The food and drinks were great, but the service was unimaginably slow and terrible. I ordered a Margherita Pizza and a Wise Guy. The pizza was great and I'd definitely eat it again. The Wise Guy drink was also very interesting in that it tasted like a green juice (I was all for it) and was a great spritz to sip on while waiting for anyone to come take our order. Our water was never refilled though it was empty for quite some time. While the food came out fairly quickly, everything in between was insufferably long. My friend and I ended up being there for over 2.5 hours when it could have just been an hour long lunch date.

I just dined at Verde for restaurant week and it was so good!! While the service was slow, the restaurant was busy and the waitress was very apologetic and attentive. Can we talk about how cute the restaurant is?? Our table was against a wall but it was perfect. The pizzas were delicious and starting with meatballs and a arugula salad was perfect. I just wish during restaurant week, you were still able to order off the regular menu, even when doing the restaurant week special. Just means I will have to go back! The Verde Spritz was so incredible, I could have drank a million! I definitely left feeling full and satisfied and itching to go back soon!

Very good Neapolitan pizzas in a quaint stretch of Canton. A great place for wasting away an afternoon over chewy dough and an Aperol spritz. We shared one variety with smoked mozzarella and sundried tomato pesto. With a beautiful layer of smokiness and a subtle flavor from the pesto, this pizza was more than 5 stars. I was less crazy about the mushroom pie we ordered. The cheese was tasty, but the truffle notes were somewhat overpowering and gave it primarily one flavor note.

I had a great experience at Verde, a cozy wood-fired pizza spot with a charming Italian-inspired, rustic ambiance. The atmosphere really sets the perfect mood for a relaxed, tasty meal. We ordered the Margherita pizza, which was classic and flavorful, and the Prosciutto, Fig & Arugula pizza! Both were cooked to perfection in the wood oven, giving them that authentic, smoky flavor. The staff was amazing, recommended a nice wine to compliment the meal. I definitely recommend Verde to any pizza lovers looking for a casual spot with great vibes and even better pizza.

We came here after the Army-Navy game with my family of nine. We had a reservation for 8:30, but arrived about an hour early due to when the game ended, and they were more than happy to adjust the time so we could be seated right away. We even had our own private room, separate from everyone else. Our waiter, Kirkland, was amazing--super nice, talkative, and genuinely funny. He made us laugh and made the whole experience even better. We ordered our food and it came out quickly and was SO delicious. The balsamic glaze on the salad was perfection, especially with the pears. The pizza was AMAZING. The tomato sauce on the margherita was a little sweet at first, but then I realized how perfectly it balanced with the rest of the pizza. My whole family loved it. Between our wonderful waiter and the other friendly staff, plus the cute, cozy atmosphere in such a pretty spot, this place was a win. Definitely coming back!

This is a very cute brick oven pizza place! We came here Friday night ( made a reservation for early dinner day off) and were seated immediately. Service was very quick as well. The food was good but the menu was honestly overwhelming. There are so many pizzas to choose from and the two that we ordered were average. I would prefer a more consolidated pizza selection with their top pies!

We went here for restaurant week and I really think it's one of the best places! The service was great, our server was very attentive. The food was good, like always. I really don't think I've had anything bad here before!

What amazing spot! Love that it's tucked into an inner harbor neighborhood. The potato croquettes are to die for her! Must try. The meatballs are absolutely delicious and this is from someone who doesn't eat pork. The pork did put me off a little bit, but the melting in my mouth of the meatball made it all OK.I cannot take Michelle and the expediter as well as the Kitchen for their amazing service! What an exceptional little spot a very unexpected place. The location is amazing. We will definitely be back with the full family.

Had a girls night with some friends at Verde. Service was friendly and the food was tasty. We shared the pesto trio sampler as our app. I had the quattro formaggi pizza. My friends had a margarita pizza and a cappuccetto rosso pizza. We shared gelato and tiramisu to finish our meal.

Let me set the scene: it's a sunny afternoon in Baltimore and I just finished my run along the water with my partner. We want to stop somewhere in Fells to grab a quick happy hour drink and meal post-run. We go into a few places and nothing is really jumping out at us. We go to a bar that has an overpriced greasy hand burger food truck attached to it and that just wasn't what I was feeling. Then, I remembered my friend raving about Verde and I had just seen on social media a few days before that someone had rated them the best espresso martinis in Baltimore (or at least they were towards the top of the list). I suggest we ditch Fells and head over to Canton, and I am so incredibly glad we did. Although they don't do Happy Hour, they do half price bottles of wines on Wednesdays and they have a deal on pizzas on Mondays or Tuesdays I think (I can't remember the specifics). The menu is extensive and I loved watching the chefs making the pizzas and putting them in the beautiful tiled oven. The pizzas came out quickly. I got the Il Demone, which was amazing. I truly love honey on pizza and the sun-dried tomato pesto added a little kick! My partner's margherita was awesome too. We ended up sharing half and half because we both enjoyed each other's so much! The espresso martini was good too. My friend who suggested this place is gluten free and she raved about their gluten free dough and crust. This was definitely the best pizza I have had since coming to Maryland.

Came here for dinner and had a great experience! We came for the variety of pizzas and specifically for the vegan pizza menu since two people in our group are vegan. From the moment we walked in, and throughout dinner, every employee we interacted with was friendly and attentive. Food and drinks came out very quick, hot, and delicious! For drinks, I ordered a draft beer. They have a good variety of beers, wines, cocktails and a few NA drinks. Cute atmosphere as well, and I'd love to come here again!!

We went to verde for a girl's night, and, like always, it never disappoints. One of my friends even says that it's her favorite restaurant in all of baltimore. I ordered the Cipolla pizza, and wow--the caramelized onions were cooked to absolute perfection. We shared a couple appetizers for the table; all were super fresh. The bread is always delicious (soft and warm on the inside with the perfect crunchy crust). 4 of my friends got the Margherita pizza with mixed reviews--one called it a 10/10, while another said it could use a little more cheese. Overall, everything hit the spot, and the vibe was everything we wanted for a cozy night out. Highly recommend for anyone looking for pizza with a twist. There's something on the menu for everyone!

Verde is an adorable neighborhood bar/nicer pizza place! I love the intimate feel of the older row house setting. It gets busy, so definitely make a reservation, and be prepared to get cozy with other diners. They have a wide variety of pizzas to choose from. It's good, if not the best I've had in the city. On my most recent visit we were seated outside and there were a lot of mosquitos. Luckily they were able to move us inside. Overall a good spot to grab a more upscale pizza and drink in the neighborhood.

I do like pepperoni and sausage but sometimes they are salty for me. Will suggested I get two slices of cheese and a drink and I said that sounds good. He also let me try the gelato and the caramel gelato was really good. I didn't get gelato this time but I will in my next visit. The pizza was crispy and thin and not salty. I'm still looking for a smooth sauce for some chicken parm, but no worries since the menu here has plenty of different sauce options! I enjoyed the chicken francese. The chicken was very tender and it was a generous portion. I felt it could have used a bit more flavor, but the sauce was a nice consistency and the linguine was cooked perfectly.
