Tropical Breeze Sprite and Biscoff Shake
    Pearl L.

My boyfriend and I stopped by here while waiting for my shift to start. I had this place on my bookmarks since they first started to opening as I love the theme of their cafe. I'm a huge sucker for themes especially ones that revolve around planets and all the pictures and videos I've seen on their social media and on Yelp always looked so pretty. When we arrived, we loved the aesthetics of the place. They had plenty of seating and tables and it is much more spacious than other cafes where it feels like it's too cramped to do anything. They did have Indian music playing which I felt was an odd choice for the atmosphere. The menu here isn't too big either as they do offer menu pancakes, crepes, coffee drinks, milkshakes, smoothies, and energy fizzes. My boyfriend loves biscoff so he got the biscoff milkshake while I got the tropical energy fizz, although I was asked if I wanted Sprite or Red Bull because I assumed it was one of those drinks that had energy in it so felt that was a bit of a mistake on the business for not mentioning that. Additionally, I assume if you get the Red Bull version then it would be an upcharge too, which was also not mentioned to me. The drinks were delicious though! My boyfriend's biscoff shake was definitely the star of the show as it was creamy, smooth, and the consistency was perfect! The syrup of the tropical flavor was nice too, not too sweet and you can taste a bit of all the fruits. Speaking of which, the service here was not inviting nor positive. The lady was the cashier and barista and she had the most monotone attitude with us with no intention to truly welcome or offer good service. It did take some time to get drinks despite us being the only ones there and it didn't seem likely they had any orders that they were making prior to our order. Despite that, this is a neat cafe that I do want to return to try out their crepes, mini pancakes, other drinks and the Turkish coffee!

came here with Dulcutie and tried the mini pancakes for the first time. Got the kinder bueno one and she got the pistachio flavor. I wish that u can combine the flavors because I would have loved a Dubai chocolate mini pancake order, but the food was still soooo good. Great for those with a sweet tooth. Unique wall decoration in the back with the astrologylights as well as Venus planet-shaped lamps on each table. The white palette for the restaurantmade it so pristine, which I liked. Waitress and cashier were the same person. Very nice and even served our orders to our table. Whoever does the cleaning here really puts in work to make the place look good.

I recall few months ago when they went viral for their Dubai chocolate cup . The lines were super long so we couldn't get in back then. We visited this Saturday evening and it was pretty chill. We tried the Dubai chocolate crepe and it was pretty good. I will be back sometime to try their coffee. The service was friendly and quick. One thing I noticed they use plastic cutlery even for in store. I hope they change to reusable one to reduce plastic waste and it's also more enjoyable to eat a crepe with the right cutlery. But overall I would recommend to try their desserts.

Friendly barista who was kind enough of answer all my questions. Turkish Coffee - super strong , will kick you out of your slumber! Coffee Frappe - it was great, little sweeter than expected though I had asked for no sugar or syrup. Pistachio Cheesecake - it was drizzled with Pistachio cream, Nutella and pistachio powder. While the cake was great, I didn't get the pistachio flavor as expected. Will come back to try other pistachio flavors. Lots of parking available

The Venus coffee is delicious and pairs perfectly with the even more delicious Fruit Nest dessert banana and strawberry, a must try, good for 2-3 persons.

Decided to visited Venus Cafe and Sweets. A small Diamond in the ruff, you will miss it if not really looking for it. This small yet quaint Cafe was very inviting. Beautiful decor. Customer service on this day was below average. I stood there, no line and no one in front of me, also they watched me walk in but did not acknowledge me until I spoke up after 5 minutes. I ordered the Dubai Chocolate cup. I decided to take a seat to wait for my order, which also gave me time to take a few pictures and absorb the energy. It didn't take long to receive my order. Parking is not so great, limited spots. I give the Dubai Chocolate Cup a 7/10. I will visit other places to really compare the taste.

I really like Venus Cafe. The service is genuinely nice and the staff are friendly without being over the top. You don't feel rushed, and they're always patient and helpful. The Dubai crepes are really good and probably my favorite thing there. They're made fresh and taste great, not too sweet but still super flavorful. You can tell they put effort into making them right. The place has a chill vibe and is a good spot to sit and enjoy dessert or hang out for a bit. Overall, it's a solid cafe with good service and great crepes. Definitely recommend checking it out if you're nearby.

