I was here in Friday. The place is beautiful but the staff lacks skills. I came in for a face wax (lip, chin, brow). Paid $20. And its Monday and I still have hair in my lip and scaring has formed in my chin. My chin is breaking out. My chin was not properly waxed. The first woman couldn't speak English. The second woman was way too rough. I will not be returning. I suggest that you find somewhere else to get waxed. read more

This place looks very nice and did a good job, but are way too pushy when it comes to extras. I would politely decline an offer but then they would keep on and on about how much I needed it. I was getting married that weekend and had my nails, toes and eyebrows done and I even paid for my bridesmaids so it wasn't like they were not getting money for it. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS ESTABLISHMENT. I visited Venice Nail salon with my 8 yr old daughter on Saturday, March 12, 2016, my 5th time here, my daughter's 3rd time.   Situation: the young lady who did my toes cut my big toe slanted (you could see the meat underneath the nail) and she cut my second toenail so far down that if I file it, I'm sure it will bleed...in other words there is just a nail over the nail bed but no real access nail anymore ( which I informed that she cut too low).  After she was done, I went to pay our $40 bill.  I asked if they would give me a $3 discount (THREE DOLLARS), because of her mistake, and me being DISSATISFIED with the service. They told me "no, we don't give discounts to adults".   Now, me being a recurring customer you would think the first thing she said is, I'm sorry. Or they would say sure or we will discount your next service. But, the owner of the salon came over and told me that she doesn't see a mistake and her girl spent an hour on my feet and she been in busi 25 years, just get out and Dont come back while raising her voice toe like I was a child. (All in front of my 8 year old) so because I was upset at this point my voice escalated as well.  I never threatened them but, they told me they were going to calk the cops on me (in front of my child) OVER A $3 DISCOUNT!!! They were really busy when I went... so maybe that explains part of bad experience. Got hit with a hidden charge at the end, and I had declined all extras. They rushed through the whole job. Before I even left, three nails were messed up. She made a big deal out of this, making it seem like I was responsible. But when she fixed them, she rushed even more, and the same nails were messed up in only a few minutes. It wasn't worth it to me to even try to get them fixed yet again. I went here for about a year, and I was always satisfied with my experience until I went to get my nails done for prom. I have told every person who has ever done my nails that I wanted tips but they needed to be somewhat short. I said the same thing to this woman as I have every other time, but she filed my nails all the way down to where my natural nail ended (after specifically asking for tips). I didn't want to start a problem (and I had somewhere to be afterwards), so I let it go. After further inspection I realized that not only were the nails extremely short, but they were also uneven. These nails were for my senior prom, and I was not going to leave them like that. The next day, I went back and very politely asked them to fix the nails. The woman at the front desk said that they were not uneven and that they were what I had asked for. I showed her how they were uneven and she had the nerve to tell me that I just had fat thumbs and that they would look like that no matter what. She then told me that the nail tech had commented about the length I had "asked for" in Vietnamese to all of the other workers. She thought that there was something off and did not have the courtesy to speak to me about it in English. I explained that I thought that there had been a misunderstanding and that I would like the issue remedied before my prom the next day. I was then told that the nail tech had been doing nails for 18 years so it was impossible that she could make a mistake (I've been alive for 18 years and I make mistakes all the time). I was then told that I could either pay full price to have my nails redone or they would call the cops on me. I never used foul language or threatened them in any way. Eventually a very kind woman redid my nails for free, but I will still never give this place my business again after witnessing their utter unwillingness to admit / fix their mistakes. I know multiple people who have had the same experience as I did. I have had some excellent technicians in the past, but because of this experience I will never return or recommend this salon. read more

Anybody that is concerned about time or likes to be able to come in and be seen after making an appointment should not come here. I have been a loyal customer for 3 years and they lost me as a customer on the last visit. Management is rude and not concerned about your lost time, the only concern is whether or not you're going to pay. They do not care about your business they made that perfectly clear to me on the last visit. I had a 6pm appointment for Sns nails and pedicure, this appointment was scheduled 2 weeks ago when I had my nails done last time. I was seated down for the pedicure at 6 but I saw my nail tech Jimmy go to a client and start on her nails. I asked Helen who was doing my pedicure to ask the owner Tony what happened. She came back and told me per his statement to either wait for Jimmy or leave and schedule another appointment.I waited until 7:15 for him to start on my nails. The manager/owner Mimi wife of Tony approached me with the scheduling book to show me that yes I had a 6pm but they also scheduled a 5:30 sns nail appointment too. She didn't apologize to me nor did she explain anything. I felt disrespected. The only reason I stayed and patiently waited is because I was going out of town early am. I do not recommend this nail salon, take your money somewhere else where you will be appreciated. I used to go to this place before they remodeled. I always had great service and my nails looked great. Went back yesterday for first time in a while and did not like the way my nails looked. Some were longer than others. I said I w as noted them short but past the fingertip. I didn't have time to get them redone, so made an appointment for today (next day). I come in and they tried to get me to see the same guy! I tried explaining to them what the