I have been here 2 times in the last week , both with appointments . The first time was for an oil change ( took almost 3 hours) and also to look at the rear view camera as it was intermittent . I was told it needed a software update that would take 30 mins . Went back today and 1 1/2 hours later I went to get a status update. I was told they didn't know which software update to do. I took the vehicle and left. Everyone in this place looks like their dog just died. The place looks close to going bankrupt and deserves to go bankrupt with service like this . This is related to a car buying experience Used Truecar.com to get pricing from multiple dealerships. This dealership immediately jumped on me and replied even thought they did not have the car in stock. They called roughly 15 times but would not give any pricing, despite that begin the whole purpose of True car. Explained to them i was not looking to waste time and not sure why they signed up for True Car if they were unwilling to provide pricing except in person. Had to remove myself from their mailing list as got tons of follow up e-mails. In addition they called me two additional times after I told them i already bought a car and asked why I went with someone else. The second time I left this review. I don't think you should sign up for a system where you are willing to give instant price quotes. Then say you will only give a price quote in person. Then repeatedly pester the person. Need to rethink your sales model. read more

Vendetti's recently damaged my car and are not taking any responsibility for the damages. My car was towed less than 2 miles and I was charged nearly $300 for the tow. I questioned the amount and was told it's the "maximum allowable amount" which means they are charging as much as is allowed by the state. What a sham. When they towed my car they did not have the keys so the front wheel was dragged into the wheel well, causing body damage that cost more than the original repair. They stated they were not responsible for any damaged caused by the tow. These guys are crooks, stay away. read more

My wife came in there today to deal with the Recall issue on our 2007 GMC Envoy, and she was told you would have to charge a diagnostic charge to deal with a recall? This doesn't seem right to me. The drivers side window no longer goes up and down due to the recall issue going on with 2007 Envoys. There is no diagnostic needed, the issue is known and we have recieved notices in the mail from GM. The window needs to be repaired due to the fact that GM has issued a recall for the door panel allowing debris to enter the door frame and damage the window regulator. Why would you ever charge a diagnostic charge to a customer on a recall? Bad Business. read more

I was shocked to find out that a battery cost me $219.00. That is absurd but had to get it because it was not holding a charge I was told and it is needed to get an inspection sticker? I was also sitting waiting for the paper work to get done for over and hour. My car was done but not the paper work? It cost me $130.00 to try and find why for the 3rd time my windows stopped working. And to boot they still did not find the problem so I have to buy fuses for when it happens again. I usually do not question prices when I come there because I have been doing business with Vendetti Motors for over 25 years. Just saying. Before I left they told me I am going to need a catalytic converter for $1100.00 . Other that though I had a great experience. read more

Recently was on a trip from Western Mass to the Cape. When my check engine light came on. After stopping at a local store the problem became more than a check engine light. The engine need a meditate attention. With no appointment and only a couple of hours before closing. The service department was able to fix my car and get me back on the road. The staff was excellent checking in with me from time to time about the progress and about how much longer the service should be. The waiting area was comfortable and the bathroom were super clean. I recently had a horrible experience at Vendetti with the used car manager. With over 20 years of automotive experience under my belt, I know why I left the business. I went to the dealership with my own pre approved financing and a reasonable offer in hand. After taking the vehicle for a test drive and inspecting it, I handed him my paperwork and said " if you can make this work we have a deal." I even put a $500 deposit on the vehicle. He insisted in having the finance department try to find me a better deal. Even after I told him this is what I have and can afford. After waiting all day to here back from them, the finance department called and said I already had the best deal. No kidding, That's why I came prepared with my own financing. Not even five minutes later the used car manager "Tom Kimberley" called me back and said looks like you need $3000 more for the down payment on top of the $7000 I was already putting down. When I explained I didn't have another $3000 he promptly said, "When can you stop by so I can refund your deposit". This is why used car salesman have the worse reputation. Now I have a bunch of dings on my credit and no truck. Thanks a lot.. I'm going to spend my hard earned money elsewhere and so should you. read more

Perhaps one of the worst customer service experiences. Went in to look at a car I found online. I had done my research and was well prepared with what I wanted and what my trade in was worth. We were assigned a salesman, who I have empathy for, but may have had brain damage. He took us on two test drives with two complete different vehicles (Tahoe and Yukon). About 20 minutes later he held the keys up and asked if we had test driven the Tahoe yet (which is the one we were talking about buying). It was like the twighlight zone. He must have asked 10 times if we owned our car outright. I asked to see a used Acadia and he brought around a new one. I asked while on a test drive if car had Bluetooth. He said "probably." I asked if it had a reverse camera. He said "put it in reverse and see." I asked if they could fix the broken console. He said "probably" and never asked. What kind of salesman doesn't know?? Probably is not a suitable answer. The sales manager came over only once and started pitching me on the brand new Yukon. I said $80,000 is out my budget. He kept going and never took a breathe. Our guy couldn't sell if his life depended on it and the manager couldn't turn it off. Sad thing is we would have bought car right then and there despite their horrible service, but they underpriced my trade in by almost $3500. It has since been traded in so that is a fact. They tried to follow up with us by email and that was about as friendly as an angry drunk. Don't waste your time with this joke of a dealership. Why buy from them when you can go to Herb chambers with better inventory, professional staff, and a warm welcoming experience. read more

