It's my fav of the AYCE Sushi Bars out here. They don't stuff their nigiri with a ton of rice and have some good no rice options too. My fav is in the pic. The Korean radish bomb is amazing. I usually take one of the radishes off and use it in place of ginger for my nigiri too. Cucumber salad is also bomb here too. Sakana used to be my #1. This place is so wonderful! Everything about this place makes me want to come back again and again!! No exaggeration, everybody who works there is moving the entire time you're there! They all work together like a well programmed machine!! Empty plates walk away with any employee who passes the table. They all check in with you while passing by. The service is unbeatable! The food is STELLAR! I've eaten A LOT of sushi in dozens of cities around the US. Sushi and sashimi would be my last meal if I could choose. This location takes quality and customer service very seriously and I am very impressed. It's in a strip mall, right next to a mini casino. You can't go wrong with AYCE sushi and this place is pretty solid. I'm a huge nigiri appetizer girl because rolls tend to all be the same minus plus one thing. The seared salmon, jalapeño salmon and the garlic tuna nigiri was pretty good. Im obsessed with spicy edamame and cucumber salad so I had plenty. I love baked mussels although they weren't that great today. $29 for the lunch special without all the extra add ons was plenty for me I'd definitely go back and judging by the lines a lot of people must feel the same way read more

Most food I enjoy, I think this is only the second time in my life where I've had sushi and it was really mediocre. It tasted like sushi you could get at a gas station or grocery store where the quality was low and the taste matched. Service was great, people were nice. I don't know how, but even the salmon didn't have much flavor at all. Everything tasted like the flavor was somehow muted. I was really disappointed. I usually frequent the S Las Vegas Blvd. location as it's closer to where I normally stay when I'm in town, but this one was closer to my cousin's house. Quality and portion sizes are exactly the same, staff was just as friendly as well. They checked on us periodically and we didn't even have to order on the tablet since they always came back to see if we wanted more items. Tried Top Sushi on Sunset for the first time on the 4th of July. The staff members were honestly so nice and incredibly welcoming to my friend and I. The food itself was great and we tried a nice variety of food. I even asked for recommendations and nothing disappointed me! The fresh oysters were served perfectly chilled over a bowl of ice with lemon and dipping sauces. Calamari was crispy tempura style with a great crunch. I will say it is probably the best calamari I've ever had. The Veggie Rock & Roll is super fresh and clean wrapped in thin, crisp cucumber instead of rice. The baked green mussels were rich and creamy with green onions and roe. Absolutely love the mussels. The fresh water eel nigiri was delicious and the glaze was not overly sweet. The stuffed tomato was fresh and savory (also another no rice roll). Chanel No. 5 roll was packed with shrimp tempura and spicy crab, topped with tuna, salmon, and escolar. I have had this roll at other places and Top Sushi & Oyster did a great job with it. The spider roll had some delicious soft shell crab. The sunset roll was filled with salmon, avocado, and asparagus with a mountain of masago. I was very pleased with the food! The only downsides were the cleanliness and the pacing at the end. My booth cushion was pretty badly ripped, and there was a noticeable pile of crumbs left sitting right behind me. Also, after last call, they brought my dessert (Korean Street Toast) out before my final sushi rolls arrived. It was a little backwards to eat dessert first, but it was still delicious! I just didn't want my ice cream to melt either.. but wow this dessert is so flavorful and the different textures with the hot and cold.. *chef's kiss* just delicious. Went to this restaurant with a few friends and it was a great end to my night. I unfortunately did not get the AYCE however the Philadelphia roll and takoyaki was really delicious! AYCE seems worth it, so perhaps I'll do that the next time when I'm more hungry! It's $35 for the B course and the nigiri seemed to be a favorite amongst the table. The service was fast and excellent. The ambiance is nice, I love the tree in the middle and the restaurant is spacious without feeling over crowded even though it was busy. Still very consistent. Came here on Friday evening and luckily there was no wait but the whole place was full. Service is good. There's a kiosk on the table now so you don't have to wait for your server to order. Food came out in a timely manner. Waitress still check on us throughout the meal. I had an amazing friend offer to take me out for dinner and share her new favorite sushi spot. I know she likes nigiri like me, so I had hope in the quality I would experience. It was a Tuesday night around 630p and I was able to be sat without a wait, but the restaurant was still busy, so I'd assume on a weekend there may be a wait. The space is fairly large though, so there is ample seating. At the table they have a tablet you can order from, but you still had a waiter who fairly regularly checked in and took orders as well. We did their most expensive option as we both enjoy uni. We also added fresh wasabi which is a small upcharge. The food came out very quickly and I was amazed that the rice ratio was so low on many items it was border line sashimi rather that nigiri. I was very pleased with this. The uni was fresh and creamy with a hint of sweetness just like I like it. You get salmon belly with the most expensive menu option, but honestly the normal salmon Nigiri was just as delightful. They also had great ikura, which is a favorite item of mine to order, but many ayce spots have poor quality. The baked green muscles had delicious sauces and we got several orders. They also have more dessert options than most ayce spots. I got the fried banana with strawberry ice cream. The banana was not to oily so that was appreciated. Miso soup was also solid which was appreciated since some places it's bland and salty. I always like to have it to add some comforting heat to my sushi meal that washes everything down. They also had other options maybe for next time, like a screaming o salad or some salmon and yellowtail kama, but I filled up so much on everything else. I think this might be my new favorite ayce spot. It's little pricier for their higher tier than some spots, but based off the items I really enjoy, I feel it's worth it. read more

