I live a few blocks away and have a planned trip to Japan for a few weeks so wanted to get travel ready so I chose Venice Soleil and I am happy to report it was a great experience and they all did a wonderful job. It is a bit expensive, but worth it given the service and location. Inside is very relaxed and clean and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves as well. Street parking is pretty easy to find, but they also have 2 spaces in the alley behind the business. I chose a mani and pedi and chose the works for the pedi. It came out to be $90 for the mani and $65 for the pedi. The mani was a special one, though, they gave me a foot bath bomb, fresh coconut, very long massage, steamer, and all sorts of things. They were very attentive to detail and just did a great job. I was there for over an hour, so it really felt like great pampering experience before a long trip. I would highly recommend this place and will be back again in the future. Soleil is a convenient, by the beach location with about a dozen stations for manicure/pedicure and a complete lounge upstairs for massage. Yesterday I received a manicure/pedicure and a brief leg and shoulder massage. The breakdown of the bill was sketchy, as it cost $138 dollars plus a $10 cash tip for both women who did the manicure and pedicure. Everyone is nice, but the language barrier is a problem. Paying is quite easy, but the hand receipts are confusing and they don't show you the prices and too much upselling. The place is well maintained and is pet friendly right on the corner of Washington & Pacific. Either my pricing was wrong, or not explained, but $138 for manicure, pedicure and chair massage seemed excessive. The pricing needs to be clear and obvious which it is not. I would recommend the quality of work, but the pricing needs to be better clarified to the customer. read more

This woman is incredible I have done Reiki all over Los Angeles and she seems to be the most intuitive person I've been to First of all the beginning massage felt like you were being taken care of deeply by a very caring, mother figure Her energy really carries that in her touch Halfway through the session, she told me about a few things that she picked up on. I'm not talking about just physical things but emotional things as well ...and she was dead on I mean spot on. There's no way she could have known the things that she said at any given point in my life and she nailed it right on the head. I feel like a weight has been lifted and I can't wait to see her again. i just celebrated my 30th by getting a couples massages and cupping done at Soleil. I feel compelled to make this review because the experience was so great. I had the best time!!! The whole staff was very friendly and thorough. My boyfriend made the reservations and we let them know when we arrived it was my birthday. We came early so we enjoyed the beach in the meantime. Once we went to our appointment we enjoyed a foot soak, neck wrap, fruit, and tea. Julie and Eiran were the best. Eiran took care of me, she said it was like working out rocks out of my back but let me tell you in an hour she worked everything out. My boyfriend and I do not treat our self in this way very often and being at soleil made us consider an annual trip. I wanted to do something new for my wife's birthday, so I booked a couple's massage at Venice Soleil Nails & Spa. Downstairs is the nail salon while the spa is upstairs (stairs only, no elevator). They have a small free private parking lot behind the building, but there's street parking and parking lots in the area in the event it's filled. We were greeted downstairs and led up the stairs to the private covered balcony to unwind. They provided fruit, hot ginger tea, water, warm towels and a foot bath. Quite the start for a massage! That ginger tea hits the spot! Our masseuses came and dried our feet, giving us foot massages in the process. We were then lead into a private conjoined room where we got under the covers and enjoyed a 90 minute couple's massage. I didn't know which massage to order when I booked online, so I got us the Swedish massage. We both have very stressful work lives, so needless to say we both were wound up pretty tight. The massage was just fantastic - the masseuses were both active listeners and really worked their magic! Afterwards, we glided to the reception area and enjoyed coconut water, nut bars and roses. Very Poorly Run Place. I asked how much for a gel manicure and the man behind the desk says $17. I knew that was wrong so I had him repeat it which he did. I later found out he is the owner of the Spa. I proceed getting my nails done and the tech doesn't soak my existing polish for long enough and ends up WAY over filing my nails. I kept trying to tell him to stop filing since my nails are already weak, but he speaks NO English. Super frustrating. It took well over an hour for a simple gel manicure- which could have been ok if the massage chairs worked, but they don't.. When I checked out the younger guy behind the counter tells me it's $50. I told him had I known that and how long it would take I would've done Gel X to make my nails stronger. He tells me he can't do anything about it the price. Really? Ugh. Also they play very loud Latin dance music which is an odd choice for a salon that's meant to be relaxing. The whole experience felt a bit third world to me. read more

We came to Venice Soliel because we saw so many amazing reviews for the couples massage. We decided to try the 60-minute Cupid Couples massage and it didn't disappoint! I highly recommend arriving early especially if your appointment is on the weekend since parking in Venice can always be a pain. The business has a few parking spots around back, but none were available when we arrived. Your other options are to park on Pacific or in the paid beach parking lot at the end of Washington. When we arrived, we were guided into a small room where we had champagne, fruit, and chocolate sauce. They also brought us some neck warmers and rose water to soak our feet in. We then went into the room for the massage. Erin and Julie were amazing. They worked on our focus areas and were really knowledgable. After the massage we felt great and were given a fresh coconut, more champagne, and a granola bar. Overall, such a great experience! We look forward to coming back :) read more

A 90 minute, shiatsu massage costs $175 bucks per person (couples massage). See receipt attached below. Venice Soleil offers multiple services, but we only used their massage service. For the couple's massage, they sent us to the second floor where we were then directed to a small room with two chairs as well as some fruit, tea and a small bottled water (see photos attached). Then, two masseuses came in, washed our feet and requested more information as to what our expectation was, and if there was a target area that we wanted them to focus on. We were then led to another room with two massage tables with rose petals on them (that was nice-but shortlived). The massage itself was excellent. I am happy that the masseuse listened to me and gave me more of a deep tissue massage (because that's what I needed at the time). After the massage concluded, we were moved to the lobby area of the second floor and given coconut water and nutrition bars (since I don't drink alcohol, they gave us this as a substitute). Attached is a photo of what they gave us. We tipped in cash and then went on our merry way. The location is within walking distance to the Venice pier and beach, and each person I interacted with had excellent customer service skills.
