I worked for this company in Tomball since the warehouse opened and was and order picker/warehouse associate. At one time it was a great company to work for but then the hired a new operation manager Arturo Moreno who created a toxic work environment along with the HR Elena Rosal. I was the top Order picker and my numbers reflected this. Arturo Moreno was promoting employees he liked and not employees who were top workers in the warehouse. Arturo Moreno and the HR Elena Rosal were forcing my supervisor to write people up for ridiculous reasons, and threatening him. Arturo Moreno called a supervisor retarded and when he reported this to HR Elena Rosal she said he was lieing. Arturo Moreno promoted his friend Chance to supervisor and he was a Lead who was lazy and on night shift would drink alcohol on work hours, he also had a gun in his backpack in the warehouse and HR Elena Rosal told him to put in his car. I was accused of saying negative comments about the HR Elena Rosal and they claimed they had recorded me from an employee in the warehouse phone, which is illegal. No investigation was made and I was never questioned about this, just terminated because the HR Elena Rosal lied and went and cried to the Company President Robert. I was denied unemployment and won my appeal, at my appeal HR Elena Rosal admitted whoever was on the recording did not say her name and that she did not investigate the claim against me or talk to me. Arturo Moreno is a married man and was having an affair with a coworker and the company knew this and did nothing, the HR knew and did nothing. I lost my job because of an HR Elena Rosal being on a power trip and abusing her position!!! Item arrived promptly, after assembly, I contacted Vego to order wheels for the 2' x 4' raised garden bed. I initially didn't think I needed them. The wheels arrived very quickly. Very sturdy, well made, easy to assemble. Love it - for the high quality, i feel it is well worth it and the value matches the product. I will admit, everything is assembled but I haven't had time to fill it and put it into effect. Looking forward to growing in it. I purchased the trellis cover as well. In my part of zone 9a, today is the first day of predicted steady days of 60 degree highs and dropping. I'm new to gardening and wanted to get my cold weather seeds planted while we were still in the 70's. I'll have to look at my planting guide to see if I should start inside now and transplant later. I really wanted to get seeded outside for cold weather crops. I'm hoping it's not too late. Mid week, we have 1 more 70 degree day and I hope to spend it getting my 2' x 4' filled. Vego Garden's raised beds are extremely well made and look fantastic! I ordered the 17" Tall 10 In 1 Modular Metal Raised Garden Bed Kit - British Green / 2.5' or 4' and the 17" Tall 2 ft. Extension Kit For 10 In 1 Garden Bed - British Green / 2.5' in early December 2021. For the extension kit, I should have hit the 4' button so that I would receive the correct rods as I was going to make a 4' X 10' X 17" bed. With a 2.5' kit, you get (2) 2.5' rods and (1) connector, and for the 4' kit you get (2) 2.5' rods, (2) 1' rods and (2) connectors. I was unable to start putting my raised bed together until March 2022. Consequently, I didn't realize my mistake for 3 months. I called Vego Garden and explained my dilemma. No problem. They actually shipped (4) 1' rods and (4) connectors immediately at no charge to me. Customer service is excellent! I will be putting in more raised beds next year and will order them from Vego Garden. I highly recommend Vego Garden for both their products and their customer service! read more

I wanted to try out a metal bed and Vego had a great deal going on. It looks nice and should outlive all the cedar and redwood beds I already have. It is good quality with a good finish. Assembly was easy but there are a lot of connectors. It definitely was easier to move around after assembly. I don't really have any complaints. There is one limitation which I had already thought about before purchase. I use a wheelbarrow to move my soil from street side to where the bed's final location is. With the wooden beds I can rest the edge of the wheelbarrow on the bed then tip it to dump the soil in the bed. You can not do this with a metal bed without crimping a panel. That meant shoveling twice. I somewhat modified my soil moving process by using 4 five gallon buckets to shovel the soil in to and then when I get the wheelbarrow to the bed it's fairly easy to dump them into the bed. I suppose if I was only using metal beds, I would make myself a ramp to make the dumping process be easier. read more

