We had an American breakfast, an omelette and the avocado toast. Each came with a side of potatoes or fruit. Everything was well prepared and tasted good. I am NEVER one to complain or compare myself to others, but holy CRAP the service I got at Spritz at the Venetian was hot garbage and that's putting it lightly. We arrive at 10:01 AM. I had to ask for water 3 times before it actually showed. FINALLY get a water around 10:30. Server drops off drinks and doesn't even try to ask if we were ready to order. So we wait again. We are not checked in on and I'm slowly watching other tables getting their orders taken. Finally, our turn. No smiles or personality during the order taking process, no upsells or enthusiasm in their finesse and blatant, evident discomfort and panic in their faces. No sense of urgency. Orders are in around 10:40. We did not get our food until 11:25 ish. Within this 45 minute wait, we watched all the tables around us receive their orders. No waters topped, no asking if anything was okay and if we raised any concern, we were given exasperated "sorry our kitchen is running 40 minute ticket times" and "please let us know if you wait any longer." followed by eye rolls behind their sunglasses. At this point, I'm not even hungry. I pride myself in delivering a one in a million, very personal and exciting experience thru my almost 20 years of customer service. I LOVE working in a restaurant, serving and bartending and I don't let any of my guests have a lesser experience than the other. Everyone gets the same love and treatment outta me and I couldn't fathom treating anyone under my service the way I was served today. I was hoping the food was going to make up thru taste despite the egregious wait time and terrible service me and my best friends family received for today. But it did not hit, not even a little bit. Not to mentioned watching all these food runners not knowing which tables their food went to.. ‍ I am no better than anyone else and I know there's definitely better out there, but what the FUCK was that?! Waiting almost an hour and a half for food I could have made better for a decimal of the price my meal was. I'm grateful that I was taken care of graciously by my best friends family but that service was beyond me. I am NEVER compelled to talk like this but today was where I draw the line because never in my life have I ever been THIS WOWED with terrible service. The only reason I'm giving a one star rating is because there was an injured pigeon a few tables over that one of the servers and a guest were fighting vigilantly to help. Came here last weekend for a buddy's bachelor party and had a great time. I ordered the Poolside Breakfast which was eggs, bacon, applewood chicken sausage, hashbrown patty, and sourdough. It was good, nothing mind blowing, but hey, it's The Venetian, so you expect a bit of a markup. Also tried a friend's breakfast burrito, and honestly, it was just alright. The salsa verde definitely helped, but I wouldn't recommend it. Now, the bottomless drinks? A must. A few guys got the bottomless spritzes, which were solid, but I went for the bottomless bellinis, and oh man, it was worth it. I tried all 11 flavors (yes, I was quite happy), and watermelon was the standout. Ended up at 16 bellinis in 90 minutes, no regrets. Location was great, had great EDM music playing. Fisher played at Tao nightclub which was right behind us. We weren't able to go but we definitely felt like we were there on how clear it sounded. There's only a few months out of the year where you can dine al fresco in Las Vegas and have a completely enjoyable experience - this was one of them. I was promptly seated, my server Vicky was very knowledgeable and attentive. She went over the menu with me, and I decided on the turkey wrap, no bacon, adding jalapenos. This is the perfect poolside bar and restaurant. I ordered brunch from the super nice bartenders as I wanted my food to go to eat at my lounge chair by the pool. It took about 10 minutes for the food to get prepared, and everything was great. The breakfast burrito was loaded with everything breakfasty and a nice hot salsa on the side. The fresh fruit was ripe and chilled well. The Poke salad with tuna was a very good portion, though I wish there had been a side of soy sauce and Wasabi. The Sriracha sauce on to was good, and I asked for no rice, so they put in a little extra salad lettuce. Honestly I don't expect the nicest, most professional, and attentive servers in Vegas to work at Spritz but that's exactly what we found. We were sat quickly, attended to immediately, and it didn't trend down from there. Food was really good for "pool-side food" and was fast to the table. The staff was truly the rockstars here though. The food was all fresh, organic, and the healthy options were endless. Plus the portions were decent and the taste was superb! We at breakfast + lunch or brunch here every day. A few o my favs; -Avocado Toast (add eggs over easy on top) -Baja Breakfast Burrito (skip the cheese add extra salsa) -Under "Snacks" the Guacamole + Chips + Salsa was an entire meal it was so large - the guac was fresh and so tasty! -Blackened Fish Tacos - amazing!!!! -Morning Express, don't order "sourdough" it's just white bread, otherwise it was tasty The service we received from the hostesses and each of our waiters was great. We weren't in a hurry so having a more laid back server was great for us. ***HEADS UP! They add a built in gratuity to the bills. This little eatery is located on the fourth floor of the Venetian towers. It's set on the pool deck, so it's a nice place to get some eats and some drinks if you're lounging at the pool for the day, or if you just want to have a bite and enjoy the sunshine and the view. (you won't get the direct rays of the sun until around 2 o'clock in the afternoon, so anything earlier you may need a