Dubai chocolate strawberry and banana cup

I'd had Lune Cafe's "Dubai strawberry" cup so felt it only fair to try another location. Ordered the strawberry cup, and a strawberry crepe with Nutella instead of white chocolate. The Dubai cup wad the same as Lune, except here they include some bananas which was just weird. Not a lot just enough to ring around the top. Strangers choice but whatever. Beyond that zero difference. The crepe was very sugary. It had a "strawberry sauce" and Nutella (again, subbed for white chocolate) coating the entire top. It was a fancy decor but provided way too much sugar. The insides? A SINGLE strawberry sliced into bits to make it look like a filling. Extremely disappointing considering I watched someone washing and destemming a whole gallon of strawberries. Now the bad news, as we were eating I got thirsty, clearly, due to the amount of sugar. The water dispenser was moldy. To top it off, if there is only water in there, you KNOW it took a long time to get thst was. And it was visible! I took a photo should anyone question this. I won't be back, Lune is just as good without moldy water.

Venus Cafe is a cute little spot with a cozy atmosphere and really nice decor. I had the Nutella coffee and it was delicious with just the right touch of sweetness but wish it mixed in better. Service was quick as there was only one other person in there. Parking was easy, which is always a plus! Overall, a great place to relax or catch up with a friend. Taking off one star just to leave room for a little more variety or excitement, but I'll definitely be back!

Venus Cafe serves the best Dubai chocolate crepe I've ever tasted! Rich, indulgent, and full of flavor--it truly hits the spot for any dessert lover. The cafe is extremely clean and beautifully decorated, creating a welcoming and stylish atmosphere. While it is a bit on the expensive side, the quality and presentation of the food make it absolutely worth it. A perfect spot to treat yourself!

5 stars for the quality, cleanliness and service/hospitality Was excited to try this new place that just opened in January. This place has a 4.9 5stars 109 reviews in google and knew I had to post something for my fellow foodies on here in Yelp. Walked in on a weekday after lunch and was warmly greeted by the owner Omar. Told him it was my first time and he eagerly gave me great recommendations to try. He even had me try the popular Toffee Coffee topped with crushed pistachios for free. I love seeing his passion for his products as he talks about them and never did I felt rushed. I was really able to make a good decision on what to try. Really 5 star hospitality that would make anyone come back again and support a small business. Toffee coffee is heated Turkish style on authentic heated stands from Turkey and topped with crushed Pistachio. The hot drink was very delicious, albeit on the sweeter side. So if you aren't into sweet coffee, I would prob choose something else, but if that is your jam I say it's def worth a try. $10.99 There are several flavors of Mini pancakes and if you can't decide, they said they can do 2 flavors half n half in one order. Mint Lemonade $6.99 is the best I've had from anywhere else. They did not skimp out on the ingredients & it's almost has a light slush to it (not watered down). I will for sure come back for this refreshing drink, though I will ask next time if the sweetness is adjustable. The Pistachio Crepe $13.50 was beautifully crafted with a border of pistachio nuts. Definitely a desert crepe topped with white chocolate so it's easily sharable and good for a take home treat for the family or to take to a get together. Parking: free parking in their own plaza lot and it's right on busy 104th ave Peak times: Night time and weekends Overall: I would def come back to try their other drinks given the quality and care they put in and get mini pancakes for the little one as a treat. I am also interested to see if they are open to adjust sweetness level on some of the drinks like other places do. This is a good solid place for dessert and drinks. I feel like if they had more savory crepe options, they will definitely increase their customer base, especially for brunch.

Menu of desserts, strawberry Dubai chocolate is a side menu item!

Parking is extremely limited and prices are high. They have a great interior with lots of seating & tons of options for snacks / drinks! We ordered a crepe, mini pancakes and 3 Dubai strawberry cups and it was $78 ‍. Seems like the staff are still learning how to handle busy hours because they missed our order and other customer's orders - we waited ~45 min for our order.

