IMAX screen and sound are impeccable - it was a little jarring at first it seemed so loud but it leveled out. One of my party needed assisted listening device. The unit we were given didn't work. Went to swap it and they said that none of them were working or other people already had them. A bit disappointing for my 81 year old mother in law who said she could hear most of the dialog but missed a few things due to the levels being too low for certain scenes. Seating, they opened the doors at 2:45 for a 3pm screening and already had the trailers running, it was so dark in there to get to the seats up three tiers of stairs was a bit challenging. Also $10.50 for a large soda. For that much I'm going to need some unleaded gas to top it off. The check in employee for the IMAX theater was also a bit clueless about what time doors opened. read more

I visited twice in the same week. The first time was on Thursday evening - beautiful space and spotless. Came back on Saturday morning and the theatre where our movie was playing was a WRECK. There was trash everywhere including on our seats. We cleared it out and let them know. They sent two people to clean it who were still there where other people stared to pile in to see the movie. Other than that, Solid, but I think that's a major major problem. read more

The problem is its marketed as lux but the cleanliness, food quality, food distribution system, broken ticket machines, dirty lobby and seats, doesn't really match. Came here this past Saturday to see The Bride, an interesting film with many unexpected surprises. Had a pleasant time at the theater. The lobby was luxurious and inviting, with self-order ticket kiosks toward the left side of the entryway, high tables on the other side, and a patio offering more seating outside. In fact, the dancing fountains out front in the Veranda plaza adds a nice touch to the overall setting. The concessions stand has unique food offerings on the menu including tacos, cheeseburgers, lumpia, rice bowls, and garlic parmesan fries. In fact, you can simply purchase food here to enjoy in the shopping center's outdoor lounging area even without seeing a movie at the theater... I know my family's done this more than once in the past to get kid-friendly bites for my nieces and nephews. Unfortunately, service is a bit slow at concessions. We were just purchasing bottled beverages on our recent visit and had quite a wait with only one lane open. Luckily, our movie-watching experience was better. Clean auditorium, comfy recliners in good condition, swivel trays and clear numbers at each seat, no crowds or obnoxious guests, great sound and picture quality on the screen, and quick and easy ticket check by staff before entering the hallway leading to the auditoriums. read more

We had heard about the 270° screens and definitely wanted to experience them for ourselves. We decided to watch the Demon Slayer Infinity Castle movie because we thought the visuals would really shine with that setup, given how colorful and stunning the animation is. The experience definitely did not disappoint. The theater essentially had three screens surrounding the audience: left, center, and right. However, we noticed that not all scenes actually used the full three screen setup. Only certain significant or impactful moments expanded across all three screens. That was a bit disappointing because we had hoped the format would be used throughout the entire movie. Overall, it was still a really cool experience. The tickets were pretty expensive, around $20 each. I also did not love the seating layout. The screens could get partially blocked when people in the rows in front of us stood up. I have been to plenty of other theaters where the rows are spaced better so that people in front do not affect your view at all. Another downside was the parking. The lot at the Veranda shopping center was really difficult to navigate and finding a spot was a pain. Still, despite those issues, it was a fun and unique experience. That said, I do not think it is something I would need to do for every movie. read more

This place is a mess... walking in there is popcorn all over the floor, I saw popcorn all the way to theater#8. The bathrooms weren't very clean either. And after our movie walking out, there was a huge fight or something going on in the front restrooms that carried on outside. There were over 10 police cars outside trying to control a mob of young adults and people screaming everywhere. Pure chaos. read more

Love the location that this theatre is in, however, do come early so you can find parking. Parking is horrible, especially on weekends, during the holidays. One of the reasons why I like coming to Veranda is because of the food selection. I love their popcorn chicken and chicken ranch flatbread. Not to mention the lumpias, which they acquired from a local restaurant called Mama's Lumpia (best lumpias in town!) Veranda recently added Screen X but it would be nice if they added a 4DX screen as well. The staff is great and always professional. Especially the young man with the glasses that was cleaning Screen 2 today. He was super polite and friendly. The seats are fairly comfortable and they recline which is a huge plus. The only issue I have with this theatre is the long wait times to get our food and the lack of cleanliness of their restrooms. One toilet was broken, the bathroom was super dirty, there was no toilet paper, and one toilet was not flushing. So yes, this theater needs some work. read more

Omg this place... I never been to a movie theater this nasty.... You would think this place is clean, fancy, and had employees with professionalism. Right when we walked in, cashier had an attitude with no hostility. Red flag number 1. I went to use the bathroom... omg trash everywhere, blood stains on toilets, and no toilet paper. Red flag number 2. Went to ticket guy to enter the hallway where the movies were playing, he did not instruct us where the theater is located, he didn't even speak.... Like what? Red flag number 3. I was so disappointed in this place because where it is located in a big simi-new shopping center you would think they would have great service and clean theater but no! Totally the opposite! It was a beautiful day to come and visit this location. Many shops nearby with a kids area to play around in the front. My first impression when I walked in was great. Nice organized and very clean. The entire staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. I wanted to thank Blenda for helping me with some movie passes that I had on me. I hope you come and check it out here. I use to come here all the time. Not so much a movie person now but wanted to see GOAT. I arrived and bought tickets at the kiosk. Stopped to get popcorn the popcorn was actually really good. They do check your purse before entering and your digital ticket. I did the movie with the bigger screen and surround sound. The chairs were plush and comfy. my only complaint was that the tables and cupholderd were not cleaned. The bathrooms were nice and clean. Overall a nice experience for $20. read more

