Update: two nails broke in half and one nail just came completely off. It hadn't even been a week...

I can honestly say that I have never been to a nail salon for a pedicure that I have gone back to for a second time. I've always had a sub-par experience. I went to Venezia Nail Spa on Preston and 380 and it was a wonderful experience! They were PACKED, yet I waited less than 5 minutes. A minimum of 4 managers and two others came by to check on me and make sure I didn't need anything. I have never experienced anything like this and this will be my go-to place from now on! Oh, they also had guys that worked there and their only job was to clean up after all the nail techs and keep the salon spotless! Still amazed at this place! read more

I came back to get my nails done for express weekend party because this salon is closed to my house. Of course, not pedicure because the pedicure area got strong shit smell from restrooms. Therefore, i gave them another try for nails only. The receptionist brought me to the table and technician whose name Holly did my nails. She was so rude, i asked her if she can made it look very naturally for my important party. She didn't answer and kept doing her way. It came out so ugly, i needed a almond shape, but they were looked round and all nails have different shape. She also charged me $5 for long nail while they are very short. She did it too fast in 20 minutes and tried to get another customer... I don't know why everybody were rushing while only few clients there at the same time i came. My nails were not shiny and ruff feeling on surface. I have to come to another salon the redo it again at the same day. This is my last time and never want to let them try again. So I had made appointment to get my nails done, with my friend and at first everything was great. First, the lady I got switched with the lady my friend got which is Katie,because the first lady I am assuming didn't know how to do ombré nails.. I asked the lady named KATIE who did my nails; I had told her that I wanted ombré nails, then she showed me if I liked it, and honestly I didn't like how she did the ombré type so I told her if I could change it to something different instead, from their she looked unpleasant about the sudden change which I mean you shouldn't be upset over the FACT that a customer doesn't like the nail design. YOU are PAYING YOUR MONEY to have your Service there,and also I could tell obviously she WAS RUSHING to finish; don't get me wrong she was asking me if I LIKED the nail SHAPE and I did see that my right index finger nail WAS NOT Filed right so I told her if she could fix it because the nail obviously didn't look right, my lift index finger was a little more bigger then my right index finger, she looked at it and filed it but she made it worst because know it was uneven I point that out because she did ask if it was oaky,and I showed her both my lift and right index fingers and compared how both were totally different and she all of the sudden got mad and cut off my right index finger nail, so she could restart it and she hurt my nail bed because she was using the buzzing machine[sorry don't now what's it called ]so fast and at some point it burned and from their she rudely explained to me that my finger was the PROBLEM because it was somehow crooked and last time I checked it wasn't, because I been getting my nail done here at this location ever since it opened and no other nail tech had EVER told me that my finger were crooked. Keep in mind that it was around 6ish almost 7 and it was almost closing time either she wanted to leave or she didn't like how I told her that I been to other nails salons and they never did this kind of remark. In all honesty I have never felt so uncomfortable in this type of situation because it never happened to me. And last of all when my nails was somewhat finish she didn't even bother to do the little massage right she was doing it so harshly[ the ones that are included when you get your nails done]she finished doing my mini massage ,and she sat there cleaning her nails with the same towel she used on me and she started to clean her own nails and she didn't even say you can go or anything nope she just sat there and made rudely remarks at me and I took the hint and I told my friend that it was time to go. Well they have Van... and VAN IS THE BEST!!! She has done my nails for about 13 years now and I will follow her anywhere. This place is super nice. I walked in on a Friday evening no appointment, they were super busy but got me in right away. I haven't been to a nail salon in 2 years due to poor sanitation and cutting me with the drill bit. It seemed very clean and professional. I had Tia as my nail tech and she made sure everything was exactly what I wanted. She also did not cut me. Tia did incredible I highly recommend her! read more

I've been a regular at this salon but the last two visits have been horrible. On 9/11 I went in and asked for gel mani and I wanted chrome. We'll the tech told me it needed to be nexgen for the chrome. That has been the MOST painful manicure. The tech cut me so much because she was filing my skin when trying to file the sides of my nail. Now today 10/4 (I called before heading to the salon to make sure there wasn't a wait), I go in to get a gel mani and I wait 25 mins and the tech comes to the table and I explain that I'm in a hurry and I've waited a while. That I just need to get the dip taken off at this point. So she walks away and goes back to her other client that I'm assuming she wasn't done helping. I ended up being there for over 30mins and didn't get anything done. The worst part is that I wasn't the only one to leave because there was another lady that had been waiting for a while. Hostesses were amazingly helpful and sweet. The technicians were very nice and good. The massage during my pedicure was amazing. They treated my kids (who got pedicures) great. This place stays busy so if your going for quiet, this is not the place. Reasonably priced. Only gave 4 stars because it is extremely busy and while I was not rushed, I felt like herding cattle was occurring around me. Especially for a Thursday afternoon. read more

