Everything in the menu is at 50 % They say it is 3 beer for the price of 1 So, With the discount a total of 42 $ for our meals But , they charge 20 % gratuity on the TOTAL bill which was 104 $ because they add the regular amount on the bill ( exemple, 6 beer at 10 $ + 18 + 26 ) So we end up with a bill at 42 $ but 21 dollars of gratuity ! I came to eat with a friend who flew to visit. The food was okay, service was slow. We asked for a burger to go, I specifically said no cheese or bacon because my husband cannot eat bacon or cheese due to religion reasons. They gave me a burger with cheese and bacon and I had explained that I ordered without because of my husbands food restrictions. They gave us a new burger which I was really thankful for, but nothat we now opened at home, and there were still pieces of cheese and bacon on the burger. He had taken a few bites before realizing and when I called the apparent "owner" didn't want to help me and told me to call another time. I'm disappointed as I'd like a compensation for this mistake. My family and I went to this restaurant because we were walking on the Hollywood boardwalk and the host told us kids eat free and there was a happy hour "deal", which we later learned was just how the restaurant normally operated from 7 am to midnight. The service was terrible to the point where I've never written a review before or thought about tipping under 20%. The waiter mumbled to the point where we all had to ask "huh" after everything he said. After that the waiter checked on us twice in over a hour and a half, we couldn't get our buy one get one free second drink until 20 minutes after we finished our meal. After this I was prepared to tip 10% for the first time in my life, only to learn that the check came with 20% gratuity already on the check. I did some research and learned everything was legal as they had written at the very bottom of the menu that this is the case. The food was mediocre and nothing special, they are stingy about every little thing, not even wanting to bring a ketchup bottle. The scenery was nice as it was right next to the beach. I would not recommend this place if you want to be able to have a regular restaurant experience where the wait staff even half cares about the service they provide. Our server was Samuel and I hope no one else has to deal with him. Good luck anyone who dares eat there. read more

Wandered here after walking the Hollywood boardwalk. All of the service was very friendly and the musician made for a great vibe. Portions are large, food is just okay for the most part. Nice ambiance, more upscale than some of the other nearby spots but still very relaxed, and located right on the boardwalk for ocean views and people watching. Christopher the owner and the whole wait staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was great and honestly exceeded my expectations. We got the calamari which was well seasoned and crispy, the prosciutto pizza (they have a cool looking wood fire oven), and the Branzino which was really well prepared and tasty. Ordered a total of three food items: Fried Calamari $ 19.00- Small portion of calamari rings only (no tentacles), saggy and chewy. Zero crispness and zero flavor. There supposed to be some marinara sauce served with it but instead some sort of mayo based "sauce" was served. Garden Salad: $ 15.00 - Mixed greens (likely the same "Spring Mix" found for sale at the supermarket), unattractively plated and with many macerated leaves. There should have been onions, but none were found. Classic Hamburger: $ 26.00 - Two small and very dry paddies (requested temperature was "medium" served as extra well done) Saggy thick fries drenched in oil. On ordering we asked for "No Onions" with the burger. Needless to say, it was served with onions. In general, the service was slow, inattentive and scattered. Kitchen timing was off. We asked to have the entire order processed simultaneously and served together. After waiting at least 20-25 minutes, the calamari and the salad arrived first. We than waited some more until we had to call the server to check whether or not the burger order was given to the kitchen. Even to receive the bill we had to wait longer than we should have. There didn't seem to be anyone in management around and if there was a person on the floor, he/she never approached our table or other tables in our proximity. The total bill was over $ 80.00 including 20% gratuity that was automatically added. In exchange for this considerable amount of money we received zero value and walked away feeling stunned by an extremely poor experience. read more

And, if you order their 2:1 drinks, you pay mandatory tip on the price of both drinks before the price of the second drink is removed from your bill.
