June 15, 2026 -- our Vegas trip was already rolling, but my wife took things to championship level when she found a restaurant inside Mandalay Bay serving her all‑time favorite breakfast dish: Huevos Rancheros. Meanwhile, I had my eye on their crunchy French toast like it was calling my name from across the casino floor. When we arrived, the line was long enough to make you rethink breakfast entirely -- but thankfully, my wife had made a reservation. Ten minutes later, we were seated like VIPs while everyone else continued their pilgrimage in the waiting line. Breakfast Round 1 My wife didn't hesitate: Huevos Rancheros. I had a last‑minute change of heart and went lighter with the Avocado Toast -- scrambled eggs and capers on the side. Our waitress, Kristy E., was juggling a packed dining room, but she still took her time with us, answered questions, and made sure we were good. That's top‑tier service. Before my wife could even ask, Kristy E. brought the hot sauce. That's elite waitress intuition. My wife took one bite and declared her dish outstanding. When she says it's outstanding, it's officially certified. My Avocado Toast was good -- fresh, flavorful, and the eggs were scrambled perfectly. I just needed more avocado, but the capers added a nice salty pop that made up for it. Later That Day... Round 2 Because Vegas has no rules, we came back later with friends for drinks. And of course, drinks require food support. We ordered: - BBQ Chicken Wings - Fries - Ranch dressing The wings were good -- saucy, flavorful, and perfect with the drinks. The fries were solid. And the ranch? Ranch never misses. It was the perfect "Vegas second wind" meal. Final Verdict Great breakfast. Great service from Kristy E.. Great return visit with friends. I walked up around 7:30 in the morning. No host was there so I just walked in and stood around waiting to be helped. A lady came out and said to come back to the front and just pointed to a roped off area (the line) So I waited...another couple came and asked if I was in line and I told them I wasn't sure, the lady didn't say anything, just point to wait here. Finally got seated by the window. It took a few minutes to get a server to come over. The place was about 1/4 full. I got my order in and food came fast. The food is just your typical breakfast joint. Overall my experience was neutral. I didn't expect much going in and the place lived up to my expectations. Absolutely great breakfast/brunch cafe. It was clean, lots of space between tables, and the staff were excellent. Everyone kept coming to our table to compliment our baby on how well behaved she was. (thankful) The food was delicious, the steak and eggs were cooked to perfection just as we ordered. Eggs were silky, perfect for my daughter and the steak was grilled perfectly on the outside with the inside nice and juicy. I heard the crunch French toast was delicious as well, but it looked too sweet for my liking so I cannot confirm or deny. We had Seabreeze for breakfast one morning. We weren't MGM gold members so we had to stand in line but it only took us about 20mins to get sat. I ordered thr bottomless mimosas because that was the same price as ordering 2 mimosas alone and I didnt know if I would have 2 or 3 - so thought might as well. They brought me 2 to start and as soon as I was almost done with the first, they'd bring another- so there were always 2 on the table. The food was decent, nothing to write home about. Date of visit: January 1, 2026 I was so pleased to see so many highly-rated eateries at Mandalay Bay; it's location at the very south end of The Strip would make it easy to fill with substandard restaurants because they know you have few choices down here. Sadly, the experience of other Yelpers was not what we received at our recent visit to Seabreeze Cafe. This is the old buffet, which once upon a time was known as the best on the south end of The Strip and one of the best in the entire city. Not sure exactly when it transitioned into more of a cafe, but we aren't likely to come back. Our wait was not terrible (approximately 15 minutes), especially when the lines here can fill the entire entryway and folks with MGM Priority Status get first dibs on seating (I didn't see that at other establishments at Mandalay, so keep that in mind). Barcy, our server, was apparently still recovering from New Year's Eve as she was very inattentive. The entire meal was very slow and others that sat after us received their food before us. The food itself was not bad, though of course it was Vegas prices. My Croque Madame was $25 and came with nothing but the sandwich. Even half a hashbrown would have been something to make it feel like a better value. Our friend ordered the pancakes and they could have fed all three of us, they were giant. When they arrived, another server said, "Oh, Karl must be cooking this morning. He makes 'em huge!" The service here is phenomenal! Went for a late breakfast and got the crunch French toast and steak and eggs with orange juice. The French toast was a recommendation and I will shout that from the rooftops too! It does have a crunchy layer to really enhance the texture of the dish, and make it stand out from a standard French toast. The steak and eggs is huge, so come hungry. Mine was a bit fatty, but overall it was really good and cooked just like I asked it to be. Overall 9/10, will be back! read more