I had my nails done for the first time at this salon. Ellie did my gel manicure and Brian did my gel pedi. From the moment I walked in the door, everyone was welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately I had a horrible experience here. Went in for a pedicure on a Thursday morning. Salon was already getting busy and had a slight wait. The nail tech I got never talked to me so I was unable to get her name. She cut my cuticle back so far in two places that it started bleeding. When it wouldnt stop, she sprayed it with alcohol which of course caused major stinging. I told one of the girls that came around to ask how things were going and she replied with okay I'll be back and never came back. I told the manager when I checked out about my experience and showed him my red swollen toe and he said sorry, I'll take ten dollars off. I have never had this happen to me before. I tried this salon because I recently moved and it was closer than my old salon. Will gladly drive farther and go back to my old salon. read more

Not my cup of tea. Tried them twice and got mediocre results each time. They are very crowded and while the front desk staff is friendly, the techs are not at all. My nails were not good when finished the first time and the second time they were just ok. For the money, I expect MUCH better! This is a very large establishment and you are treated as a number not someone they care to please. I went to Venezia and not my regular salon Bliss because I was near Venezia. I chose my color for Nexgen manicure. My lady was a little rough while doing my nails. She got the powder around my fingers and kept trying to scrape it off. I would ask her to stop and told her it was ok to leave it but she continued. It was actually painful because she had picked at it until it was tender. Ok, so finally I got out of there and just chalked it up to using someone new. Of course the color chipped and I return today to have it repaired. They sat me in a salon chair and left me there for 15 minutes. Never told me how long I would wait and just acted like I wasn't sitting there. I finally just got up and walked out. No one even knew. Lesson learned, stay with Bliss! read more

This nail place is by far the best in the area. I've been hopping around trying to find one that really goes above and beyond and this one does! From the minute you walk in the door, the people up front are so nice and overly helpful. The nail tech probably gave the best pedicure I've ever had! Not just the massage but EVERYTHING! I went in yesterday, and I never have short nails. And Christina convinced me that I needed to go short with nexgen because of the state of my nails. I trusted in her and although it was a complete shock I actually like it. I will be back for sure. This place is horrible they not only do not care about repeat business but they actually lie to you .. The first experience was amazing everything went perfect they even had an attendant on standby the majority of the time the second time I went I had to wait even though I had an appointment and instead of the same person doing my Phils and petty it had to be split between two people the third time I went as soon as they took my toenail polish off I saw a disgusting fungus right away the girl who is doing my nails told me that The person who did my pedicure apparently did not clean the tools properly and that I should probably go to my doctor because the fungus was so bad I had never had a fungus in my life so right away I called my doctor and asked if I can get in while I was there the guy that was doing my pedicure apparently had only been doing pedicures for a few days And because I wanted my nails cut a girl came over and cut my nails and my toes and drew so much blood they had to drain the bowl and refill it because she cut me so deeply once they saw that too much time had been taken on my pedicure not only did they not properly do my pedicure but they had to cut it short because they said cleaning the blood took too long . The girl that was doing my nails became frustrated and actually walked off doing my nails and they had to replace her with someone else then a manager came over and pretended like he actually cared when I got up and said I just want to leave they tried to hand me a gift card and pretended to be concerned yet as people were walking in the door they were addressing those people and talking to them so here it is three days later and I have to make an appointment to have my toenail removed because the fungus was such a strong Fungus that there is no particular way of treating this strand of fungi so I would suggest never going to this place that people are rude they are fake and they hire Asian beginners right out of school that don't speak English or understand what you want and then blame it on a language barrier read more

Honestly the best customer service and manicure pedicure I have ever received. The minute I walked in the door I was greeted with a friendly smile and assistance in picking exactly what I wanted since it was my first time here. As soon as I was done choosing my color the sweet girl at the front door asked if I was set and escorted me to my chair. Less than a minute and both of my techs were there. Both so sweet. I get awfully dry heels and I let her (Sam) know and she took great care of it! The nail color I chose would up being see through so she (Lauren) sampled a couple of other options to find the perfect color! Both manicure and pedicure came perfect! Zero flaws, and I am the girl that stares at everything and nitpicks. Both front door girls came to check how everything was going and if I needed anything.
