I love Ventura's! The staff are always so friendly, the food comes out hot, fresh, and quick, and it's all delicious. It's also pretty reasonable, $25 dollars for the 2 taco lunch special and a chicken quesadilla. On this visit to Ventura's we both ordered the Chiles Relleno plate. They were good, but not as good as what we ordered in the past. We had a great time at Ventura's! We stopped in last minute after handing out candy for trick or treat and they even had a bowl of candy out for people. It's a smaller space, but a good amount of the tables were filled. Service was fast and very friendly! They did accidentally give me the wrong burrito, but they were very apologetic (it was not a big deal at all) and they had the right one to me within 3-5 minutes. One of our go to spots for Mexican food in Milwaukee, especially in bay view! We've only ever ordered to go but the staff seem very nice. The food is so good and you get so much! We tried Ventura's food truck at the Shorewood Feast and Street Festival recently. Both the Chicken Taco and the Pastor (pork) Taco are flavorful. The Bisteck Ala mexicana plate with steak is even tastier, although the meat had some chewy parts that we had to spit out. Great experiences with both outdoor dining and take-out. Service is fast and the food is so tasty. The Mexican taco dinner is classic and delicious. My favorite is the steak tacos. The burritos are a good size. The rice is good and the beans are incredibly flavorful.