It does the job for hotel restaurant food that's just there to satisfy hotel guests and maybe the overnight gambling hangover. The food is average and your workers are "okay"--generally friendly but very lackadaisical in service. There is a gold, platinum, noir line for MGM rewards members (or Marriott Bonvoy) like myself who don't make breakfast reservations. That got us in very quickly, which was appreciated. Service was pretty efficient but not super friendly, hence the only 4 stars. We also didn't get a to go box we requested, but not a huge deal. My brother-in-law and I both enjoyed the breakfast burrito. I was able to sub turkey sausage instead of chorizo, which was also appreciated. My niece got the French toast and it was amazing! Everyone at the table had some and it was a fan favorite. I don't know what crunchy goodness they crusted it with, but if you like sweet French toast, you'll love this! My sister had the fruit plate and it was fresh and delicious. The view of the pool was pretty. The ambiance was interesting. Not casual, not stuffy, kinda upscale beach resortish. My experience at Seabreeze Cafe was extremely disappointing due to the unprofessional behavior of both the server and hostess. After being asked to move from our original seating, the situation was handled with unnecessary rudeness and a dismissive attitude instead of basic courtesy or clear communication. Rather than making us feel welcome as paying customers, both staff members came across as irritated and disrespectful, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere for the rest of our visit. Good customer service starts with kindness and professionalism, and unfortunately that was completely lacking during this experience. We ended up asking Lucy who was very kind to cancel our reservations. From the reviews food looked amazing but couldn't tell you as we ended up cancelling reservations with Lucy who was the only kind one. read more

While staying at the Mandalay Bay Hotel, we had breakfast at Seabreeze Cafe one morning. The restaurant is conveniently located near the lobby area. The restaurant is huge. The service was lacklustre, and our server seemed over it, even though it was quite early. The food was good enough, but not memorable. We ordered the seasonal pancake, which was huge and could have easily fed two. With that, we had the three-egg omelette. BREAKFAST BEFORE CHECK-OUT I checked out of Mandalay Bay on Thursday after Labor Day. Initially I made a reservation to eat here the previous day, but I decided to cancel the reservation. At the last minute I decided to eat at Seabreeze Cafe for my final meal at Mandalay Bay. I knew what I wanted to order the Croque Madame because it had fried egg unlike Croque Monsieur. Both items are the same except for one ingredient. I'm an egg slut, but would a fried egg make a difference? I've eaten a Croque Monsieur once at a French bakery. One thing you can taste from the Croque Madame at Seabreeze Cafe is the ham. However the mornay sauce overpowers the brioche. I believe what makes a sandwich is the bread similar to how the crust is vital to pizza. Also with the combination of the ham the mornay sauce made the Croque Madame salty. I believe a fried egg can enhance a dish like scrambled eggs with BBQ pork, beef, or shrimp as those served in Chinese dishes. At Seabreeze Cafe the price between Croque Monsieur and Croque Madame is $2 because of the fried egg. I love a fried egg with a runny yolk, but the fried egg on the Croque Madame didn't make much of a difference to enhance the sandwich. Overall I had an ok breakfast at Seabreeze Cafe. The ambiance is elegant because if you have window seating you can see the Mandalay Beach Resort. The Seabreeze Cafe is also quiet. If you want a relaxing breakfast come to Seabreeze Cafe but skip the Croque Monsieur and Croque Madame. read more

Immediately greeted with smiling faces from the Hosts and were told it would be about a 20 minute wait. No problem since we were at a busy conference and looking for somewhere close to our classes. We were sat in 10! The restaurant is clean, has a cozy and relaxed ambiance, server was nice and they took our drink orders right away. We chose the club sandwich with a side salad and a burger. The food came out quickly and it was a solid meal. It was hearty, tasted good, and really filling (the club was overflowing with turkey; and the burger was huge). She has a bad attitude. I did not get her name but she is rude. (Latina Host mid 20s to 30s) I asked her a question, she rolled her eyes chewing on her gum and not even making eye contact. I asked if I am staying here at the Mandalay Bay, do I have benefits to get priority seating? Her response was Nope. Rude individual. After 17 mins tops, we were seated. Paula our waitress was a sweetheart. She was very nice and accommodating. Served coffee, juice and took our order. Came back a few minutes later and she took our breakfast orders. She was on it! We had breakfast over Memorial Day weekend at Seabreeze Cafe while staying at The W. It was Saturday morning so the wait was about 20 minutes. We were starved and wanted to eat on property to utilize resort credit that came with our booking. I went with the classic american breakfast ($24) which came with 2 eggs, breakfast potatoes, toast and your choice of breakfast meats. I went with bacon. I got scrambled eggs and white toast with mine. The lady also got a classic american breakfast but went with wheat toast and turkey sausage. Overall, the breakfast was just ok. 2 slices of bacon for me, 2 ground turkey patties for her. They were a little on the dry side. My eggs were just ok. Couldve been better. We just needed something to get us started before we headed out for the day and since it was on MLife, it was fine. We were sat by the window overlooking the pool complex so that was nice. Service was