Updating my review as the quality has improved and if you order before 3:00 it's the best bargain for miles around. We ordered 5 meals and an appetizer for $43 and 7 people couldn't even finish half of it! So in a pinch with most business closed on the island we decided to order delivery from here and based on the reviews we expected some good Italian food. However, was not what we expected. Pasta was severely overcooked and all the dishes were swimming in oil. The eggplant parm was mushy and falling apart, the Alfredo didn't have much flavor and was soaked in oil. The shrimp fra diavolo was also swimming in oil but had a nice spicy flavor and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. The garlic knots were excellent. Overall if the pasta hadn't been so overcooked and the food wasn't saturated in oil I would give them 3 stars. The portion sizes were also generous. However, I doubt we will order from here again. read more

Prices are reasonable, but food is average at best. The Shrimp Scampi was drowned in sauce and very unappealing. House salad dressing seemed homemade and fresh. The big issue I had was their credit card policy. When I placed our order (it was about $40), the owner said "cash only" and pointed to an ATM outside the store. When I said I didn't have cash, my wife suggested we go somewhere else. Then he changed his tune. Little did I know that there was clear signage on the front door that they do accept credit cards. read more

This is a great little spot run by a nice family! The menu online was different price wise compared to when I picked it up. But a few dollars was worth it for how delicious everything was! I have ordered from here multiple times over the years. Never disappoints. Always give you enough food for 2 to 3 meals. But it's not just the quantity it tastes amazing. 2 entrees that come with salads and garlic knots and an order of rice balls (4) for $52 delivered. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. This filthy little kitchen is a joke and a disgrace to all true Italian kitchens all over the world. You have to be really bad to overcook the pasta on all 5 dinner entrees. The food was not seasoned. The gravy definitely comes from a giant can of crap from the restaurant depot. It is NOT freshly prepared. These bums couldn't even make salad. It was from a bag, wilted and dirty! I don't know why people come to this dirty little hole in the wall. We had never been there before and took a chance because they were open late, and it was close to our hotel. They also are not honorable people, because my family placed a large expensive order for all of us and the food was crap! We called them several times to make it right, but that worm of a manager kept hanging up the phone and dodging us like the POS he is. Everyone who likes real authentic Italian food, do yourselves a huge favor and go to Little Italy Restaurant on Atlantic Avenue in Wildwood. You won't be disappointed, I promise you. read more

Where do I start??? I rely on my fellow Yelpers and you did not lead me astray! I wanted a lunch because we will be going on a boat cruise later. I was in search of Italian. I read the stellar reviews and gave this place a try and boy was I thrilled I did! I'm a Yelper who loves a great value and delicious food. I ordered the meat lasagna special at the counter and the lady rang us up and also brought our food to us. They have about 10 or more tables but no waitress service. Works for me. Lasagna with meat sauce was . . . TO. DIE. FOR. Keep in mind I seldom order Italian food because it's usually pretty ordinary. The deep red sauce was quite buxom and hearty. Totally had to be homemade. There were chunks of delicious tomato and cheese in the sauce. Our lasagna was hot from the oven served in a round tin on a lovely generous bed of sauce. So flavorful. Better than my own homemade and that's saying something! Along with the lasagna was served a garlic roll. It was served in a small paper foil packet double wrapped. . . No no this isn't any garlic roll, it's sliced up bread, thick and bathed in a sea of butter, garlic, parsley and cheese! Hot damn!! I was speechless!! I asked for a spoon to be able to scoop up the sauce. Guess what?! I didn't need it. I used the nuggets of garlic bread as an edible spoon. Our meals were only 5.95 at lunch. It's a special from 11-3. At the seashore?! That's beyond reasonable. The owners are very friendly as well. As far as ambiance the place is old, but it has character and if you're there for the food- it's BANGIN!!! We couldn't resist the creative cannoli flavors. I got the "classic" and momma bear got the cookies n cream. We split them and they were incredible! I'm starting to change my mind about Wildwood too! That's a good thing! read more

