Ventura County Computers has provided tech support for our school for the past three years. We are very happy with the quality of service they provide and especially with their responsiveness whenever we have a problem. Both Rick and Toby are ready, able and willing to walk us through the complexities of keeping our entire system in good working order! They quickly handle any issue that comes up. Additionally, Rick has provided and maintained a complete computer work area for our students with multiple computers. He makes changes as we need, moving computers and running all the cables and almost always without a complaint. Last, but not least, Rick offers a computer course to our Middle School students - at no charge. He has taught them many of the intricacies of the computers and they have been able to take apart and put back together (successfully) both PC's and laptops. read more

They work fast and their pricing has always been very fair. When I couldn't find the last backup on a Quickbooks file, I dropped off my laptop at Ventura County Computers. After reading the reviews I thought I would try them out. I brought it in around 10am and it was ready for pick up at 5pm. They fixed the problem with my QB's file, cleaned the garbage off the computer and replaced the 10 yr. old hard drive with a solid state drive. My laptop is faster and the apps open quickly, all for a very reasonable price. VCC guys, you did a super job and give your doggy a belly rub form me!! read more

My Dell laptop recently failed due to a motherboard port disconnection and Dell sent a tech to replace the motherboard (under warranty). The computer worked for about a month, long enough to go out of warranty. I took it to Ventura County Computers and they were courteous and efficient. They fixed the problem(s) that day and everything is working well. I also found out that they sell computers so I will be going to them for my next purchase. I highly recommend them. read more

These guys rock! They managed to install a new LCD video cable in my old netbook even though the cable I ordered wasn't exactly like the original one, requiring extra effort and patience on their part. My little old antique is up and running like new, They took their time with it and only charged me for an hour. Top notch service. Highly recommend them for computer repair. I had taken my computer to a computer repair place in Ojai and they said it was not fixable (touch pad was inoperable). I thought it was hopeless but then I took it to Ventura County Computers. I am not sure how, but they fixed my computer without a hitch. Even more impressive was their knowledge of back up systems. Great experience working with VCC!! I was having issues with Photoshop crashing and memory storage. Rick and Michael came up with a plan and began implementation. Now, I can continue to use my upgraded computer instead of purchasing a new one. All issues have been taken care of..
