After such a great experience and even better customer service/personal interaction the first time I visited Ventura Fix, it was an easy choice when I realized my phone needed another repair. The screen was replaced on my iPhone 6 Plus in April of this year, but due to an aftermarket battery previously installed by someone else (‍) the whole left side of my screen was raised and separated from the rest of my phone. I *shamefully* walked in at 5:50 and Josue stayed until 6:30 to get my phone to the perfect state its now in! It's clear that he knows exactly what he's doing and enjoys doing it. I love this place even though Jose, the owner and expert at fixing phones moved down to USA cellular at 1816 east main street. I had 2 phones already fixed by jose which was my S8 and Note 9 both with a crack LCD. Hands down he has one of the best rates for pricing compared to other stores . He's also fast at what he does. First time I went there some of his competition was dropping phones of his customers for him to fix. If that doesn't tell you his expertise than I don't know what. Also if you plan on using Jose's service as of the last time i used his service he is currently only available around 2pm and on. He also gave me the lowest price in the area, and said he'd be done in about 10 minutes. So I stopped by later in the morning and gave the phone to Jose. He remembered what price he quoted me for, and said he'd be done in a few minutes. My gf and I walked down the street to a coffee place Jose suggested and by the time we got back (about 10 minutes), the phone was done. The phone was up and running with a brand new battery. José is a really nice guy who does good work at a reasonable price. I called because I had my iPhone X screen replaced at a similar type of shop in NYC on a recent trip and they obviously didn't install it correctly. It was acting up, going black during calls while I was trying to access other apps, etc. I dropped the phone (lightly) and the screen popped out of the phone body. José had me bring it in and he was able to CORRECTLY re-install the screen. Now the phone works perfectly. I watched him work and I could see his attention to detail and that he was making sure to carefully and properly follow all of the protocol for screen installation (which I had researched). Nice guy but had a horrible experience. Was sent home with a what I was told was a working computer he told me to back up and return the following week to fix a part. Computer never turned on. Got days behind on work that piled up. Go back to fix cpu with the part that arrived. He backed up my cpu and put everything on the new drive and it was missing an extremely important file. Couldn't explain it, couldn't find the important file. I had to take my computer to LA where I know a good cpu repair place and I was told I was being sent down to LA with the original hard drive for him to help recover the missing file. However I drove all the way down to LA to find out I was sent down with the NEW drive with the missing files. Now I tried using my external hard drive which worked fine before I left it with Ventura fix and now that's no longer working. A very bad experience all around for me. read more
