Five stars is not enough! The pumpkin ravioli, focaccia and tomato soup were absolutely perfect! The desserts were all amazing!!! The ambience was calm and quiet and beautiful. When my friends told me they were taking me to the 4 Seasons for breakfast I thought they were kidding. A 4 Seasons, on the strip? Who knew? A completely surprising and wonderful experience. Be sure to have the Huevos Rancheros! The red sauce they prepare is so rich and creamy it would be probably make a fun dinner ice cream! I do ding them for using jarred salsa.. I'm sure that most of the cooks in the back have awesome salsa recipes.. the chef needs to hit them up, seriously! Also a ding on the so so pastry basket.. come on now.. this is the 4 Seasons.. I bet they could bring something better in than what they currently serve. In all the chaos and drama on the strip this is one of the most secluded feeling and comfortable escapes. Our anniversary dinner lead us back to Verandah and basically it just boils down to the fact that I love Verandah. The setting isn't very formal and there's an outdoor seating area with ceiling fans and shade for those that want to hang outside. We changed things up by ordering the calamari (fritto misto). A good choice as there was shrimp/calamari and green peppers which brought it some heat. I looked back at my previous review and my significant other ordered the same thing as he did last year. The Brasato Barolo (short ribs) which is a definitely a MUST try... very flavorful, melts in your mouth deliciousness. I decided to get the rack of lamb which was good, nothing extraordinary....a lil bit over done for the "medium" that it was supposed to be but I think I could pass it up next time. The best dish of the night was Antonio's Pasta. It was cooked in the glass jar shown in pictures with scallops, shrimp and the best fresh pasta ever! The flavors were just wonderful and I could have just had that for dinner and been content. We ended it with a wonderful chocolate souffle that wasn't overly sweet and paired well with the dolce latte flavored gelato. They also surprised us with a plate of truffles and a Happy Anniversary written on it....sweet touch to a great night. Verandah's service has always been and still is attentive. Delicious food paired with great service makes it for a great night. They also know how to make a lemon drop martini like how this gal likes it....bonus points there since I've been highly dissatisfied with a lot of lemon drop martinis at other venues. It's decent. Came in for dinner on a Friday night. It wasn't my first choice to visit the Four Seasons Hotel for dinner, but I think I was content. I had the New York steak for $35. It was served a la carte, so ordered some spicy broccolini ($7) to go with that. Started with soup and finished with wine, so about $75 per person at the end. Here are the items we ordered: Bufala Pizza - Delicious. One of the best pizza I have tasted. The crust was soft and chewy. Loved it! -La Pasta Cotta Nel Vaso (Signature Dish) - I wasn't a fan. But the rest of the party loved it. -Tagliolini Ai Gamberi - This is the house made Saffron Tagliolini with Prawns and sea beans. I liked this dish, though a bit salty. -Branzino Carta Fata - This is the European Seabass, served in a Parchment Bag. The bag looks more like a clear plastic. Had afternoon tea service here. This is one of the best high tea locations in Vegas. Everything done very classy. Limited times (3-4) and days of the week. Both plain and currant scones with strawberry preserves, clotted cream and lemon curd. Nice assortment of finger sandwiches, and four different bite sized desserts (as if scones with clotted cream aren't enough). Weren't able to finish everything, so they boxed up what we had left and also included clotted cream lemon curd to go (along with a few extra scones). Typical top notch service you would expect from a Four Seasons. If you are celebrating anything in particular (eg. Anniversary, birthday), make sure to let them know and they bring out a plate celebrating your special event along with some truffles. And if you have a non tea drinker at the table, the bottomless hot chocolate with fresh whipped cream is delicious. Only complaint is that they ended up seating a party in the tea area which was just ordering from the bar menu and they were a bit boisterous. Pastas are excellent here. Full of flavors..not too salty..and big portions. The italian sausage pasta is light and slightly creamy with little wet sauce. The mozzarella proscuitto appetizer is unique and mouth watering..highly recommended. Place is