what to expect from a vegan sushi restaurant. Safe to say, she was literally blown away--I am not joking! Our server, Frami, was amazing and made the experience even better. The kitchen does a superb job on absolutely everything, from the way they delicately slice the onions to the beautiful presentation and perfect amount of flavor on all of their items. It seems like everything I've tried from this establishment has been delicious. For this experience, we enjoyed: *Tomato Ramen - Deep, comforting flavor. *Dynamite & Spicy Tuna Pockets - Incredibly creative and satisfying. *Bulgogi - Served like tiny, flavorful tacos. *Yuzu Sake with Rose - Our specialty dessert drink that was delicious and not too sweet. I am already planning out my next return!

Really yummy for veggie food! I'm not a vegetarian, but I am a sushi lover, and I really enjoyed all of the items I had! The flavors and textures were all pretty spot on. The interior is clean, simple, and casual. We got seated right away on a Friday evening. The service was wonderful. The waiter answered all of our questions and realized they just rolled out a happy hour menu, so they brought that over and gave us extra time to look it over. We opted for a few temakis, the karaage, a thai tea, and a golden knights roll. I didn't realize that the temakis came in a set of two, so this was more than enough food for two people. Everything was really delicious! I feel like all of the items are fairly priced and they do allow for splitting checks by item or my amount. Overall, a great spot for both veggie and non veggie patrons. I'll for sure be back to try out more items, especially during happy hour which is from 3-6pm every day!

I don't often get out to Henderson, but I'm so glad I did--finding this vegan Thai spot made the trip completely worth it. From the moment I walked in, the experience was exceptional. I have specific dietary needs and requested modifications on three different dishes, and not only were they happy to accommodate me, they did so with kindness and ease. That alone speaks volumes. You can tell their food is made fresh to order, not sitting around in big pre-made batches. So many places get irritated when you ask for adjustments, but here it felt genuinely welcomed. The service was wonderful, the space was clean and inviting, and the food was absolutely delicious--flavorful, comforting, and thoughtfully prepared. It's rare to find a place that checks every box: great food, excellent service, and true care for their customers. I will absolutely be back next time I'm in Henderson, and I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for incredible vegan Thai food made with intention and heart.

Cool spot to try if you're curious about vegan cuisine. I'm not a big fan, but my brother in law wanted it for his birthday. We ordered the spring rolls, calamari, sesame chicken, and katsu curry. The chicken is all made of seitan, which tastes a lot more like chicken than other vegan options. It most likely won't go over well with carnivores, but if you're open minded, it tastes similar enough. The curry sauce was way too spicy for us all, and the sesame chicken was mildly spicy but fairly good. The calamari was liked by everyone at the table, and the spring rolls were decent. The wrapper is a little odd and chewy, since I guess normal spring roll wrappers use egg. Service was good and prompt. Restaurant felt clean and spacious, and I think it's a great place to bring anyone who is curious about vegan food. My BIL was quite happy with it.

This is my favorite Vegas restaurant. Exceptional food and a first rate staff which includes John and Maddy. Ask to meet master chef Oreo!

We love this place. The last time we went to LV was about 3 yrs ago. We tried Daikon Sushi at that time. We are trying this restaurant now that is the sister restaurant of Daikon. We ordered more of Thai style of dishes instead of the sushi rolls. We got Satay, Tom Ka Soup, Nigiri Sushi, Basil Eggplant and Tofu with Black Rice, Malaysian Curry with Black Rice, and Molten Lava Cake for a dessert. Their portions are big. Thus, we took leftovers to our hotel.

This is Daikon's sister and opened up about 5 months ago. They both have the same owner so we weren't surprised when the menu was the same but with more Thai options. Like Daikon, this restaurant is just as delicious. Our favorite was the sesame chicken rice as it's unique in its flavor and texture. All of the rolls was extremely delicious, but our favor was the chefs special: golden knight roll (we can see why it's a special). For dessert we had the molten lava cake and we couldn't believe that it was vegan. The chocolate was sweet but not too sweet and it was tasty overall. We also tried the deeper fried bananas and then coconut cream was the best part. Bananas were well flavor and fried. Service was excellent as the staff know us by names now. Fantastic restaurant overall and we're proud at how far they have come. Definitely one of the best vegan restaurants on our list so it is highly recommended!

