This place has a VERY elevated menu, even the fries are a step above. Loved the wine flights, lots of smaller vineyards available as well as the larger well known ones.

    Tomahawk steak

My family took me here for Mother's Day dinner and it was fabulous! Shawn and Joel took good care of us all night. We tried the Tomohawk steak and wow, was it good! We also had the kimchi potstickers appetizer and afogatto for dessert. Everything was delicious and we had a really fun night.

Happy hour chicken wings, garlic truffle fries and Hung's Margarita.

I got prosecco and my partner got Pinot noir from the happy hour and tbh they were delicious. My partner drinks wine more often than me (I hate the dry taste of wine lol) but I wanted to come to try something new. We ordered the Waffle and Caviar, Sausage Roll, Brushetta from the happy hour and the Chef's Tasting board. The Waffle and Caviar was super flavorful! The touch of masago was 10/10 paired with the waffle and cream sauce! Ugh my fav truly. Next we got the Brushetta and my partner loved it. He said the tomatoes were delicious and paired well with the bread and sauce it was marinated with. I did try a bite even though I'm a tomato hater but man you can tell the tomatoes were fresh. I had a piece with no tomatoes because I loved whatever was on top as whatever the tomatoes were marinated in! Next came the Sausage Rolls and man were they delicious paired with their homemade cheese dip! I don't think I'd get again because it's quite heavy with the wine but def glad I tried. Lastly was the Chef's Tasting Board... this was so good. You could tell the cheese and meats were fresh and paired very well all together. The main star for me for that platter was the bread dipped in that garlic butter balsamic + oil... ugh delicious. I can't wait to get the membership and go back.

Today, I arrived around 3:00 PM and asked for an inside table for six. I was told there would be an event at 5:00 PM and that we couldn't stay because she couldn't "a bunch of screaming babies there". I told her we would be in-out within the hour and she still suggested I leave! My baby wasn't fussing, she was peaceful inside her bassinet stroller! I left feeling unwelcome, the place was absolutely dead. The only customers were sitting at the bar. As a new mom, it's already challenging enough, and being refused service because I have a stroller was disheartening. I definitely won't return. We went somewhere else, finished by 4:00 pm and my baby slept! If you aren't going to be child friendly, FINE -- put out a sign so moms know not to come here for dinner.

An oenophile, of course. A foodie (even though there is no food other than what you wish to bring in), ditto. Shannon and company have put together my ideal wine bar. The selections-- Ever evolving, classic styles to low intervention, as long as it is in service to the grape juice, that's what you'll find. Take a moment to listen to what they can tell you about the offerings, which come by the bottle, glass and 3 x half glass flights. A large room with various types of seating areas (including a private area) for different group sizes and feels, including a u shaped bar. Almost like a coffee shop but very modern and sleek. You can see much of the cellar as well. Now I only know Garagiste as a frequent visitor to Las Vegas but each time I'm there, there are locals picking up their wine club selections or hanging out. The soundtrack for me is great (heavy on 90's/2000/2010's adult alternative). And each time, I find one it two surprises. There's a Happy Hour which discounts glasses (plus you get a nice skewer of manchego and chorizo). So head to the Arts District (where you'll find lots of great everything) and experience a great wine drinking time.

It came with a free nibble of cheese and sausage. The manchego offered was delicious and a nice accompaniment to the wine. Since we were the only ones there, it was a little too quiet for us...but will give this place another try later in the evening next time we are in the Arts District. Husband appreciated that they also offer beer so he didn't have to get wine. I'd recommend this place for a first stop before heading to dinner in the area. Parking is relatively easy if you don't plan on being a lush for the evening. Ha! Extensive wine list at all price ranges. Beautiful modern decor.

We walked right in & the place was dead with only 2 other tables filled. We got seated right away & service was polite & attentive. The ambiance felt like you're in a vintage cave similar to one of the wineries we've been to Napa. It felt relaxing & personable. Hubby ordered the worldwide red wine adventure which included 3 flights...a Malbec, Tempranillo, & Chianti. I had the Joe's the best of the best Cabernet which included 3 different pours of Cabernet. I'm from LA & have always been into cabs but recently have transitioned to old world wines bc it pairs better with food in my opinion. However, hubby suggested we have an open mind & order both the old world & new world wines. Surprisingly, I thought the cabs tasted better than the old world wines. The cabs listed on the menu are ones that I've never had before & it was bold as expected but solid. I've had better old world wines so it was just okay. With that being said, I don't mind coming back to try other wines on the menu.

All the staff was super friendly and our server proved really good service. We had wine by the glass and the whipped Brie, mushrooms, steak, and split the burger. Way too much food considering everything was fantastic! Luckily we boxed the steak and reheated perfectly the next day. Wine was fabulous, especially the Alberino. Started with the Somm wine flight on a Thursday night. 4 wines chosen at random by the sommelier. First off, great idea! Second, they were delicious choices. The menu is mostly filled sharables grouped by vegetables, proteins, etc, and we shared two entrees as well. -Whipped Brie with honey and blackberry. Ask for extra bread, you will want to finish it. -Macatie mushrooms in garlic sauce. Star of the night. -Tagliatelle + scallops. Good and fresh, but a bit disappointing as the scallops were tiny instead of large...felt like a frozen bag was added -Shrimp w garlic and chile. Wow! Just wow. Should have asked for bread here, but I was too full to add bread. I could have licked the plate for this garlic chile sauce! Great service. Atmosphere is smaller restaurant with tables close to each other that offer a view of kitchen or window. Despite table proximity, noise was manageable enough to have conversation. It was fun to seek Kay, co owner energetically checking in on every table. Will be back!

It wasn't that crowded but the service was really slow, we had to bring our check to the bar to pay because we couldn't get the servers attention. We saw a lot of staff just standing around.