issue was, and that's difficult when they don't speak much English. Then the manager came by and kept telling me my nails are fine and was putting them at weird angles to show that they looked good, but every time I out them how I see them, she'd move my hands and tell me not to put them like that. How the heck am I supposed to look at them then? I can't bend my hands that way normally! Needless to say, I won't be returning and was a waste of money. I agree with the previous two reviewers. They were so pushy with my daughter and I that it became really awkward. Even after we thanked them and said "No" over and over they would continue to say things like, "Are you sure you don't want your lip waxed?" Awkward!!! I have never had an issue with that in my life and I asked my daughter and she was like, "What?!! Seriously? You don't have any hair there!!!" Same thing... pressure to add this, pressure to add that. We had it done yesterday and I think she may have cut me because I have had pain on my big toe ever since. I'm hoping it doesn't turn in to anything bad. We felt so uncomfortable by the time that we left that I decided I will never go back there. I had a horrible experience at this salon on Friday. Not only did they do a horrible job on my manicure, but the woman spilled hot wax all over my dress. Instead of treating the stain properly, she kept rubbing it in and making it worse. My dress is ruined! And to top it off, they still made me pay for my mani/pedi. I liked that they offered gel nails, but it was rather expensive and the wait was long. Other than that I will not go back. The manager was not friendly at all and did not seem to have a good report with the staff...and it showed. The pedicure and manicure both seemed rushed even after waiting, and it was uncomfortable and definitely not relaxing. I have given this place so so many tries. But each and every time it never goes well. This place seems really understaffed. There is always a wait even when the place isn't busy at all. When I went in the other day, I waited about 30 minutes just to be seen when it was pretty much empty. I didn't mind the wait. The lady I had just ruined it all. She literally rushed doing my nails so fast I was shocked. I asked her to even slow down and if she had some where she had to go. All she said was "no I'm just tired". She didn't even give me a manicure when I asked. I still had dry and hang nails at the end. She was clipping and filing so fast my fingers were hurting and the filing ended up being all uneven. I called the manager once I got home told him what happened and agreed to come in to get them fixed. Once I got there, you guys, the nail lady started talking rudely to me saying 'they're not uneven you're just expecting too much' then mumbling under her breath.. even my friends said they didn't look good. I just wanted a small fix it wasn't even a big thing. She was so rude the entire time and being sarcastic trying to embarrass me. She was like 'I can't believe you told my boss that I didn't do well that's just rude. You just didn't know what you want blah blah'. The other people were staring in confusion at me as well at her tone. After she was done "fixing" them, she literally left me at the table with filing powder over my nails and arms and yelled 'done, bye.' then got up and left. I asked her to wipe off the powder and clippings and put on a top coat on and she said no unless you want to give me $10. I am not even exaggerating she was being wild. So I told the manager what happened and he said she fixed it and to just pay the $10 and go. He didn't even care about the customer service, let alone apologize for her mistakes and rudeness. I was just telling him, you guys, I was so polite, and he was just saying 'yea i understand and go to a different nail lady next time but just pay me your $10 or I'm gonna call the cops'. At this point I'm like why am I being attacked for simply stating a complaint. This situation should have been handled so much more professional. These are the most unprofessional and rude people I have ever encountered anywhere. I'm just going back to Atlanta to get my nails done. I should have listened to my other friends and reviews and never have gone back. The customer service there is so below acceptable. The nail artists do not need to have a job where they have to interact. Just a complete mess of a visit. I feel that is it important that I share my experience with everyone about Venice Nail Salon in Snellville GA. I have no personal issue with this nail salon or anyone that works there. I recently visited this nail salon to receive SNS. The young boy at the front desk was unprofessional but I didn't give that any attention. While I was getting my services done I noticed a sweet elderly lady sit next to me to also receive SNS. I noticed that the elder's right thumb nail had recently bled before coming in for her service. The nail tech asked her about it but did not clean the nail or ask the lady to wash her hands. Her entire service was done without being asked to wash her hands. She even used the drilling tool to clean her bloody nail. So now I'm noticing that the nail tech did NOT put on any gloves during her service nor did she take the time to disinfect the nail. So now I'm thinking about the many times they have dealt with an infected nail and proceeded to use the SNS dipping powder! My nails look fab by the way but I will not be returning. I had a great experience the first time I went. It was clean and the service was friendly. But today my sister and I went back for a mani pedi and the service was completely different. The woman who did my sister's nails was named Lynn..Well Lynn was rather rude in general. She kept yanking my sisters hand and rolled her eyes and was being overly aggressive. So after the torture, my sister and I were having a conversation while drying our nails. But unfortunately we were interrupted by Lynn about 6 times asking my 15 year old sister to pay. She kept saying "are you going to pay?" well obviously we were but our nails were not dry!!!!! She had the nerve to keep touching my sisters wallet and insisting to get the debit card out herself. It was rude and unacceptable and my 15 year old sister politely handled the situation by kindly saying "yes I will pay when my nails are dry." Yet Lynn kept coming over while she was doing someone else's pedicure to ask for the money...Next time I go back(if I go back) I'm requesting anyone except Lynn!!!!!! read more