Another city, another vegan sushi spot visit! I had some time before heading to the airport and was very glad I came upon this spot. I was originally split between here and Daikon, and was happily surprised to see that some of the sushi menu overlaps. We got the spicy garlic edamame to start. Could use a little more salt, but had great garlic flavor and was a good amount of spicy. We also got the sesame "chicken" rice plate. The "chicken" had a great texture and the sauce was also amazing. This may have been my favorite dish. We also got 3 rolls: sunset roll, yuba roll, and crunchy spicy tuna. The sunset was the best of the 3 but all were good. I would probably skip the spicy tuna roll next time and get a more special roll. For dessert, we split the lemon bar. It was a bit firmer than I expected but still delicious. The lemon flavor isn't super tart, which just so happens to be my preference for lemon dessert. I came in around 3pm on a Tuesday afternoon so it wasn't super busy. The waitress was very kind and came by to refill water several times.

The service from Maddy was amazing! Super sweet even though she was busy , and remembered everything we ordered efficiently. Food was great! Highly recommend if your vegan or trying to enjoy some light bomb tasting rolls. Black sesame cheesecake

I've been here now twice and really, the food they are putting out is pure art. I have Koi fish as of approximately two years ago, and it has become increasingly difficult for me to eat sushi, although I used to eat it at least once a week. However, sitting outside next to my natural pool with my Koi fish and eating sushi just doesn't jive anymore. We went to this place on Saturday and I had to go back again today, just a few days later, I really cannot emphasize enough how delicious the food really is. I was dreaming about the sesame chicken. The flavor profiles are impressive, and the presentation is gorgeous. Definitely recommend. I'm afraid people may get hung up and say well I'm not a vegan, and not go, and that would be a mistake.

I DEFINITELY recommend this all-vegan restaurant! As soon as my mom and I walked in, we were greeted by friendly staff. They were seen constantly cleaning and picking up as guests left, as well as wishing them farewell. The music was low to have nice conversations, the lighting was subtly bright and cozy. HOT DIGGITY DOG. I took a break from writing this review to eat the food I took pictures of and my goodness, everything was super flavorful (as a vegan, it's sad when I visit restaurants and things lack flavor sometimes.) Everything was hot and fresh. We also ordered spicy garlic edamame, and spring rolls with sweet & sour sauce. Delicious!!! The thai tea was super refreshing as well. :)