not packed at all. My party of 7 arrived 7pm on Saturday Memorial Day weekend and we had the entire interior restaurant to ourselves until around 815 when another couple sat inside. So I called to ask if any seats are available the lady said yes inside only. So I was like fine whatever. Got here, there was a lot of seats available outside =T The service was a bit slow. We booked a reservation here last night after our TERRIBLE experience at Aueroles and could not have been more pleased! Upon arriving at the restaurant we waited momentarily as the host had left his stand to seat he guests prior to us. After a moment we were treated by the executive chef who happened to be passing by and noticed us standing there. What a nice gesture! He was under no obligation to greet us and attempt to have us seated, but he chose to do so and it started our evening off on such a high note after our disappointing start earlier that evening. Once we were seated we were met by our absolutely phenomenal waiter (his name escapes me right now, but he was an older Italian gentleman with a wonderful personality and kind demeanor). His suggestions were on par and the food was outstanding. The meatball appetizer was out of this world and my lobster risotto was to die for! Thank y'all so much for turning a bad evening into a great one. Your hospitality, environment, wait staff and food selection was the best I had during my trip. We had an amazing experience at Veranda, for dinner. Our waiter was extremely friendly and attentive. I think his name is Bill. He called me by my name, which i had made reservations, which was a rare and lovely twist. I had the exquisite carbonara, wifey had the incredible short rib, friends had some pasta and scallops. We thoroughly enjoyed each of our salads and dessert as well. We had the eskimos...yes!!!! They had the creme trio. Everything was just perfect. These guys really know how to treat people. Came in for breakfast because I knew that, 1-being in Four Seasons, I was going to get excellent service and 2-the food would be worth the price. I was not disappointed. When we walked in the hostess was on the telephone assisting a guest. The guest was being quite inquisitive and the hostess was doing her best at answering them. I could tell she was trying to end the call to seat us, but try as she may, she could not end the call. We stood there for about 3-4 minutes when one of the waiters came to seat us. We looked over the menu and ordered the chicken and waffles and eggs Benedict. The service was excellent, as expected. Our food came out perfect and looked delicious. It was, of course! The only thing that I could say, was the chicken was over-breaded. There was more breading than chicken. I'm sure some people like that, but not us. If you're staying at the Mandalay Bay, this is the place for breakfast. It might be a bit pricier than other restaurants in the hotel, but it is definitely worth it! I'll be back in a few months!! i was not impressed. i think the mistake i made was coming here for dinner instead of brunch. i saw all the brunch pictures on the yelp page and assumed that their "pasta" and american selection would be fantastic. this is slightly pricey, and with the ambiance, i thought the food was going to be melt in your mouth, hit you in your face, bomb dot com. unfortunately, it was not. service was okay -- the host was super nice and friendly and escorted us to our seats. i ordered a mushroom pasta, and for being a mushroom lover, it was the only thing i could taste. the flavor overpowered the taste of anything else and it just didn't leave a good taste in my mouth. my friend ordered the steak and i thought it was pretty good, but not worth the price or the hype. def recommend trying a different restaurant when you're in vegas! read more

The strawberry preserves, Devonshire cream, and lemon curd were spot on and tasty on the scones. I would rank them in that order. The salmon sandwich was good while the cucumber sandwich was decent. The beet root was good, esp with the waffle cone. The almond and pear tart reminded me of an egg custard tart with almonds on the top. The 2 chocolate desserts were ok for me. The mango cheesecake was smooth. The wait staff were very friendly and even gave us their extra desserts. I would definitely support them. We LOVE this place. Came here for Sunday Brunch today and it was perfect. A lot of places are over the top and substitute quality for quantity, but the Veranda brunch was just right. It was only $39 per person and you get a good selection of pastries, egg stations, omelette