Very misleading restaurant. The bread served before the meal tasted like it came straight from the supermarket. The risotto that accompanied the short ribs was undercooked. We sent it back to the kitchen, but it came back just as undercooked as before. The seafood in the Linguine Pescatore wasn't heated properly, so it was still cold when served, and the mussels had sand in them. For the prices this restaurant charges, we expected a much higher standard of food and preparation. Overall, we were very disappointed with both the quality of the meal and the value. read more

We had a terrible experience last night at Santorini. We came for the first time to kick off a long weekend with the family. As soon as our entrees arrived, the fire alarm went for 10-15 minutes straight. There was no communication from staff about our safety. We have a baby so we went outside to figure out what was going on. Only then did we learn from the firemen that it was a false alarm. Inside, staff continued operating as usual, despite the blaring alarm sound, so customers must have eventually reached the conclusion that there wasn't actually a fire. The fire alarm then went off an additional 6-7 times as we tried to eat. We had to take our daughter outside each time due the loud sound. We could not enjoy our meal at all under those circumstances. Staff bizarrely pretended nothing was happening, and a manager was nowhere to be found. Customers looked completely perplexed throughout the restaurant and a couple of tables left. Eventually, the alarms finally stopped going off. Once the check came, we asked to speak with the manager. The manager's first words were "it wasn't our fault." What? No one ever thinks that staff are responsible for a fire alarm and fire department visit, unless we see you actually pull the alarm. You are, however, responsible for how you manage a fire alarm, or any other issue that arises during your shift. That's part of the job of being a manager. We tried to explain that and encouraged him to make rounds to each table to acknowledge the awful experience. We also asked for 50% off the bill. He said there was nothing he could do because the owner was not there, which is just a terrible excuse. He remained defensive, didn't take responsibility, and was dismissive throughout the engagement. I admittedly had less patience and grace than my dad and wife, but the whole thing was so frustrating when we were just trying to enjoy our first dinner during a weekend family vacation. The manager eventually walked away shaking his head. The check arrived and it had a measly 10% off. We thanked the waitress and tipped her normally. It wasn't her fault that her manager doesn't know how to treat customers or handle a bad situation. There are dozens of better restaurants with more competent and respectful staff and that aren't clearly overpriced tourist traps. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time here. read more

