Affordable, decent vehicle but the driver last night was horrible! He was constantly shouting at every stop on the airport route, honking like crazy, driving aggressively to the point that I felt pull on my lap seatbelt, aggressively braking unnecessarily . Then at the end of the ride while singing along loudly to his Christian and old school music so it was tough to rest with earplugs in, he basically demanded tips from everyone just for barely doing his job. He was so rude the entire time. I wish I remembered his name to file a complaint with the company. It was a 7:30 pm flight back from LAX on 7/2. I've actually used this company services multiple times, but they always say takes one bad apple to spoil the bunch. I was coming back from LAX on the shuttle service and the guy that picked us up. Was watching TV on his phone and literally driving like a maniac he almost got us in. I would say five accidents with cars honking at us him slamming on his brakes, him cursing at people this guy was out of control. He literally was going almost 85 mph on the freeway and then when we got on PCH, he was going 10 miles over the speed limit and then at 25 mile hour zone where there's construction he was going about 55 mph. Worst and scariest driver I have ever been in the car with!! Speeding and tailing people in the fast lane, swerving and changing lanes with no blinker, has almost hit 3 people. The ride was overall fine, although the shuttle was quite warm. At the end as the driver was getting our bags out, he said "remember why your fair is so cheap, because they pay us like sh*t". When we began to get a wallet out of our bags to tip him, he began saying "I hope you don't treat your waiters like this." Then went into the drivers seat. I know people have had problems retiring for LAX, but we only went from Ventura to the airport and that was a smooth and easy ride. The driver was there on time (pick up at the Four Points Sheraton). We made one stop at the Oxnard airport and then it was an hour and a half to the airport. It was a weekend, though, so no traffic to speak of. The service was derelict in their responsibility to their patrons. I paid for the Shuttle service thru phone service and booked both departure and return trip with Shuttle service, $100.00 for ride and 20.00. Tip, 120.00, 3 weeks at least before my trip. The driver on departure trip told all passengers to meet at ground transportation on return orange side and that the service wouldn't leave airport without us. Well the left me hanging 5/20/24 at designated spot and when I did finally see the shuttle he was dropping off. He was very rude and didn't bother to tell me I could catch the 9:30 shuttle. Booked the 4:30am shuttle from Ventura to LAX. The bus arrived promptly on time, check in was smooth, got to the Oxnard Airport on time, and then to LAX at normal traffic speeds. Our driver was kind and helpful at every stop, being that we also had a full bus. For the Ventura folks, there is a bench with the Airport Shuttler logo visible to the left of the entrance, near the parking gate. Can't miss it. On the shuttle as we speak. Waited at LAX Terminal 3, got picked up at 3:38pm on a Friday. Which is on schedule, not early or late because the shuttle is supposed to arrive at terminal 1 at 3:30 Driver came out and yelled, "VENTURA, OXNARD, AIRPORT", which was nice because I was behind a pillar and may have not been able to see the shuttle. He had to stop 2 buses back since they were blocking him. He put my bags in the back for me and I went inside. Bud looks fairly new, and seats 13. I didn't reserve so paid driver $50, which includes a $5 fee for something. Also tipped him $5 for yelling outthe shuttle so I could hear him since I didn't see him. He notified me that if the bus was fully reserved, I would not be able to ride. Luckily, the bud was pretty empty. We our done stopping with all their terminals by 3:45pm and on our way home. Starting November 1, driver notified us that: - Oxnard location will change to Oxnard airport. - hourly pickup shuttles rather than current every 2 hours. Seat belt works, but you have to pull it very slowest or else it will stop pulling out prematurely. Update: took PCH which was a pleasant surprise over the 405. View was great! Two stars because the driver to LAX was very kind and a good driver, if I could stop there it would be 4 stars but... Driver from LAX was rude and anxious all thru the airport. And to the surprise of everyone on board announced that the freeway is too dangerous to drive so we'd be taking PCH. According to Apple Maps the drive would have taken an hour and 10 on the freeway. PCH took us an hour and 45 minutes. Ridiculous to have an airport shuttle driver who's afraid of driving on the freeway. The driver loaded and unloaded our luggage , was helpful in telling us which side of the vehicle had the view of the ocean, and we didn't have to deal with the traffic on PCH. I always use this service and book my flight keeping the VC Airporter schedule in mind. Here is the problem, safety measures are being ignored here. A few passengers picked up in Ventura complained of their seatbelts not working. (including me) We informed the driver and he said at his next stop (Oxnard) he would assist us in "buckling up" When we arrived in Oxnard, I asked again for his assistance as did others. He tried, and couldn't help 3 of us get these seatbelts working. I'm 72 and nervous about riding in an unsafe situation in LA crazy traffic. . The sign in the front of the bus says "Please use Seatbelts provided for your safety". So the 3 of us tried but we're unsuccessful . The driver was very nice and helpful in trying to fix this situation. So, question here.... Who is in charge of the safety and well being of the riders? HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE After a 15 hr flight we waited for the VC Shuttle as it drove by and failed to stop on level 4 shared ride orange section 4. After calling the main line, the driver came back around and stopped and then proceeded to yell at us and tell us we were lying and that he did stop, while yelling at us at the pick up site. The driver even saw my dad and did not turn around to pick them up. Ummm what? Shuttle came on time. I was being picked up at Oxnard airport. I was worried because it was dark in this location but the shuttle came on time and took my bag for me, gave us an update on time, coordinated with everyone riding the shuttle on the tops at the terminals. The driver even explained to those riding back from LAX how the shuttle pick up works. I was pleasantly surprised with this ride! The ride was smoothed, he had relaxing music on, and he even kept us updated on traffic and warned us of bumpy parts on the 405. For $55 one way. Can't be beat! read more