station, variety of meats, there's even a fresh donut bar where you choose your own glaze and toppings, a yogurt and parfait station...overall everything was perfect. As hotel cafes go, this is as good as it gets. Tucked away in a corner of the Four Seasons lobby with a covered outdoor terrace poolside, here's a nifty little oasis. I've been several times and have always been pleased with the simple but flavorful dishes. The menu has mostly standard fare with an Italian/Mediterranean focus, but everything is expertly done in big portions with the freshest-tasting of ingredients. Yay: -The brunch buffet had a smorgasbord of options: omelet bar, donut bar (delightful!), charcuterie bar, continental breakfast type bar (including chicken and waffles, pear french toast, and then your usual suspects) -The bloody mary and the cranberry and blood orange mimosa were a refreshing and tasty way to relax midday on a Sunday. The iced coffee was clearly fresh brewed, similar to a cold brew style, a good way to wake up and cool off while we were seated outside. -The pineapple french toast was done so delectably: the pineapple was toasted and warm yet still refreshing. The brioche was soft and fluffy, not soaked and mushy. It didn't sit heavy but it satiated me completely. -This place is bougie and we felt fancy and taken care of. Can't wait to come back here! Nay: -It was rather expensive. We knew we were getting fancy when we decided to eat here. While staying at the Mandalay Bay and after one of my SPA treatments I wanted a splurgy late lunch. The Four Seasons hotel is connected by hallways to the Mandalay complex and within one min I was seated and served. I started with the Caprese salad - lovely Heirloom Tomatoes, Campania Buffalo Mozzarella, Pesto a drizzle of olive oil. For my entree I chose the starter (I do that sometimes - I love Apps!) Sicilian Meatballs - San Marzano Tomato Sauce, Pecorino Romano. Perfect lunch! Accompanying lunch I had the Chianti Colli Senesi and I also asked for olives and was given a lovely dishful to go with my rustic bread with olive oil. I wish they had a snooty cheese plat or a charcuterie - olive, meats, & cheeses with a salad is a perfect meal IMHO. Interestingly, they asked me for my last name when being seated and from then on from hostess, waiter, bus boy, to the manager coming by to ask how things were - they addressed me by name ....what a lovely touch! We came here for a quick lunch on a weekday. Note that they only have buffet on weekends, and then only till 1pm. The dishes are on the expensive side, but what do you expect? It's connected to 4 seasons. We had 3 dishes: The margarita pizza (I think that's what it's called) - I thought this one wasn't great, though the girlfriend thought it was the best dish. The bread of the pizza felt a bit too soft, and the sauce plus pizza was lacking. Maybe I'm just being too picky since I'm biased towards NY pizza. Shrimp tacos - these were great, the shrimp was big and fresh, and the lemon and avocado sauce was interesting. I prefer the taco toasted a bit more, but overall I can recommend this dish. Seafood mac and cheese - This was the highlight of the lunch. They did not skimp on the seafood, with chunks of lobster, scallop and shrimp. I devoured it in minutes. Girlfriend did not enjoy it though, so it may be an acquired taste. Overall, I give the food a solid 3. The extra star is for the service, our server was very at tentative and checked on us several times to make sure we were ok. read more

In some ways, the service tried to do what you'd expect from a restaurant in the Four Seasons. In many other ways, it just missed the mark. It's worth a trip because it really is a nice place. I just hope they boost the service a little. Also, don't waste the money on the "Ultimate Bloody Mary." This place is amazing! First and foremost I want to say how great and extremely on point the staff is. They greeted me with a smile, ask for my name and then everyone that came by my table addressed me as Mr Uy, which I must confess is a bit weird for me. I stopped by for breakfast and ordered the Egg White Frittata and was blown away. I ordered it w/o the pesto, because I just find pesto a bit over powering for me at times and I just wasnt ready to start my day with "pesto breath". Coffee was a tad strong but was bottomless and I also ordered a mimosa which I later regretted. It was nice, but it cost $14 compared to my meal that was only $16. I forgot to add that I had my breakfast outside on the patio which is poolside. If the weather is cooperative, I really recommend you eat on the patio.