The first thing I appreciated was the parking. They have their own lot, so finding a space was easy--a huge bonus compared to many Seattle cafés where parking can be a challenge. As you walk in, you'll see shelves displaying their freshly baked breads and pastries, making it easy to browse before ordering. If you look to the left, there's also a viewing window where you can catch a glimpse of the bakery production behind the scenes, which adds a fun touch to the experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. The staff were friendly and never made me feel rushed. Instead of asking repeatedly if I was ready, they simply let me take my time and came over when I was ready to order. I really appreciated that. I'm the type of person who takes a while to make very serious food decisions, so the no-pressure service made the experience even more enjoyable. One thing that surprised me was that the café wasn't filled with the strong aroma of coffee or freshly baked bread like many bakeries are. Don't let that fool you, though--the bread was incredible. I ordered the Bialy Egg Sandwich, and the bread was soft with a wonderful chewy texture while still having a nice crust on the outside. The egg was cooked with a perfectly runny yolk, which made every bite rich and satisfying. If you prefer your eggs fully cooked, I'd recommend asking when you order. I paired it with a coffee that leaned toward the bright, slightly acidic side. It complemented the sandwich well, although my personal preference is for coffee with more chocolatey, earthy notes. That's purely a matter of taste, not quality--I can definitely see why others would enjoy their roast. One thing to note is that pets aren't allowed inside the café, so plan accordingly if you're bringing your furry friend. But they do sell dog biscuits and you can enjoy the outdoor space with your furry friend after ordered. - which is a bit confusing to me Just keep in mind that they're only open on weekdays and close around 2 p.m., so it's definitely an early bird kind of place. I'd happily come back again--it's the perfect stop after a morning workout before heading to work, and I can definitely see why people have been recommending it. Overall, this is a wonderful spot for breakfast, a quiet coffee break, or a place to recharge before starting your day. It reminded me of the cozy cafés in Capitol Hill, but with much easier parking and a more relaxed pace.

The employees are friendly and genuinely make us feel welcome every time we come back. Today I decided to change up my usual routine and ordered the waffle with eggs and sausage--plus, of course, an English muffin with peanut butter . I was not disappointed. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the sausage links were flavorful, and the English muffin was toasted just right. As always, the coffee was excellent and the service was outstanding. My family and I were in the area and decided to give Mary's Fine Food a try after hearing good…read morethings about it. Pulling into the parking lot, I have to admit I wondered if my GPS had developed a sense of humor. The restaurant sits in an older strip mall that doesn't exactly scream "destination dining," but the inside has a cozy, old-school Texas diner feel that was actually pretty charming. Unfortunately, convincing my two kids that this was a better choice than IHOP turned into a losing battle almost immediately. We waited over 40 minutes for our food, which, in kid time, is roughly equivalent to serving a prison sentence. Every five minutes I was reminded that pancakes at IHOP would have already been eaten, digested, and forgotten by then. To be fair, the food was good. I ordered the Philly Scramble, and my wife ordered the California Eggs Benedict. The quality was solid, but the pricing left me scratching my head. The California Eggs Benedict, which came with tomato, avocado, and bacon, was nearly $30. For comparison, I've paid less for Eggs Benedict at places in downtown Seattle. Seeing a $28.99 Eggs Benedict in a strip mall in Kent felt like finding luxury hotel prices at a gas station convenience store. The pricing surprises didn't stop there. There are extra charges for things like splitting orders, automatic gratuity, and add-ons. We had asked for strawberries with the French toast, which may have contributed to the final bill, but it wasn't entirely clear when I reviewed the receipt. Unfortunately, the handwriting on the check was difficult to read, making it hard to understand exactly how everything was itemized. Since I wasn't completely sure what had already been included, I ended up leaving an additional tip just to avoid accidentally shorting someone. By the end, breakfast for our family came out to around $115. Now, credit where it's due: the service itself was friendly, and once the food arrived, everyone enjoyed it. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and I can see why people like this place. The restaurant has a unique charm and definitely feels different from the typical chain breakfast spot. Overall, Mary's Fine Food serves good food and has a pleasant atmosphere, but the long wait times and pricing felt hard to justify for a family breakfast. Three stars. Not a bad meal, but next time my kids vote for IHOP, they may actually win the family election.