light hoodie or sweater.) We were seated quickly; however, no one came by our table for about six or seven minutes. We ordered coffee and orange juice, and had to remind the server to bring our drinks. We decided to split a breakfast which was the Hickory smoked bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich served with potatoes. The sandwich had a nice thick layer of scrambled eggs with thick applewood smoked bacon on a brioche bun. The sandwich was good; however, the potatoes it was served with lacked flavor. The coffee we ordered tasted terrible, and the cream that we put in the coffee curdled at the top which made it rather disgusting. The service throughout our experience was less than average. I am loving the newly redesigned Venetian pool deck! Spritz is definitely a step up from Riva. The restaurant itself is quite pretty! Very contemporary Mediterranean chic. White beams, cool-toned wood and eye-catching blue tiles. Perfect Instagram fodder! When my close friends let me know that they had a staycation planned at The Venetian, and were planning a pool day, we were so excited to meet them there! This restaurant is located inside The Venetian Pool area. They have a beautiful covered patio where you can sit and enjoy your meal poolside, or you can take it to go (like we did) and eat it at your spot at the pool. I believe they are recent to open, but glad there's a spot where guests have the option to choose whether or not to dine there or take it to go. I ordered the avocado toast and the All American breakfast for my husband. The process was quite easy. Jazmin (spelling?) was the one to help us out and take our order. She was super kind and helpful. We placed our order then walked over to the bar area to order drinks. By the time we got back over to the food area, our food was ready to go and packaged nicely. The avocado toast was delicious! They actually gave two pieces of toast, so obviously I didn't even finish it haha. It was a lot! The prices here are pretty standard when it comes to hotel in Vegas prices. Definitely higher, but I feel like the quality and portions of food was substantial. 4th Floor of the Venetian in the Pool Area, you must show your room key to enter the space. Open Air Dining, there is Bar seating and Tables; the hostess will seat you. I opted for Bar seating and with the high chairs it's a great view of the Pool Area. Here for breakfast, I arrived right at the 8a opening time and food cane out in less than 10 min. Sangria, Bottle of Water and Breakfast Sandwich w/Hashbrowns. Food tasted great! Scrambled egg was fluffy, bacon crispy with 2 slices of cheese and wonderful Brioche. Luved the Hashbrowns, they're in some sort of square shape and pretty decent size. Sangria was well balanced and worked well as a breakfast cocktail. Servers were attentive and friendly. $53.08 for the meal, cocktail, Bottle of Water, tax and Automatic Gratuity at 18%. I share this to set proper expectations. Decor definitely gives a resort vibe. We ate at Spritz twice while staying at The Venetian. We sat near a splash pad with a coastal mural that was beautiful and ambient. The DJ played great music that offered a chill soundtrack during the meal. But the best part of Spritz was far and away our server, Sean (we hope we're spelling it right!). Sean was so fun and affable. He made us feel taken care of from beginning to end and always made sure our waters were full ("gotta stay hydrated in the desert" he said!). We enjoyed him so much that we returned the next day and requested to be seated in his section. He also made sure to point out that 18% gratuity was included on our check and even circled it for us. He really put us and our enjoyment first. As for the food/drinks - their fries and sauces were some of the best we've had. We also split a margarita pizza that we absolutely delightful. The elderflower cocktail was so bright and refreshing and the drinks were served with the fun sort of glasses and accoutrements that you would expect from an indulgent vacation spot. I think with the automatic 18% gratuity, their staff just don't care or want to make it a great experience. The scenery was great. The Venetian just unveiled their new Pool Deck June 4 amid the reopening of Las Vegas after the Coronavirus closures. One of my best girlfriends and I escaped Chicago to the Venetian for five days. We were happy to dine at Spritz everyday while we were relaxing poolside. This is an outdoor restaurant offering an American menu with a little Mediterranean influence, Serving breakfast and lunch daily. For breakfast we enjoyed the Avocado Toast (it had pomegranate seeds!), the pancakes and the breakfast burrito. For lunch we liked the flat breads, Caesar salad and the Salmon Poke Bowl. Drinks are super yummy as well! This restaurant is casual and we ate every meal in our bikinis sitting in their comfy chairs! You can also bring food To-Go to your pool lounger. First off, this is a establishment within the Venetian resort by the pool. Knowing that, the food and drinks are going to be pricey. However, I ended up here after visiting the "drinks only" bar with RIDICULOUSLY priced drinks, because I was looking for food. The food is exactly what you would expect. Quick, convenient, and not a lot of options. The drinks are cheaper here however and again there is food. The 1st day, my server Gideon apologized because I had just arrived after the kitchen closed. He invited me back the next day, and I when I showed up, he met me with great conversation, food , and drinks. Don't go here expecting an extensive menu. Go here if you are looking for great convo, nice atmosphere and want to get close to the party atmosphere without being in it. ETA, a lot of reviews complain about the 18% gratuity. It is literally posted on the menu, so it isn't a surprise. Also, you can ask the servers about it. read more