It seems like the cleanliness at the Veranda has slipped back to the early days of Covid--when the excuse was that no one could clean due to quarantine. But what's the excuse now? The women's bathroom near the front of the cinema is consistently disgusting. The floor outside the concession stand--right next to the bathroom--is sticky, blackened, and littered with popcorn. The condiment area is no better. You've got young staff just sitting or halfway working while glued to their phones. This isn't the first or second time I've raised concerns to Veranda staff about the unsanitary conditions. And sadly, nothing seems to change. The luxury recliners have been cleaned so aggressively (or with the wrong products) that the leather is peeling and worn away. Luxury? Not anymore. I get that summer is peak movie season, and turning theaters over quickly is a challenge. But that's all the more reason to hire enough help or come up with a real plan for consistent and deep cleaning. Covid is still out here--and so are all the regular, nasty germs that don't take a summer break. You can't call yourself a luxury experience if you're not even keeping things basically clean. read more

Definitely a big difference from my first experience over a year ago. This time was a bad experience for us. Restrooms were okay. Customer service okay. Inside the actual theater room was horrible. It was very dirty , hadn't been clean since last movie. We were in number 4 row E seats 5,6. Both seats were nasty, we cleaned them ourselves and both recliners didn't work. Thats one of the main experiences of this movie theater and we couldnt even get that. Please do better for future guests cause we most likely wont be back here. read more

This is the second time we have been to this movie theater within a month. The first time we met friends, they recommended this theater. We took all our kids and everyone enjoyed themselves. The employees were very nice and helpful. The bathrooms and theater were clean. The second time, only my husband and I went, and I felt a big difference in the employees working. They were not helpful and did not seem enthusiastic to be there. The bathroom was unclean, and all but one toilet was clogged. The theater was okay, but not as clean as the previous visit. I am unsure which experience was accurate. Did we have a good day the first time, or a bad day the second time? We will give this theater one more try and see what the experience is like. It's about a 40 min drive for us, but we thought highly of the theater the first time. I will update this review after our third visit. read more

Looking at other reviews I wish we could have interacted with Terry. I bought tickets online +$10 fee (relacent info) We went to eat prior, wants more than movie snacks. Got to the theater just in time for the move, with a bag of leftovers. We were clocked at the door by an employee, she never gave her name. Immediately, said we can't come in with food, before I could explain we were from out of town interrupted to tell me it's the policy and take it up with the GM. She offered to book us for the next showing. In doing so, informed of an upcharge for a different thator +$30. All this just to carry our leftovers into the theater. This is ridiculous. So, I walk back to the hotel to put our food in the room. When we got back they barley checked us in, definitely profiles upon the initial arrival. Enjoyed the movie and the seats are comfortable, but the customer service is trash. read more

This was my first visit to a theatre w/reclining seats & served alcohol. We sat in theatre X which is kind of an immersive experience. The picture is expanded on the left & right walls. It was different. The reclining seats are a nice touch. I really tried not to fall asleep. I'll have to rewatch Captain America. I dozed off so many times that I have no idea how the ending played out. Nachos 2outta5 They reminded me of 7-Eleven nachos sans the 7-Eleven price. Not Luxe... Ticket price was ok, $15, but once you arrive there is NO service anywhere. Nobody checked our tickets. I left to get popcorn and a water. 4 ppl in line before me, it took all of 20 minutes to spend $18 on popcorn and water. Not quite sure why the ratings are so low for this theater but I love this theater. It is a little pricey for the food, drinks and alcohol so I took off a star for that and the not so good parking but other than that, it's pretty clean. Not just clean but the customer service is pretty good and seats are all comfortable as well. I'm happy to come back to this location. read more

5/5 - Terry at Luxe Cinema Let me just say... Terry, the manager at Luxe Cinema, is the REAL star of the theater. Forget the movie--I'd come back just for his customer service alone. This man delivered such over-the-top hospitality, I felt like I accidentally walked onto the VIP list. Terry was incredibly personable, warm, and genuinely hilarious in the most effortless way. He handled everything with the perfect mix of professionalism and "I got you," making the whole experience smoother than buttered popcorn. He came over just to say hello and had genuinely nice small convo while we waited for our food. He didn't just help--he elevated my whole night w personal add ons to tell us more about the menu n his fave items .... Honestly, if great customer service was a movie genre, Terry would be the blockbuster hit. Luxe Cinema is lucky to have someone who treats guests like they're friends not just customers. I was worried about coming here after all the negative reviews. However, my experience was great, although I did come on off hours on a Monday. To begin with I went into theater 1, it's the IMAX room, the seats seem like it's in great condition and reclined (agreed it doesn't extend all the way out, maybe 15 degrees?) the room didn't smell, and everything seems clean. Service was also quick and prompt. Can speak to the service or cleanliness during peak hours, will come back next time during busy hours and see again. read more