Walked into this Mediterranean restaurant and immediately thought, "Ah yes... the Mediterranean Sea... also known as Italy." The menu was giving pasta, parmesan, and maybe a distant cousin of the actual Mediterranean. First things first: the bread. Soft. Warm. Fluffy. Honestly the kind of bread that makes you consider abandoning your life responsibilities and just living in a basket. And the butter? Elite. I was two bites away from writing it a love letter. The real MVP? Penne vodka. Get it. Trust me. It's the Beyoncé of the menu. Now, the truffle beef chops... listen. If the truffle was there, it was hiding, wearing camouflage, whispering from another room. Didn't taste it at all. The chicken parm was fine--like the guy in the friend group who's not the funniest or cutest but he's always there and you appreciate him. The place itself? Adorable. Cute colors, great vibes, and lighting that makes you feel like your selfies will come out 20% hotter. Second time at Santorini and it was excellent. Our waitress and wait staff were right on target. We had a reservation and they took us immediately. The food was so delicious. Our appetisers were grilled Octopus, shrimp and Spanakopita. The lemon sauce on the grilled Octopus was so good that everyone was dipping bread. The bread was also great. For dinner we had risotto with lobster and Moussaka. The flavours and sauces on both were fabulous. We topped it off with Tiramisu. Really enjoyed dinning here and the atmosphere was lovely. I want to preface this by saying that for well over 20 years I have owned in the crest. I have been to this restaurant at least 10 to 15X since it has opened. Didnt go last summer. Was very much looking forward to celebrating our 33rd wedding anniversary having raved to our friends how wonderful the food is at Santorini: their fresh, fish waxed poetic over the dish of feta&olives we while we decide what to order. Our waitress Shay, who was absolutely lovely, greeted us warmly. She offered us several choices of water & I chose the still. Not realizing at the time it was $7.95. A bit steep for water but my fault for not checking. I asked her if we could get a dish with feta cheese & olives. She went back to fetch our drinks, came back to say sorry no feta & olives are not available. They are only on the happy hour menu & can only be eaten at the bar. That seems just a bit silly as we were willing to pay for them. I didn't need a happy hour price, but that was the 1st refusal. We had questions on the menu many of their entrées either come over linguine or risotto. The risotto is the one thing that I have had there in the past that I did not care for. it is way too al dente for me. I was very much interested in what they called an asian sea bass special that came over linguine. I didn't want linguine I'm not a big pasta person. I asked her if they would be able to sub out the linguine for the roasted potatoes and add asparagus. she vehemently refused, said that there were absolutely no substitutions. one of the entrées that I was also considering was the short rib entree that came over truffle risotto. I told her that I did not like truffle, could I sub that for potatoes & asparagus, both of which are offered as sides. Also no. She said that we could only choose to not get risotto & pay for the additional sides. Which honestly seems kind of inflexible. Because of this instead of us getting entrées that were upwards of $42; I ended up ordering the crab and gnocchi. I've included a picture. It was utterly unremarkable. It is nothing that I would come back to this restaurant ever again to have. My Husband got the Bronzino which was also over $40 and came with no sides. While delicious, super pricey for just the fish alone. He was hungry so he ordered the Greek salad, also pictured. there was no lettuce in it whatsoever. It was just chopped cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, red onion, feta cheese, doused in a lemon & olive oil oil dressing. While it was tasty it was not your typical Greek salad that we have had at other very good Greek restaurants like Estia. When My Husband unenrolled his silverware which was wrapped in their beautiful shade of blue napkin, a big spider popped out. My friend went to the ladies room and said there were Beetles drinking water in the bottom of the ladies room sink. I'd like to point out that Shay was very attentive & following kitchen/ mngt rules, but the lack of flexibility & the price point of the entrées was so disappointing that I don't think we'll be back. I'd much rather go to a restaurant that says oh you don't want the pasta & you want the potatoes not a problem or it might be a $5 charge to do that as opposed to a flat out refusal, which then turned us, I was going to order appetizers. I didn't. I was going to order the nicest piece of fish that I could have so I had a nice dinner & I didn't. For any haters who think we punished the server, our bill came to $190 we tipped her $50. I'd like to point out to the mngt. that perhaps your policy & the kitchen staff needs to consider being a little flexible from time to time, because quite frankly if I were Shay, I would look for work elsewhere as w/us she could've had a check well over $300 as we would've ordered drinks, appetizers & dessert/coffee. that was the plan. Instead, we were turned off & disappointed. We ended up going somewhere else for drinks & dessert because of our disappointment in the inflexibility of the restaurant. I have never been to a good Greek restaurant & been told they would not sell you a plate of feta cheese w/ olives. Also, no hummus. Most do complementary w/ bread, which is usually pita this was some soft, sweet yellow bread, which the men enjoyed I did not think it aligned with the Greek theme maybe that's just me. OverallI Shay paid the price as She could've had a higher tip with a bigger check. Friends who came with us who were also put off by the inflexibility ended up both ordering chicken Santorini. They said it was OK.Moral of the story: you cando better w/ other restaurants on the island or in CMCH. We were disappointed, we thought we were going to celebrate wi/ an amazing seafood dinner at one of my favorite spots on the island. We probably won't be back or reccomend after this. read more

Valentine's Dinner 2026 very disappointing. $70 per person, there were eight at our table, dinner took two hours to arrive, no sides provided, when we asked the waitress for sides we were told to check their website...three of us had steak that was not the ribbon we ordered and was supposed to have roasted potatoes but they weren't ready so the provided a small plate of French fries instead for three people, three of us had mussels w speghetti, 7 shells with only three mussels...two had the fish which did not have any sides so 70 for just the fish!! I am so happy with our experience at Santorini! We were able to squeeze into a last minute reservation to sit up on the rooftop and enjoyed some delicious food and drink! Cute Greek-themed restaurant, I say themed because it's moreso of just a seafood restaurant with some Greek things (which weren't all available) and Greece-inspired decor. The crab ravioli and chicken santorini were very good and we finished with the chocolate mousse and a cappuccino. I wouldn't say the mousse was anything special. I hosted a rehearsal dinner for my son's wedding. There were 38 adults and 3 children at Santorini this past Saturday night. The owner, Nick was responsive to my emails which made me feel at ease since I now live in Florida. He worked with me to make this night special for my son Michael and his fiancé Elizabeth and the bridal party. The head waiter, Martin, was attentive and polite. Everyone raved about the delicious food and ambiance. I can't brag about Santorini enough. Even though there was a slight issue with the bill at the end of the night, Nick promised to make it right! It was a magical evening my family and bridal guests will cherish and talk about for months to come. You have to come down to Santorini if you care about great food and excellent service! I had the chance to dine on the 2nd floor of the restaurant on a beautiful night. My wife wanted to go to Beech Creek but we were not going to wait 90 minutes. We were able to get a table right away at Santorini. The good is good. Not great but good. I do t think you will be upset if you dine here. Here is the issue. I ordered a Grouper special. The fish came out on a bed of pasta with peas and cherry tomatoes. The dish also included four shrimp. I go to Florida 2-3 times a year and have learned that the world has enough Grouper to feed the country. It's a bland fish that needs a lot of help. Grouper is often used for fish sandwiches and sometimes even for fish/chips. When the bill came out and I saw they charged $47.95 for the fish I almost fell off my chair. Give me Halibut or Chilean Sea Bass for that price. It's clear people are not flocking here due to the prices and that is exactly why I was able to sit right away when the restaurant directly across the street had a 90 minute wait. read more