good. There was a bit of confusion at first because our server Ashley wasnt informed that the busser in our section went on break so she had to pull double duty for all the tables with getting drinks as well as taking our orders and bringing everyone's food. We recently went to Las Vegas and stayed @mandalaybay. For several breakfasts, we found Seabreeze Cafe to have a good variety and good service. Hubby and I had coffee while Dad had orange juice. For one of the breakfasts, Dad had the 3-Egg Omelet with ham and wheat toast. Another time, Dad had the American Breakfast. Hubby had the Croque Madame one time. It was huge! Somehow, he mostly finished it! Another time, Hubby had the American Breakfast with eggs over easy. For my first breakfast there, I had the Yogurt Parfait. It was a generous portion, but I was able to eat most of it. For another breakfast, I had the Seasonal Fruit Platter. It was wonderful! The service was on point. Stayed at this hotel and had breakfast with my boyfriend. Front staff were great--very professional and kind--but the food was disappointing. My toast looked fine until I flipped it--completely burnt on the bottom. Why would you hide the burnt side face down? The scrambled eggs were super watery, like they poured too much water into the mix. Do they even check what they're serving? What an amazing brunch spot in the middle of the casino chaos. Wanted to get a quick breakfast before my work meeting and this was the best place. There was quite a long line around 30 minute wait at 10am ish, not sure if reservation would've helped but wasn't expecting it to be this crowded. When we got seated, we told the waiter we were in a rush and the lady got the memo perfectly getting us our food quickly and when prompted, the check quickly. Great service. The food? Even better. The 3 egg omelet was soooo yumm with the perfect cheesy ham onion filling. The eggs benefit was also delicious. Overall amazing . Great decor inside too! Had breakfast there Friday morning at 8:30. Place was 50% empty. Service was good. They had specials for the first time (eaten there many times) and was told they are changing the menu soon and the specials are items that will be on the new version. Ordered the 'homemade' corned beef hash - I do like hash - and was excited to see their version. It was very disappointing. Their brisket was apparently just run through a food chopper as it resembled ground meat and was extremely fatty. In fact , most of the bites ended up being spit out because of unchewable fat. The corned beef was either not cooked long enough to render the fat or was not trimmed well before chopping it up. Also, the corned beef should have been heated on the griddle to give it a crispy exterior texture but it was more like just eating semi-raw hamburger instead. All in all a very disappointing experience. Especially for a hotel restaurant that was half empty. read more

The food didn't disappoint - we had the corn beef hash (newer dish I'd definitely recommend), omelette and the crunchy French toast and all three were filling and delicious. This spot feels like a fancy coffee shop inside Mandalay Bay. Service is always friendly, and if you're a higher-tier MGM Rewards member like myself, they'll sometimes treat you with freebies -- last time they gave us a fruit platter, this time we got delicious mini chocolate eclairs! I got the Steel-Cut Oats... it was meh. The portion is generous, but they skimp on the berries. I ended up mixing in some of the yogurt parfait to add flavor, which actually made it much better. We also go the Mixed Berries Yogurt Parfait. This was the real standout. Out of all the MGM resort cafés I've been to, Sea Breeze has the best parfait. It's bigger than most and includes a tasty blueberry compote -- something you don't see at other spots. The Cobb Salad was nice but nothing special. It's a Cobb Salad. Wow! Wife and I are spending Thanksgiving in Las Vegas so we had our Thanksgiving lunch at the seabreeze Cafe. What a delight! Their Thanksgiving meal! Just had a truly abysmal experience at Seabreeze Cafe. Ordered a veggie burger with fries. I was there at the height of the lunch rush and somehow the fries were absolutely ice cold. I could almost understand if that happened if I came during a slow time and they hadn't cooked any in awhile. How does this even happen when the place is full and everyone is eating burgers and sandwiches that come with fries. Next, like with most burgers, the onions, pickles, etc. were on the side. They actually put the nasty brown lettuce stem on my plate. Not even a normal lettuce leaf with it, just the rotting stem. I am middle aged and have been to my fair share of bad restaurants over the years and literally no one ever gave the stem to head of lettuce on my plate. Now we get to the end, after I've choked down my mediocre lunch. My server tells me to give him my credit card without even showing me the bill first. My mistake, I was so stunned by this that I handed it over. he comes back and I'm charged $30 for a burger that was $23 on the menu. I find a stray menu and show him the price. He of course takes the menu from me, mutters something, takes the receipts, and comes back with the correct price -- but without my copy of the receipt and I basically had to fight to get that, too. God knows how many thousands of dollars I've spent at MGM properties over the years, but this is the last dollar I ever spend with them. Literally the worst meal I'm likely to eat all year and incompetence is the charitable way to describe what happened with my bill. Late-stage American capitalism is really something. read more