This is my fourth Vego raised bed. Prior to purchasing from Vego I only had cedar beds. I am experimenting with growing potatoes in this smaller one. I made a mistake and ordered the olive green. My others are the British green. I was still happy with this purchase. Easy ordering and fast delivery.l and I love the depth of the bed. Although putting on the rubber piece is hard now I see the tightness is worth it. Prior to purchasing this fourth Vego I purchased one less expensive metal bed from another company and the rubber piece went on very easily. I'm just starting to use that bed and the rubber piece is coming off Already. My other Vegas are going into their second growing season (one worked through the winter growing my collards) and are holding up well. Although the price is higher any future raised beds for me will be Vego or cedar. I haven't purchased any of their attachments although they seem great the price is too high for me. read more

I am very pleased with my raised 4-in-1bed(s). Since this is my second Vego bed, I was able to assemble it more quickly than the first one. I love the mister irrigation and cover that I bought for it. I believe a moth got trapped in the top of the cover when I was assembling it, so, a couple of weeks after installing it, all my pepper plants were covered in caterpillars. Sadly, I had to throw them out. I live in a humid climate in Greenville SC so I do worry about mold if there's not enough air getting through. I inten to plant tomatoes in these beds next spring so we will see how it goes....The 9-in-1 bed I purchased has blackberries and they are doing well. I told my friend at work about the beds and he just purchased 3 beds for himself. Repeat business is a good sign a company is doing something right. I purchased 4 tall 10-in-1 beds (4x8) with mesh covers and frost covers. My mesh covers are on constantly and work well. I also have 6 10-in-1 17" tall beds (2.5x9) but without covers. I am in South Georgia 8b. The beds are awesome (better than Birdies in several ways) and work flawlessly. Vego felt the mesh covers were deficient in several ways so they upgraded them and I can say they are significantly improved. The frost covers also worked well and no loss of produce last winter whereas I lost items in the low beds using traditional frost fabric. the covers are easy to install and to remove when not needed. Storing then frost covers when not in use is a bit of a problem though. I will be purchasing mesh covers and frost covers for my other 6 low beds this fall as a result of the quality of product and excellent service. I highly recommend Vego and their products. read more

I ordered this product Nov. 14th. It arrived in a timely fashion, there was no damage to the box. As I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, I have not unboxed the 17" tall L shaped standard size raised bed kit that I ordered and will most likely leave it until spring. I own 3 other Vego raised beds. The two 42" circular raised beds have been in place since spring 2022 and the 6 in 1 raised bed has been in place since spring 2023. These raised beds arrived in great shape with all required hardware. There were a few minor scratches on a few of the panels for the 6 in 1 kit. The beds are quite sturdy and have not been affected by the weather, including several feet of snow and standing water in the spring. The raised beds are great as it is easier to tend to your plants, and the vegetable yield was great from the plants grown in the raised bed. read more

The bracing rods we ordered to replace the incorrect ones that came with the beds, (my ordering mistake) were not 4 ft (48") long as advertised- they were 46.25 inches. The beds are all 4' wide and we had ordered the covers to put on them and they fit a 4' wide bed. Contacted the company, they sent out replacements - but again the replacements were the same length as the first replacement set. Instead of going thru the hassle of requesting permission to return and waiting for more replacements, we contacted a person who had offered to machine the parts that we had left over from the boxes in order to get enough to finish our last 3 beds and do the 3 beds we are going to do in the Spring, He was quick - had them done in a week and reasonably priced. Didn't mind paying him as he recently lost his job - so it all worked on in the end. read more

I purchased three 12-panel 32 inch tall raised beds. Kudos to the design team who created something that uses the same sized bolts for everything and where the top and bottom are the same. That made assembly straight forward - but not fast this senior woman doing this by myself; my best time was just over 2.5 hours - that includes 35 minutes to peal off the cellophane covering and 15 minutes to put on the top band. Leveling them after assembly was not difficult because they seemed to self-level to a great extent. The combined capacity of the 3 beds as I assembled them was 6 yards of soil. I filled the bottom with rotting logs, branches, and wood chips, so in the end I needed less than 4 yards of soil. The light green color looks great in my garden, and I'm sure they will last much longer than the barn wood beds that I built last year. read more