Let's start out by saying that the food is excellent. Really nice, clean restaurant. Here's my only gripe I left hungry. It is not overly expensive, but it is not cheap either. They could have beefed up on the sides. I got the lamb chops with potatoes and asparagus. There were three spears of asparagus and three potato wedges. It wasn't even a whole potato. Potatoes are not expensive by any means. I could've at least got a whole one. Would I recommend the place to somebody, yes. Just don't expect large portions. read more

The ambiance is amazing at Santorini. The place is so well lit up and the music is fantastic. The Scallops were cooked to perfection and left me wanting more. Delicious! The short rib with risotto was again cooked to perfection and was delicious. The wine list was a bit pricy with Cabernet at 11/glass and 24/glass for Farmsted but they too were excellent. Stay away. Not sure what else to say. This restaurant is poorly managed and the atmosphere is chaotic. The food was average at best. We had a reservation for a large group and it was not honored. We actually confirmed the reservation the day before. They where overloaded and numerous people where walking out because their reservations where not being honored or they where told it would take an hour before being seated. Santorini is a small but cozy restaurant just in the outskirts of wildwood..atmosphere is more Greek than anything else but okay in my book. if your looking for some decent Italian or Greek food it definitely is better than most of the places in the center of Wildwood.. daughter ordered the sacchetti Santorini which was the best dish in my opinion..it's little stuffed dumplings with shrimp and truffle sauce..wife ordered the risotto which was way over cooked, we sent it back and still came back over cooked..I got the flounder franchaise special which was great.. Service was very good and the waitress was very attentive to our needs..she was very understanding of the risotto being over cooked.. All in all I think it's worth stopping in to get some Good Mediterranean food whether u like Greek or Italian.. This is a harsh review, but this may have been the worst restaurant in which we have "dined". ALL of the food was mediocre at best. You know it's bad, when a Greek restaurant can't make a tasty baklava. (I threw it out) Service was terrible. We had a gent take our order. We never saw him again. My first time in wildwood and it only took 2 days to have my first decent meal. Well to call it decent is probably an understatement. This place is fantastic! Ambiance: a bit more than slightly upscale, but still casual nonetheless. Sort of the perfect mix of upscale for a resort town. For a Mediterranean restaurant, it genuinely feels feels Mediterranean. Like you are really in Greece. Crowd: everything from date night to small groups. Mostly dressed a bit nicer than a beach resort attire. Nice mix of upscale to casual. Service: all waitstaff are trained and professional and friendly. Perfect blend of great casual service. Even the bussers are professional in demeanor. Our server Anna was perfect. Wine: byob. Anna gave me an immediate heads up. Nearest wine store is only 3 blocks away. Plenty of time to place your order and take a short drive to grab a bottle. And no corkage fee! I only wish the nearest place had a better selection. But their prices were good. Food: nothing was anything less than spectacular! Seriously. I don't often say that. Everything was properly cooked and properly seasoned. I came here for dinner with my 17 yr old daughter, while my wife had to get some work done, so stayed back at the motel. Yes, I said motel. Probably the most expensive motel I ever stayed in, but nonetheless, a motel. But I digress. I informed Anna I would be placing a to go order as well. She timed it perfectly. But getting back to my daughter; she was treated with respect by everyone. She genuinely enjoyed herself. Plus being the youngest daughter of a foodie, she is quite the foodie herself. She rarely reaches across the table to try my food more than once. By my count, she reached across 5 times to reassure herself my meal was as good as I said it was. And I rarely order dessert. They have a crème brûlée cake. Not too sweet. My daughter initially promised to take at least a bite. We were cutting the last bit up to share, as we both loved it. I love Greek cuisine and Santorini is a special place to take the family and have a great dining experience. Tonight I dined their with my Dad and we had some great appetizers including the Octopus as well as the stuffed figs, both were great. For entrees we had the Shrimp Ravioli as well as the Fish of the Day Special and again the food was spectacular! The place is in immaculate condition with beautiful powder blue window treatments and an excellent staff of which our waitress was a lovely woman from Turkey who was courteous and very attentive to our service needs. Santorini is conveniently located on Rio Grande just before the outbound bridge to the Parkway and they have a large parking lot as well as an outside deck for cocktails on the second floor. If you're seeking something different and an eclectic menu as well as great bar offerings, Santorini while sounding Italian is actually part of the Greek Islands in the Aegean Sea. Some may mistake the name as Italian, but the menu has some outstanding Greek specials worth trying! We were lucky enough to get a reservation same day for 5 of us. The host team was incredibly accommodating and sat us on the outdoor deck at golden hour (incredible ambience) our server was incredible at selecting wines and making menu suggestions. We had the octopus, antipasto, artichoke & tzatziki, which were all fantastic. Especially the octopus! Our entrees were lamb risoto and the pasta special. They were spectacular. Ended the night with the bomba dessert and espresso martinis. 10/10 would recommend! We will be back. read more