For a relatively new facility, this place looked worn and was very dirty. There were maybe 4 employees visible and it was just a bit sad. The IMAX theater itself was nice, spacious and had good sound. However, I was really bummed to have a chair that did not recline. Overall, I was happy they showed the movie, but I probably would not pick this as my top theater. read more

First time coming here to the Kpop sing along show! We ended up having the exact same tickets as another family, since they got there first, we had to figure it out. Went to the front and the kid double checked I was at the correct place... and checked my seat numbers multiple times (initially saying that the ticket didn't show the seats - which was totally wrong). He realized I was correct and we in fact had a problem. Got a manager. Manager was young as well but kind. Tried to explain the issue with the system, but I don't care, I want to figure this out so we can sit and have fun. We ended up getting new seats which included a 5th seat because it didn't recline (which was fine and gave us a place to put bags. Also gave us comp tickets, which was ok, just not sure we want to go through that nonsense again. The concession wasn't long but the service sure was. They are all young, seem to be very checked out. They take their time, maybe to not make mistakes. Their system seems unfriendly to timeliness. Counter was nasty and greasy and sticky. Ordered two pizzas. They don't tell you it's not a full small pizza (like Pizza Hut)... it's just two slices of pizza in the box from a large pizza somewhere in the back... Last thing... no one ever checked our tickets. Not one person was checking anyone in the front. Felt very 1989. Although, I did have a question about a sense of safety... literally anyone could just walk into the theater. No one in the hallways checking tickets at the doors. Nothing. So next time you're in the area... walk on in... wait until a movie starts to go get some seats that are still empty. Came to watch Fantastic Four, employees working the concessions counter didn't seem too organized. A long queue was forming to purchase tickets with limited staffing. Men's bathroom was a mess and towel dispenser was dismantled. Paper towel scraps everywhere and hand sanitizer dispenser was filled but dirty and unpresentable. We come to this theater a lot. In the beginning it was very nice but now, not so much. The theaters are not clean, and the women's bathrooms are Always nasty! The last time I was there, the front bathroom was a complete mess and no toilet paper. I spoke with the ticket person and she just said sorry. I asked to speak to a manager, and she really didn't have much to say, just that they were short-handed. It didn't look like anyone had been in there all day. The lack of organization and efficiency at the concession counter is hard to comprehend. It seemed no one had the ability to anticipate or multitask in even the most primitive of ways. Went to the 11 AM showing of Stranger Things. We arrived 30 minutes before the start time and were seated 15 seconds before the movie started. Why? Because we spent those 30 minutes in line for popcorn and sodas! It was as if everyone behind the counter was TRYING to move as slowly as they possibly could. Could they have scooped popcorn any slower? I doubt it! On top of the slow motion nightmare that was the concession counter, we found out, as they were slowly taking our order, that the QR code that I received and had in my Apple wallet was not sufficient to proceed and I had to dig out the email for some other number they needed to "print" my tickets and use our food vouchers. This would have been good to know during the half hour we spent in line. Having everyone dig out their email confirmation surely added to the glacial pace of the lines and was easily avoidable. Considering what we paid for our tickets, I would have been incandescent with anger had I missed one second of the movie. Will I be going back? I truly don't know. read more

I love that there is a movie theater in this shopping center, it's very convenient. Additionally, it's relatively new and great seats that are comfortable and recline and nicely spaced out. Unfortunately, it appears to be poorly maintained. I went on Wednesday night and the entire theater was trashed. Bits of food and trash all over the floors in the lobby, hallway, and theater. The hard floors were disgustingly sticky. The bathroom was thrashed with toilet paper and such all over the floors. Decided to go see the new mandalorian movie for our anniversary! Well the last time we visited the lux it was an awesome experience food ordered at your seat and served! Not anymore! At the concession stand we ordered and were given a buzzer to come pick up the meals when they were done! As the clerk took our order my husband wanted the chicken bites and to upgrade the fries to Cajun. He was told there's no way to do it in the system, I ordered lumpia and garlic fries. Payment was taken. As he grabbed the popcorn, he didn't fill the bag! He left it semi closed in the middle which looked full but when I opened it the popcorn dropped in and created about 1/4 space! Then our drinks, we both ordered cherry coke. Well they were completely out of it! I settled for sprite which tasted horrible! Manager was called for me to switch to bottled sprite. While waiting for the manager, the cook came out to inform me that they had no garlic sauce to make the garlic fries I ordered! The manager seemed bothered that the fountain drink tasted funny to me! I had to defend myself by saying we ordered cherry cokes because the rest usually taste weird but you're out. I also ordered garlic fries and you're out! She shrugged her shoulders and tilted her head as to say oh well. She tells the clerk to do a refund for everything and to recharge us for the food again just to get the 1.50 refund of the drink from fountain drink to bottled. My husband had to say that we should just return everything and leave. Not a single apology from the clerk or manager. It's these small inconveniences to the patrons of these business that make people not want to go out and spend money for a crappy experience! read more
