Had a great experience dining in at Las Gardenias. It is an upscale and intimate restaurant with delicious authentic Mexican cuisine . The staff was very kind and attentive, which we appreciated. My passionfruit cocktail was really good and I love that they serve chips&salsa to start. I tried two different tacos off the à la carte menu in addition to a side of rice. Although they are a small serving size, everything had excellent flavor! I'm excited to visit again to try other menu items! Would recommend

This spot is so amazing, such a cozy and romantic vibe. Parking is not fun, though. The food is delicious, I don't think I've ever had a homemade corn tortilla this good. The frozen house marg was good, very strong. I love how they have THC drinks. The bistec and la costra tacos were HEAVENLY. The Mexican rice was also very good. I can't wait to come back and try more of their menu.

I've been wanting to try this restaurant for weeks, I called and they had same day availability. It's more of a Fine Mexican restaurant with great staff and wonderful ambiance. They have very authentic dishes. Erik our waiter was awesome and lead us in all the right directions. Highly recommend the tacos, birra pollo, bistec and sueno de jamaica cocktail. I can't wait to go back and try their lunch menu!

We tried this New Mexican restaurant located next to Aperitivo today just to check it out and the food was quite flavorful. We began with the chips and salsa (on the house - yay!) which was delicious and tried the 3 taco plate which hit the spot. My only "complaint" is that there isn't much of a variety of vegetarian appetizers or entrees. Otherwise, good, tasty food and a cocktail menu to try next time we stop by. A bit pricey, but not exorbitant. There's a small and cozy patio on the south-facing area of the building, which should be nice for an evening meal and/or drinks. Attentive service too.

We were excited to try this new restaurant just blocks from the public market. It's nicely decorated inside and cute in the patio area. I might have not seen it, but they should really have a sign letting guests know it is extremely loud and screechy outside when a train goes by. I wouldn't recommend eating outside if the train track screeching noise bothers you. The service was slower and you can tell they are newer but they were friendly. The tacos were so delicious and bigger than expected, definitely worth it! The enchilada was okay, lacking some flavors. If I go back, I would get the tacos again for sure. I'm excited to see the next time I go back how they have improved!

Pati and Richard have a true gem here. They are the owners of Apretivo next door and decided to make an upscale Mexican restaurant as the neighboring sister space next door. The space is beautiful and has a great patio area outside. They have a vast variety of great tequilas, one of the more extensive selection that I've seen in the city. They do right by both their aguachile plates. I have not had a similar aguachile plate anywhere else. Its fresh, raw, and spicy. The staff is extremely friendly and very attentive. I can't wait to go back and try more of the menu.

We went with some of the server's suggestions and enjoyed the meal! Birria and Mole both were great.

If you like coconut flavor and margs, then you're in for a treat with this one. So refreshing and even comes with shaved coconut on the side of the glass. Sunday winter evenings seem to be a slower time at the Crossroads Collective, so we were able to easily get a seat right at the bar. The service was completely lovely and the prices are pretty reasonable. Get to it!

It'll turn you into a cheese connoisseur if you're not already one. I fell in love with Gouda cheese as soon as I took a bite. We tried a classic cheese flight board and red wine only flight to pair with the different types of cheese. They made it into a gluten free spread so we had four types of cheese in lieu of the seasoned dried meat and gluten free crackers. The place is inviting, has nice decorations, great for going on a date or a casual catch up with your bestie. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. They knew so much about wine and cheese, I would want a whole Documentary on cheese. You can also purchase cheese and other goodies to go! Come on Thursdays, they have a discount on cheese boards!

The space is cozy and dim and well decorated. The staff are always kind. some are more helpful or informative than others. You can pair the cheeses with every drink on the menu or try pre-paired boards. You can also buy cheeses from the dairy and others, as well as assorted related products at a small retail section or cut fresh from the cheese case. Parking is on the street and can be a pain in this saturated area. The reason for the drop in stars? Prior visits got you more wines and more food to pair it with. This visit had prices steady but fewer wines, less cheese and $1 upcharge for some wafer crackers. I know the economy is not great right now, but this now seems like an expensive place to bring friends, not a reasonable day outing.
