Filler and lip flip all 3 times, and my experience was amazing. The girls were gentle, compassionate, and informative. However, this time was completely different. I booked an appt for 10:30am for a Labor Day discounted lip filler and lip flip. I showed up on time, filled out my forms, and was told to sit in the lobby. ZERO communication about my wait time or what to expect. I could see the lobby was busy, and noticed 2 girls walk in without an appointment for lip filler. They were told the wait was long, but they still stayed. One whole hour later, I'm taken to a room without any communication as to what to expect or how long. I wish I was lying when I said that they kept me in that room for another 30 minutes. At this point it's an hour and a half past my appointment, without even a consultation or even an estimated wait time. I went to the front desk and asked how much longer it would be. They said another 5 minutes, and then did my consultation for my lips. At just past noon, my technician Stephanie C. comes in. I expressed to her how disappointed I was in the lack of communication. I told her that I understood they were super busy, but that just communicating an estimated wait time would go a long way as a customer. She asked if I had somewhere to be lmfao. Regardless of my plans after, my time should be respected. I said yes, I do have plans after this. SHE SAID, "well would you like to just leave now then, since you have plans ? I don't want you to miss them." Miss girl, why would I wait 2 hours to be turned away right when you're finally here to do the service? Obviously she wasn't actually concerned, she was giving attitude because I expressed my concerns. I could immediately feel the tension, and just decided to let it be for the moment and focus on the service I paid for. As we start to talk about my lips, she does inform me and educate me about migration and tries to push the more expensive options on me but I stayed with what I had paid for. They don't like when you don't upgrade your services, and they make it known. Now everything that happened after this is why I decided to make a review. As I said before, I've had my lips done 3 times. I'm familiar with the sensations and pains, even comfortable with it. Stephanie C. had the opposite of a gentle hand. I could feel her revenge in every needle poke. I even felt my lips tugging when she didn't hold my lip down with her other hand. This time was incredibly painful, and I could tell I was bleeding way more than normal. No caffeine in my system, btw. This in turn has led to the worst bruising I've ever had. My lips had dark purple black spots, deep deep bruises the following day. I know bruising is normal but the severity of it spoke volumes of Stephanie's work. I finished my service at 12:40. 2 hours after my appointment was scheduled for. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT WHEN I WAS CHECKING OUT AT THE FRONT DESK, THE 2 WOMEN WHO WALKED IN WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT AT 11AM, WERE ALSO CHECKING OUT? I went to her the first time for electrolysis on my chin I thought everything was going well, she advised my to start shaving my chin and I was skeptical about this advice but I went ahead and did what she said. After 1 month I noticed my chin was actually worse. The hairs were coarser and there was more of them! I brought this to Brenda's attention and she said well my classes say that there is nothing wrong with shaving but my school text books only teach on how to work on Caucasian skin. I then began asking her about her experience with working with other ethnicities and she assured me that almost half of her clientele there is African American (which I do not believe because I never saw any Blacks when I was there). Brenda than told me to stop shaving if I think its getting worse, but never took any accountability for the fact that my chin started getting worse. Told add insult to injury, she even talked bad about me to another one of her clients and told her to stop shaving as well. It seems like Brenda dosent know what she's talking about, and when someone brings an issue to her, she is unprofessional and tells your business to other customers. That is just unexceptable. Lastly brenda took over an hour and didnt even clear one side of my chin, she kept telling me that my hairs are very strong. Then told the other client who told me that my hairs are curly which they are not. Now that im going to someone who is confident in what they do she clears my entire chin in less than 20 minuets even after the damage of shaving. My current lady also said I will be clear in 3 months where Brenda said I will take around 1 year. I do not recommend Brenda. Because she teaches she acts like she knows everything but once I went to another person I realized she was doing everything wrong including the method. Brenda used blended method on me and my new electrolysist said that method is not as effective and takes very long. I wish that I didnt waste any money working with Brenda because these treatments are expensive. Now I am finally seeing the results that I wanted too.