I have used this service from and to LAX while attending a meeting at the Four Points Sheraton in Ventura. This will be the 3rd time using this service. I got into LAX early but was unable to take the earlier shuttle as it was full. There is no way to call the company on the weekend, which I would have done to reserve a spot as I could see online when I arrived that there were still spots available but not by the time the shuttle got to my stop which was one of the last. It would be great if there was some customer service on the weekend to handle last minute requests and to let riders know if the shuttle is running late. The shuttle was running 20-25 minutes late from the scheduled pickup time. The return to the airport a few days later was on time and no issues. Drivers are pleasant. The shuttle is clean and makes good time taking into account typical LA traffic. It is a very economical way to travel as other services and UBER are much more expensive. More most important critique would be to have some sort of customer service to handle calls and concerns on the weekend or after hours. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I had a 630 departure from Ventura. The driver showed up 15 minutes late and it took another 10 to load the bus. He then drove to Oxnard airport where he was already late and no one was there. We still waited 10 minutes at the oxnard airport. We didn't even leave the Oxnard/Ventura area until 7:30. We ended up getting to LAX around 9 am. I figured that getting on the 630 shuttle would have been early enough, if I didn't have TSA precheck theres no way I was going to make my flight. Also the driver was very unprofessional and he drove like an ass, cutting over the double yellow lines in the HOV lane multiple times. The day I was supposed to be picked up my flight was a little delayed. I had scheduled a pickup of 2:45 pm. I was at baggage claim at 2:35. I called the number on their website and asked them to tell the shuttle to wait for me that was grabbing my bag. The lady on the phone was really RUDE and said "if you're not at the pickup point when they drive by, they're not waiting." Overall this shuttle service is extremely overpriced, and they expect you to still tip the driver. I ended up finding online that I could have paid for 2 weeks of parking near LAX through 3rd parties for as low as $4 a day. Do not reccomend, horrible customer service and overpriced. Ventura county airport shuttle save me stress, money and time. My son flew in from the East Coast during the holidays. His flight came in during my work shift, therefore I was unable to pick up. Rather than asking another family member I called for a last minute pick up from LAX. It just so happened the LAX pick up was during one of our storms. I was very grateful this service was available. Not only did it save me from leaving work early, but it gave me time to prepare a meal for him when he arrived. It just so happened, his flight was delayed three times and the nice person on the receiving end was helpful by extending his pickup each time we were notified his trip was delayed. I'm on the airport shuttle as we speak right now headed back from LAX. During my whole trip, from one airport to another, I had no issues bringing back my box of donuts that I had sealed in a box... for my boys. They don't have these in California, so I wanted to bring them a nice treat. The lady who picked us up was absolutely RUDE! She refused to let me bring my donuts on the bus even though they were sealed and I wasn't going to eat them. She wouldn't even let me set them in the trunk! She finally let me put them in my luggage but by the time I get home, they will be squashed! I'm never again going to recommend or use this shuttle unless they retrain their employees to be more courteous and have MORE COMMON SENSE! Lady, I was NOT going to eat the damn donuts! I have ridden the Airporter several times per year for many years. The Airporter provides a great service for Ventura travelers. The new buses are comfortable, run on time, and the cost of the trip is reasonable. I wish there were more runs on the schedule (hourly through the day would be great!). We just need more west county folks to get out of their cars and ride the Airporter so we can get more runs. read more

Rip off they say 47.00 for one way but charge you 57.00. I scheduled a pick up at 730pm never showed up. J was there at terminal 1 at 725pm and waited for 20min before calling to find out what was going on the dispatcher said he was in terminal 7 and tha I would have to wait till 930pm pick so I waited in in the rain. I made sure that I was there early and at 935pm they showed up. So I know I was not late for my ride at 730pm pick up. Don't waste your money they are a complete rip off. I used the shuttle service one way from LAX to Oxnard. The online booking was easy to use. You will not receive a "ticket" but you will be emailed an invoice showing you paid. The website states the pick up time beginning at terminal 1. My ticket time was scheduled for 5:30pm and I was picked up at terminal 2 at 5:28pm. Make sure you are at the pick up place early so you don't miss the shuttle! The shuttle was comfortable and I was able to charge my phone. Overall the ride was good. The driver took back roads, I assume because of traffic on the 405/101, and took the 1 back to Oxnard. I would definitely use the shuttle again. read more