OMG! You have to check out Basil Vegan Thai & Sushi--it's so delicious, it might just convince you to go vegan! They serve the best vegan Thai and sushi in Las Vegas! What I love is that they don't rely too much on fake vegan meats; instead, they use tofu, fresh vegetables, and jackfruit for their sushi and Thai dishes! Honestly, you'd think you were eating meat, but it's all plant-based! It's simply amazing! Picking a favorite dish is tough because everything was fantastic, but the standout for me was their incredible plant-based sushi! We tried the Salmon Nigiri (roasted seasoned orange bell pepper on sushi rice), Tuna Nigiri (roasted seasoned tomato on sushi rice), and Eel Nigiri (cooked eggplant on sushi rice topped with sweet soy and sesame seeds). Plus, we sampled a variety of other delicious rolls! For the Thai food, we had Pad Thai, green curry, and fried rice, among many other dishes! They even offered a refreshing lemongrass tea. And for dessert, you can't miss the warm sticky rice with mango--such a delightful touch! The black sesame cheesecake was to die for! If you find yourself in the area, definitely give this place a try, whether you're vegan or not--it will make you want to embrace veganism! They also have another location on the northwest side of town called Daikon, which is fantastic as well. What makes Basil unique is their emphasis on Thai dishes, all of which were absolutely amazing, and I didn't miss the meat at all! As an omnivore and a foodie, I know when I've found good food. I hope you'll support this incredible local gem--I want them to thrive because their food is just that good! **Chef Kenny's Vegan Dim Sum: A Bold Exploration of Plant-Based Chinese Cuisine**…read more Chef Kenny's Vegan Dim Sum presents a thoughtful and imaginative reinterpretation of traditional Chinese dim sum. It perfectly caters to those who follow a plant-based diet while simultaneously captivating the palates of diners like myself, who typically enjoy meat-centric dishes. As I set out on this culinary adventure, I approached it skeptically, wondering how well classic flavors could be recreated without animal products. However, the experience was both enlightening and delicious, showcasing the rich tapestry of vegan cuisine while honoring its roots in Chinese gastronomy. My dining experience commenced with a delightful assortment that included Vegan Siu Mai, Bean Curd Rolls, and Hargow, each prepared with remarkable attention to detail and an evident dedication to the craft. The Vegan Siu Mai featured delicate, handcrafted wrappers enclosing a savory filling. This filling, made from a thoughtfully blended mix of plant-based ingredients, artfully mimicked the umami richness typically found in its traditional pork counterpart, creating a satisfying and deep dish. Next, the Bean Curd Rolls offered a delightful textural contrast. Each roll was perfectly crispy on the outside, delivering a satisfying crunch that gave way to a tender and flavorful interior, showcasing the craftsmanship involved in creating vegan versions of beloved appetizers. The Hargow was particularly impressive, boasting a translucent skin that practically shimmered on the plate. The subtle yet profoundly satisfying filling provided an authentic taste that highlighted the skill required in replicating such a cherished classic dish. To add a bit of variety to my meal, I ventured outside the plant-based menu with an order of non-vegan lettuce wraps. While these wraps diverged from the overall theme, they pleasantly added a fresh, crisp counterpoint to my meal, reminding me of the versatility and adaptability inherent in Chinese cuisine. The crisp lettuce provided a refreshing crunch and beautifully complemented the rich flavors of the other dishes. During my visit, Chef Kenny's apparent mastery in expertly replicating the complex umami flavors and diverse textures typically associated with traditional dim sum resonated with me. The plant-based substitutes utilized throughout the menu, such as Beyond Meat, were handled with remarkable expertise, allowing for dishes that simultaneously felt familiar and innovative. Though I cannot categorize myself as a strict vegan convert, I left with a newfound appreciation for the creativity and dedication Chef Kenny and his culinary team pour into every plate. For those adhering to a vegan lifestyle, this restaurant may serve as a beacon of gastronomic delight, firmly establishing that plant-based cuisine can honor time-honored traditions and present exciting, unique culinary experiences. Meanwhile, for non-vegans, it offers an excellent opportunity to step outside their familiar gastronomic boundaries and explore the endless possibilities of vegan cooking. Whether you are a curious diner or a devoted vegan, Chef Kenny's Vegan Dim Sum deserves a spot on your culinary itinerary. It is an experience that promises to surprise, satisfy, and inspire.

There are stairs or there's an elevator located close by for the ADA. It is very small inside: 3 tables pushed up against the wall so they only accommodate 3 seats each. Since it was our first time, they gave us a chance to look over the menu and ask questions. They were very accommodating to our requests for substitutions and even recooked our French fries to make them softer. My son and I shared the Salami sandwich with fries and I also got the southern fried oyster mushrooms with a Housemade dragonfruit lemonade. My son despises any vegan cheese or vegan mayo and he tore this sandwich UP! He even added extra mayo on his half of the sandwich. The olive jalapeño tapenade was tasty and really pulled the sandwich together but it was slightly spicy so careful to those who are sensitive to spice. The southern seasoned oyster mushrooms were so flavorful. The batter was light and crispy, the mushrooms were sliced thick and not too thin. One of the best I've ever had. The lemonade was okay. Could have used more flavor and more sweetener. Overall, I will definitely be back to try some more items on the menu.