I was attacked o the Vego garden beds because of Height-- getting older and bending a problem. Got the 3o" beds and no longer a problem. As a side note the rabbits can can not reach to feast. Claim to not disturb soil due to it's chemical make up. 20 year longevity. Upon arrival was evrn more impressed with impressive they look, and the inside bar gives such added strength.They appear high quality. Assembley takes 2 persons to meet the noted time prediction. I am an older person and needed help with setting the final screws aand moving into place. Otherwise could do the rest myself. I ordered 2 Vego Garden beds 17" tall 10 in 1 and am once again very happy with the quality of the product. Always consistently excellent all parts of the garden bed are perfect - no defects, missing bolts, no scratches. I also have 2 - 9 in 1 tall beds, 32" tall and have had these at least 3 seasons and they are holding up great. So now I will have 4 Vego Garden beds and am not ruling out more. My husband and I have a small 1-acre ranchette and grow lots of vegies, and other things in different types of beds, in ground, no till etc. My Vego Garden beds always produce well, are easy to tend, and have less weeds and pests. Very well made product, assembly tolerances were good. No issues with fitment or quality and the system was well packaged. My only complaint would be the time to unpack and assemble ten 10 in 1 systems. The plastic film that protects the paint is on both sides of the panels is nice, but simply laying paper between each panel would have been a lot easier to deal with. It took over 5 hours to peel the film from 10 kits. Assembly took an average of 50 minutes per kit with a powered driver. There are just a lot of screws and nuts. I gladly would have paid more for shipping if the panels were larger to speed assembly. If you are only getting a few kits, it won't be a big deal, but 10 kits was 2 days of work to assemble. read more

I am only giving the raised bed cover 4 stars as I have not even opened the box yet as it is still Winter here in Illinois. Had a big ice storm the other day. I will be starting seeds soon, so I am sure that will make me more anxious to get out in the garden. Customer service is excellent at Vego Garden. So far I have been very pleased with the seven raised beds I have purchased. They look great and I have gotten several compliments on them, put them together almost by myself, hubby was a couple of extra hands if I needed them. If you have a question about something they are quick to answer. I am not sure that they can make the weather change though - LOL Happy Gardening!!!! read more

These modular containers are just the solution I was looking for! I wanted a more permanent replacement for my old rotted wood raised beds but didn't want a galvanized or some other metal container that would leach toxins into the soil. I like that the depth is 17" ( or more, depending on which system you purchase), that the containers don't have bottoms, and the color selections are nice. They are easy to assemble once you do the first one and I like how you can adjust the configurations of them to your space. We have two very large areas on our property so this was quite an investment but the easy upkeep going forward, along with the aesthetics of them is totally worth it. read more

We bought a second one last fall, and it wintered over a couple of gorgeous Montauk Daisies, so we're really looking forward to spring. Since we moved the Montauks into the vegetable Vego Garden last fall, we got another one for veggies this year. (The garden that the Montauks were in is now a Vego Garden full of other flowers in the front of our house.) We love the products, the quality, the customer service; everything. I can't say enough how happy we are with these raised beds. We were originally looking for an alternative for a raised bed when lumber prices went sky high, and that was a blessing in disguise. These are not cheap, however, you are truly getting what you pay for. WAY better than what we would've built out of lumber, they look so slick, put together so easy (thank you Vego for the updated plastic protectant - comes off SO much easier than our last order!!), and I can tell they will withstand the test of time. The trellis was fairly simple to assemble, looks great and seems to be pretty sturdy- the pieces feel well made. Got it for tomatoes. Also got one 4 in 1 bed (for tomatoes) and the cascading bed for herbs. It took two of us 3.5 hours to put the beds together but some of that was peeling the plastic off the pieces. The trellis was around 20 minutes to assemble. The beds are sturdy and when assembled you realize how big a cubic yard actually is! BTW, Customer Service is GREAT! When I discussed my configuration, they suggested a different bed that was less expensive and perfect for my space! Overall, very pleased with my purchase. read more
