Recently attended a Vegas Girl Events Reset for the new years session. My first visit to Velvet Vine Wine was wonderful. Convenient free parking next door in a dirt lot in downtown.. a plus. Easy to find the location.. there's plenty of space in this event space to hold your event. From doing yoga to work meetings, this would be the perfect place to hold your next event. Even being located downtown, the noise level is minimal. If your attendees are wanting to purchase food & beverage, they have Coffee, tea, wine, pastries, salads, flatbreads for sale. Located near downtown this cozy spot is just so beautiful. The artwork on the outside of the building is so pretty. I will say it was a little tough to find parking and the closest is a dirt lot, so plan for that! However, when you walk in the space is so beautiful. It's very open and there is a ton of seating. The staff here is so kind and I love that they have coffee and cocktail options! Something different. They also offer pasties as well from danishes, to salads, quiches, flatbreads. This is such a unique spot that you can come with friends or family and just chat and not have the hustle and bustle of a bar or the seriousness of a restaurant. Very cute location in the downtown arts district. Parking is not as bad as you might think for this one, there is a lot right next door. There was only one person working the cafe area so patience is key. They have some very nice looking coffee flights and sandwiches available. I will be honest I stuck with the mimosa flight for this day. Nice assortment of flavors beyond the typical champagne and OJ. I will consider going back again for the food. read more

Spacious new wine spot with a flower bouquet bar! Came on a Saturday night when they were hosting a shopping event and it was chill. Ended up parking across the street on the side where it's metered 8am-6pm and walked across. I was surprised how gigantic the space was inside! A friend and I recently went to this place for a silent book reading event. I had never heard of it, but was pleasantly surprised when I walked in and saw how cute it was. The ambience is sophisticated and chic. We tried the charcuterie nachos. I scraped the meat off, so I can't speak on that, but all of the other ingredients on it made for a very tasty snack. I would definitely eat that again. I also enjoyed a glass of the Josh wine, which paired well. There were only two people there working. Not sure if that's the norm, but they were friendly and had great customer service. This place was difficult to find & parking isn't the best that's my ONLY complaint . However, once you get inside you'll love the open space and decor , very minimalist & chic. They have small bites, sandwiches, coffee and of course cocktails. Loved my lavender citrus mimosa, it had some fruit in it as well. Fun new wine and coffee shop located near downtown! They have a limited food menu and serve wine and coffee all day. The #1 must get item are the charcuterie chips. Was a genius idea and they were amazing. We also got a few sandwiches which were very tasty but could use some spreads to spruce them up. The charcuterie board portion was perfect for the price, I didn't feel I was being skimped on crackers or meats or cheeses. Had a "Coffee and Conversations" work meeting with come colleagues here- The plants all around were pretty. I enjoyed the latte that I got. We also got some flatbreads- they were okay. I read that they offer fresh flowers for sale but they did not have any on the day we went. The building is easy to miss as there is no real identifying sign outside. There is a dirt parking lot on the side of the building that you can park in but is also not identifiable. I called before going in to double check if I could park there bc my coworkers were circling downtown for a long time trying to find surrounding parking. The place has a lot of open, unused space. The wine selection feels like someone just went to a total wine and grabbed a few options then up charges for them for the experience? The staff doesn't know much about the wine selection, which is disappointing. They really weren't able to recommend any wines? You can look up the wines on total wines and get some good descriptions. Then I asked if they make traditional cappuccinos and the staff wasn't sure. They couldn't even tell me ratio so I could figure it out. This place is lacking in a few areas. I give this place zeros stars but it would not let me submit without choosing a star rating. I bought a ticket to an event at Velvet Vine downtown and what a terrible experience it was. No one showed up to open the place. There were about 25 of us that paid for the event that were standing outside, downtown, on Las Vegas Blvd at 8am after we paid to park blocks away. This place is a joke. I have been there for other events before and the service and the food/drinks were unimpressive. Don't waste your time on Velvet Vine, you will be disappointed too. read more

Would've loved to have tried this place and had a good experience. First impressions are very important and when you pay and wake up at 6am to go to an event that is supposed to be hosted here and nobody shows up to open the shop or even answers the phone, it makes the business seem unprofessional and makes me think having new local customers is of no importance to them. While I did get a refund from the person who set up the event, the owners of the shop should've found a way to reach out to all of us that were sitting outside waiting in 50 degree weather and offered some type of apology for wasting our time and gas driving downtown at 7 in the morning. Wish there were more tapas or sharable snack food options. Staff is really friendly. Drink menu is average but tasty. Velvet vine is one of the most unprofessional establishments I've ever done business with. We did a collaboration with them for a pilates event my friend was hosting and was told everything would be open and set up by 7:15 AM. Upon arrival at 7:15, no one was there and after multiple phone calls, no one was answering or showing up. The event was supposed to start at 8:00AM. 32 girls showed up at 7:45AM, waiting in the cold parking lot in the middle of downtown for the event to start with no employee answering their phone until 9:30AM! When we finally got a response to the no-show, they offered no reason or explanation as to why no one showed up. This was after we had to send everyone home, refunding their tickets and giving them a free ticket to the next event; losing money and rapport for her new pilates business. Needless to say, don't do business with Velvet Vine. I would even reconsider getting a cup of coffee. It is mediocre at best! read more

Unfortunately, I sent Michelle emails and called a couple times regarding an event I would have loved to host there, for 48 guests, none of my messages were returned in a timely manner, and only one email was acknowledged.This level of unresponsiveness is unprofessional and demonstrates a clear disregard for client/customer time. It ultimately prevented us from moving forward with the project/service. I cannot recommend this service based solely on the unacceptable communication standards. read more