I had the impossible Hoagie and needless to say it was the best VEGAN HOAGIE I HAVE EVER HAD. I had a vegan hoagie in Tampa Florida a few years back and of course I have had some pretty good sandwiches at Capriotti's but none of them can match the one I had at this establishment. This establishment will be added to my "MUST VISIT" list when I visit Las Vegas. Eat, Drink, and Be Merry, my Friends!!!

Love the menu options! Blackberry parade non alcoholic was refreshing with delicious hint of lavender. Truffle mushroom Bianca pizza was so great. Light and flavorful. Eggplant Filet I enjoyed with side of mashed potato and baked garlic yum! Ended with a house coffee and brownie sundae. Great place!

I've spent every birthday, some holidays, date nights, and random dinner outings at this restaurant. Out of all the times I've been here. I probably had three not so great experiences which isn't bad because I've been here a lot. But I'm pretty disappointed at this last visit. The scallopini Parmesan was DELICIOUS as well as the side of grilled artichokes. But it was extremely small. The drinks were decent. The charred leeks appetizer is NOT at all what you would think. There were four tiny, sliced leeks and four small pieces of grapefruit, which isn't even mentioned on the menu nor do I like. It was served cold, which also threw me off. Not a good appetizer and not in any way shape or form worth $18. We also got the leaks and risotto side. The risotto was not cooked thoroughly and was hard. It's laid out on the plate to make it look like a decent amount but yet again a very small small portion, especially for the price. I should've stuck with the basics. The zucchini blossoms the cigars and the scallopini Parmesan are probably the best things on the menu and consistently good. I get excited to try new things, but it seems to just end up being disappointing lately. There was also finally a new dessert which was a Matcha cake, but of course it was out. Probably for the best since all the new stuff seems to be a thumbs down this season. Our server was super nice though, and staff was very attentive as far as setting down new plates and clearing finished ones. Little things like that are appreciated. And I don't think they ever let our water glass get empty. I usually like to sit further back inside the restaurant but we sat in the very front by the rail this time which was a nice change and got to do some "people watching". It's a more casual feel area. Side note-I'm not sure what's going on with the lack of uniform for the hostesses, but it's not a very classy look for such a nice restaurant

The dining area is small but they have good seating for a table and by the wall. It's a casual atmosphere with good music playing. Menu offers a nice selection of sandwich that can be ordered as a combo or a la carte. I opted for a meal ($15.90) which include a choice of any sandwich, one deli side, a house drink, and sweet treat. I chose NoTuna salad, so good and delicious! It has tasty garbanzo beans, tomato, lettuce, cucumber, red onion, vegenaise and green spring mix served on a toasted ciabatta roll. The sandwich roll is slightly crunchy. I also got a potato salad ($9) as an a la carte, it's yummy! They have a NoTurkey Pasta salad as well and it's good! It has bowtie pasta, green peas, and crumbles of NoTurkey in a creamy sauce. Their housemade Rosemary Lemonade is refreshing! It pairs wonderfully with a delightful chocolate chip cookie, and the cookies are housemade and amazing! Service from Alecia is welcoming and friendly. The owner checked in to see how everything was and it's great! They have a loyalty card where you get a free sandwich after 10 stamps.

There is also a butcher case by the register where you can order the meats, cheeses, sides, and desserts made. I asked for a recommendation and was told the Pulled NoPork was a popular one so I gave it a try. There is an option to upgrade with a side, drink and dessert but I chose the sandwich for now. The sandwich was thick! Plenty of filling and the slaw on there was nice and refreshing. I barely finished the first half. The bread used is nice and fluffy with a light crunch. The pulled nopork itself was pretty good. I added honey Dijon mustard and it went well on this. Overall I enjoyed my first experience here. Love to see another good vegan sandwich spot that isn't generic.