After having my vehicle looked at by Vendetti Motors several months ago, and paying a fee to do so. I was quoted around $1800 for repairs. Booked the appointment, overnight decided not to go ahead with the work and canceled first thing the next morning.Today had a flat tire that was non repairable. Vehicle towed to Vendetti's. told they can order and have tire for next day. Matt from service called to confirm, and informed me that when I come to pick up vehicle next day after only a tire replacement that I have to pay a 35% restocking fee for parts from several months ago, because I did NOT have work done, and if not paid.. they will not release my vehicle to me. REALLY?? First time I'm ever hearing of this. That's $680 plus tire $270 I think NOT!! I never had any work done on the vehicle at any time, nor was I informed of a restocking fee, and did not sign anything to acknowledge this so called policy. After a dispute with MATT from service who then told me it will be $100 to release my vehicle to me. WHAT??? Where did that figure come from? That's not 35% of quote from several months ago. When I asked to see where this so called policy is stated or written he said there is not one, I've just been told that's what it is. So a call to local police my vehicle was finally released to me with a lecture from Matt the so called service manager who stated and I quote " I hope I never see you again (feeling is mutual) and that if I were a regular customer we would be having a different conversation" AGAIN REALLY??? If this Vendetti Motors customer service, Then I am so glad I am not considered a regular customer and will NEVER be!! VERY SHADY to me. read more

After being stranded over a dozen times with a vehicle that wouldn't start and many tows and repairs, they finally took it back. BUT it was a long fight and they did not want to make this right. Let's see where to begin with this most unpleasant experience I had at this dealership. Lets see it all started on 9/1 when I decided to take a 2011 Cadillac srx premium for a test drive. My salesman was Ken who mind you was using this care for his demo. Don't worry me telling you this will come full circle. So as we test drove the car we asked have both set of keys right. He assured us they do and the other one is at the dealership. So we decided to buy the car and picked it up on 9/5. Now it's the morning of 9/5 we walk in talk to Ken and bring s us over to Joe to sign the papers. 30 mins later papers are sign and now ready to leave with the car. Now this is where it gets good. We meet Ken to bring us to our car. Upon getting to the car Ken proceeds to say we only have one key. We will have to contact the original owner to see if he has the other. Ok so why didn't you tell me this the days leading up to signing the papers or the morning we walked in lol. We wait till after I sign the paper's. Don't worry this is going to get better. So now we get the car home and it's the afternoon. We go to program our phones and would you know the Bluetooth doesn't work. Mmm try everything reseting and all and still no luck. Ok no biggie will have it looked at. Now let's take the care for a ride. As we drive being that it was hot on Saturday. Turn the ac on and yup you guess it. It doesn't blow cold. Now I'm mad wait they said they did an inspection. Mmm did they really. Now let's jump to 9/9 when we have our service appt. Bill who works in service tells me the ac works and blows 40 degrees. What wait bill the setting only goes to 60 can you tell me how that is lol. So he says will wait till it gets warmer and check again. As far as Bluetooth that needs a relay. Ok I'm fine with that. Ok bill says will call you later to let you know about the ac. Time passes and is now 2:30 hi Bill it's Todd can you tell me what's up with my wife's Cadillac. It was a little low so we drained it refilled it and put dye in it to see if there are leaks. Will call you back in an hr. Well 2 hrs pass and finally got a call. Supposedly no leak so drive the car for two weeks and bring it back in and will check it for a leak. Ok so what about the Bluetooth is that fixed. Oh no we can't fix that the after market insurance will only let us fix the ac before fixing that in case they have to come look at it because it was filed under the same day appt. Seriously are you freaking serious. Mind you only have owned the car for 5 days and already getting the run around. But please come pick up your car make another appt in two weeks and then if it's fine another after that for the Bluetooth. Ok how about the key I asked since been bugging Ken my not so wonderful salesman for two days about it. Oh I ran it by my manager and the car comes only with one key. Ok but your Saleman told me on the test drive there is two. Hold on I will transfer you to Shawn our sales manager. Now onto Shawn we go. Hi Shawn this is Todd you know what's going on right. Yes heres the thing Todd I can't do nothing about used cars because that's just what they are used cars. Lol. So then I say don't you think that was kinda deceitful what you guys did. Shawn answer and I repeat his answer was deceitful and then a chuckle. I go did you just chuckle and he goes yes I did. Then he says you know Todd we try to be accommodating for our customers. Correct me if I'm wrong but we went to your house to look at your Camaro. Yes Shawn yes you did but I told Ken I can already tell you that you won't offer me what I want for my car so it's pretty much a waste. Click hello hello can you believe it Shawn hung up on me. So wife goes to pick up the car and Shawn tells her I hung up on him like really seriously. Then proceeds to tell her I will talk to Ken in the morning and if he told you that on the test drive I will order the 150 dollar key. Now we're in limbo waiting till tomorrow. My question to you is if Shawn can lie do you think Ken will be honest or say he even said that, do you? Lol we all know there going to say he didn't to keep the money. But remember according to Shawn this isn't deceitful practices this is them accommodating there customers. Lmao. Lets see and will tell you how this turns out tomorrow stay tuned car fans. Don't go here for service. Service reps are too busy to listen to you while you are telling them what is wrong with the vehicle. How do you fix an issue when you don't listen? I felt like I was a hassle for the employee. Spent $700.00 to fix an A/C and the next day it doesn't work. Great!!! Bring it back and they want to charge us to charge it again.