Mainly because the guy at the front desk (who I'm thinking was the owner) and cashier did NOT wear face masks while we're in a COVID-19 pandemic surge. Unbelievable. The only person I saw wearing one was the cook, who's isolated in the back (which makes zero sense). The food was incredibly unremarkable. Soggy chicken Caesar salad with slimy, tiny chopped pieces of chicken. Chewy veal francaise with pasta and sauce that has absolutely zero flavor. How do you mess up spaghetti?! If you're looking for huge lunch portions at affordable prices, go here! They have delicious pasta options for their $6.49 lunch special and it's served with their homemade garlic rolls (which are delicious!!!) The portions are so large, I've eaten half for lunch and saved half for dinner... I've also split one with my child. Even my son, who eats a lot, could not finish the Crab Marinara over linguine. They offer delivery, but I have only ever done the take-out/pick up option. My food has never taken more than 15 minutes, even in the Summer! Updated: we are still going here years later! Fantastic food and lots of it for very reasonable prices. The garlic knots were a huge hit, the meatballs were delicious and the pasta was perfectly done-- very hard for take out. Easily the best takeout of our time in Wildwood. Why the three stars for five star takeout? The delivery person had no mask at all and was not at all aiming at social distancing as he worked on getting my card processed and I kept backing he up and there had been no way to pay ahead-- I did ask. I was so excited to try the food here based on the reviews I read. We come down from north Jersey every Memorial Day weekend and usually need one night of quick meals. We ordered two pies (one pepperoni and one 1/2 bacon). We also got wings. Delivery was timely and driver was friendly. The wings were pretty good. The pizza was disgusting. It was heavy, soggy pizza made with terrible quality cheese. Pizza cheese should have some consistency, chewiness and flavor to it. This cheese was smooth, gooey and bland. Of the 5 of us in my family, there wasn't one of us that liked it. Some of the tables were higher than average so dining with children would've been a challenge. Most of the regular tables were already taken so we had no choice but to do carry out. Regarding our orders, everything was well made within a reasonable timeframe, well packed, and was delicious. However, I find the Penne a la Carlo lacking crab meat. In fact, I didn't taste any hint of crab meat but found pieces that resemble imitation crab meat. The prices were reasonable but you get a lot more than what you paid for. The portion sizes are massive! One pasta dish (not counting the complimentary salad and garlic bread) can be shared amongst three adults! I would recommend this place for anyone looking for good Italian takeout food. With that said, expect takeout quality and not what typical Italian dine-in restaurants would offer. read more

My family and I ordered 3 lunch specials for take out this past Friday and we were pleasantly surprised by how much food we received as well as the quality of the food. For $6.50 plus tax, you receive one of a dozen pasta choices and some of the best garlic bread I've had. We ordered the Tortellini a la Carlo, Shrimp Scampi, and Crab Marinara and each of us had enough food for two meals. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauces were all flavorful. I dont know what you do to pasta to make it both stiff and gummy but that was our spaghetti w meat sauce --I ate all the sauce off of it. It tasted ok. Was not impressed. Stopped in last night for the first time, but it certainly won't be my last visit. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs, with a side of sausage. Both the meatballs and sausage had great flavor, the portions were huge, and the price was reasonable. Even the pieces of garlic bread were delicious. I can't say enough about the staff. Three summers ago I left a 5 star review. Carlo, the original owner, sold the business a couple of years ago and it hasn't been the same since. It is dirty inside and the food quality has really gone down hill. Actually, this year they are at the bottom of the hill. Tried to order a slice on three different occasions. First time was about 15 minutes before closing and was told the oven is off. Second time was an hour before closing and I was told they didn't have any more slices. 4th of July I stopped by at 8pm and was again told they didn't have any slices left. So at 8pm you're out of slices and not willing to make a pie? I did what I will be doing from now on and that is I walked a few blocks to Romeo's where there was selection of slices to choose from, all fresh. We miss you Carlo. read more