Let me start with this was an overall very nice dining experience. The staff were friendly and attentive. As background this was my daughter's birthday dinner and upon recommendation of my In-Laws and prior review of the menu we decided to go here. Outwardly, I would avoid this place. It sits on busy Rio Grande right at the base of the causeway and it professes to be Greek/mediterranean on its sign. Although, that is available with some traditional dishes, they had a wide array of seafood and pastas. The 9 of us sat upstairs on their rooftop patio which was very picturesque with the sunset over the bay. I had a scallops and risotto dish that was delicious. The birthday girl had pasta (penne) with shrimp and she enjoyed it immensely. The draw back was when I ordered my traditional nightcap, an expresso martini. It did not hit the bullseye. In fact I'd say it was sub-par. The food and all the other drinks were outstanding. So, don't just drive by, stop in, I think you will enjoy it. I definitely plan to go there again on my next trip to Wildwood Crest. read more

Wow! I was absolutely blown away by our dining experience at Santorini last night! It was by far one of the best meals I've had in a long time! We are not from the area, and my boyfriend noticed the restaurant as we were driving by en route to our hotel. I absolutely adore Greece/Greek cuisine and have been to Santorini a couple of times...so I can be a tough critic! We were actually at a nearby tavern for an event and decided to make a late reservation for 9:45pm (Thursday night). Upon arrival, the restaurant was surprisingly not crowded, but I was very grateful that they still seated us! Our server was very kind and attentive - I sadly do not remember his name but we chatted for a moment and he is from Albania. The decor was beautiful and incredibly authentic! I kept saying how much it felt as though we were actually in Santorini! My boyfriend had a watermelon martini that he loved and I had a lovely sparkling wine (can't remember which one at the moment). For our meal, we started with the octopus appetizer and the Greek salad. I'm a huge octopus lover and order it almost every time I see it on a menu - I want to highlight this as an absolute MUST when dining at Santorini. It was truly one of the best octopus dishes we have EVER had the pleasure of savoring. For our main course, we shared the crab ravioli which was also incredible! I could have kept eating it. Overall, their menu has so many wonderful items - I wish I could have tried them all! I guess it simply means we will have to come back for more, hopefully sooner than later! This place is a great new addition to Wildwood. I Recommend getting a roof top table at sunset. Honestly worth it. Service was warm and friendly, a little slow like everywhere right now, so don't be in a rush, patient ! :) Food is okay, it's good, on the pricy side, but I don't really think the food is the sole reason why people go here. What's better then a BYOB restaurant down the shore. Everyone enjoyed their meals expect me. The short rib and lamb shack were so huge that my son's couldn't finish them. My husband got a fish special and wanted to lick his plate. We did have a few hiccups. My crab gnocchi had very little sauce with it. I wouldn't order it again. The octopus was a disappointment and overpriced! For the amount we paid for it we didn't get a decent amount of octopus. The service was phenomenal. As we were checking out, a sudden storm came through the area and we were sitting upstairs at an outdoor table. Things were blowing around but the staff were helpful and finished our visit inside.