One of the best ACYE sushi spots in Vegas! We used to go here to celebrate post exams all the time. Their Nigri selection is pretty big and super fresh (would not recommend the tuna though). Love their side menu items like: baked green mussels, kimchi fried rice, and corn cheese. You can order from their roll selection and do half rolls and can also order hand rolls. Their dessert menu is also top tier. We usually do B tier but A tier had special items, would recommend trying it once! read more

My brother in law visiting and one of the places he wanted to go was out for sushi since where he lives there is no sushi options. Unfortunately he had a stroke while here so going out was not an option so I decided to do a take out order. Big mistake, get home 2 orders of baked mussels, nope they are missing. The order of pork belly, nope that's not there either. Normally I try to check but since I ordered almost $140 in food there was 3 bags and they were tied so tight I had to cut them open when I got home so that wasn't really an option. Amazing quality of fish. Love to get our AYCE moneys worth so we always go for the nigiri and they literally put a pea size of rice under, which I love! Our first round came by really quick, the second time we ordered it did take 15-20 minutes to come out but the server reassured us that it would come out soon and was constantly checking on our order which is great. Was in Vegas and visited this place and it was one of the best AYCE I've had in a while. Their nigiri sushi isn't heavy on the rice and has a perfect balance of fish and rice! Depending on the option you get, the menu does have "A", "B", or "lunch" which can limit your selections but there is still a large variety of items you can get. Date of Visit: 12/26/2024 We visited Top Sushi & Oyster on the day after Christmas. We went to the restaurant directly from the airport, and headed over to the hotel on Stripe after dinner. We called ahead of time to confirm the wait time, while 888 Japanese BBQ told us the waitlist was currently full, and other sushi places also have an hour wait time, the Top Sushi & Oyster in Henderson had no wait at all. We sat right away after we arrived, and there is a menu of all you can eat sushi with 2 options: A Course $37.99 and B Course $34.99. Kids under the age of 5 can eat free with a paying adult. We ordered a Pitcher of Sapporo for $20 to pair with the Japanese appetizers and sushi. We picked A Course, so there are some extra items on the menu that were labeled as "A", including uni nigiri (which were out on that night), sweet shrimp nigiri, salmon belly nigiri, fresh oysters, Soft Shell Crab, etc. My favorite nigiris are the following: Garlic Tuna Fresh Water Eel Ikura Masago Sweet Shrimp Salmon Belly The oysters were quite fresh with different types of sauce to choose from. The baked green mussels were also a must-try. I like the yellowfish collar too! And the tako wasabi paired really well with cold beer. I would rate this place one star if I could the service is absolutely horrible we waited 45 minutes and then once we got a table the manager came to us because my kid hit the Display of toothpicks while we were waiting and he came to threaten us that we shouldn't even be in the property. I am a 30% tipper or above for good service I will never come back this kid came and he was about 26 years old saying he was the manager and tried to come at me like we were being disrespectful. We literally got up and left before we could even eat. My wife and I love this place. EXTENSIVE AYCE menu. This sushi bar doesn't pile on the rice with your order. This means more room for fish (LOL) They have ala carte and two other options.One is A price, the other is normal price. A price allows you to have some items that you cannot have at normal price. I believe A price is 4 dollars more. A price is worth it if you want to try oysters and some other unique items on their menu. We have always had great service. Trevor is the best. I do see some people waste food which is a HUGE NO-NO. You can be charged for wasting food. Don't do it. Order what you CAN EAT, then if you want, order more.
