Exceeded expectations for a museum restaurant space. Looking at the food selection, which is mostly lunch options, I see there is intentionality behind the menu. Some of the plates are inspired by the exhibits in the Perez Art museum, while others are personal to the executive chef and her Venezuelan culture. Service was attentive, friendly and again exceeded expectations considering even so called fine dining restaurants have been straying away from true hospitality. I'm usually a solo diner, and on a weekday I had no problem getting seating inside. Outside has limited tables, and the hostess told me reservations usually ask for outside so it was recommended to book a reservation if you are looking for specific seating. Now for food, starting with the small plates I had the Artist Palette, a beautiful and creative take on a starter dish of dips and bread. I also am a fan of cachapas so was curious about the Cachapa Brûlée. Definitely a smaller plate, if you are hungry I recommend this one only as a starter. I loved the whipped feta, it gave a nice saltiness in contrast to the sugar Brulé topping on the Cachapa. 5/5 For the entree I went with the more American traditional choice, the Verde Burger. I'm vegetarian and they had a beyond patty replacement. No complaints about the burger, delicious and filling. I was told on Thursdays from 5 to 8 there is a happy hour offered with some select plates for $9 and select cocktails for $10. Definitely going to try out the happy hour another night! read more

We had a great dining experience at Verde, even while their outdoor dining space was closed for an event. They were only serving handheld options in togo boxes, but we were still able to sit inside. Our food was absolutely delicious. The fish tacos were SO GOOD. They were the perfect combination of sweet and sour from the pineapple and pickled onions and savory from the fish and sauce on top. The chicken club was tender and juicy and paired well with the tomato, bacon, and greens it came with. It wasn't as mind-blowing in flavors as the fish tacos, but we had a member of our party who only eats chicken, so we were very glad to find a place serving it. We had lunch at this cafe while visiting the PAMM on a Saturday. It's a cute spot located next to the museum with beautiful water views and a very nice ambience. There was a bit of a wait to be seated outside but we are so glad we were able to. The service was great! The food was good overall but a bit pricy for the portion size. my experience here is limited but i like what i got. When at the museum attending an artist talk i was hoping to grab some there after.... but by the time i made it down they were closing in 20 min.. so rather than order a meal i grabbed an iced americano and one of their cookies.... peanut butter cup cookie to be exact. 5 Stars for a great menu, an unbeatable view and location, and friendly staff! Ok so let me start by acknowledging the prices. When you have an ambiance like this, you expect to pay a premium. With that being said, the food lives up to the prices. They could've phoned it in with the menu, but I was really impressed by the options and my kale and Brussels salad was really really good. And the grilled shrimp I added were so incredibly fresh and succulent. In terms of drinks, I saw several cocktails served at tables near us and they looked SO GOOD! Truthfully, the food, the serving, the atmosphere were amazing. Just a sampling of what we enjoyed were the artist's palette, a sampling of colorful dips served with really good bread; Street Corn Arancini, they kindly brought me a serving without the bacon; the brick chicken was delicious; one in our party thought the short rib ragu served on pappardelle was the best ever. My favorite was the Mojito Cubano Tiradito, a ceviche with jello shots.The desserts are a sight to be seen - I'm partial the pavlovas, this one is delicious, though a touch too sweet. I was very disheartened by the service today. Went to cafe around 4PM and asked for a soy decaf latte with no foam. The barista who prepared it handed me a latte half filled with foam. I politely asked if the person who took my order had communicated my request for no foam. She said yes. I showed her that half the cup was foam. She said "I don't think it is but I can steam more milk." Her tone was annoyed. I told her she could just scoop out foam and add more milk. She remade the drink and I'm pretty sure it wasn't decaf because I was hyped up afterwards. Very unfortunate that a customer cannot communicate dissatisfaction without encountering major attitude. Wow, I absolutely loved Verde. We booked a resi here before spending the day at the Frost museum and it was delightful. The ambiance when you sit outside is amazing as you are looking at the Miami skyline of Downtown and it's also waterfront. We opted to start with bloody Mary's which were great. We also ordered a ceviche as an appetizer. They offer a kids menu, so we got chicken tenders for my niece. The plate is huge and she ate it all, so definitely kid approved. The menu has pizzas and entrees but I opted for the Pérez chopped salad and added salmon. It was delicious and the perfect fuel for taking two little kids to the museum. The salad comes with baby gem lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, roasted corn, dates, chickpeas, mint, crispy quinoa, feta cheese, and pickled shallot. Healthy and filling! This was my first visit to Verde on 1/29/26! My friend, Carol, and I had fabulous service, the most wonderful food, and an experience we will never forget! I told our waitress that they need to open a Verde in Jacksonville and she told the manager. The manager, Daniel Florit, came over and shared some of his time. I've never been treated with such kindness by any manager/restaurant. He then comped one of our deserts (pictured here) the Lavendar Pavlova, an absolutely heavenly desert! We have been twice this month to the museum and restaurant and both times folks in our party were served cold, dry, unspiced schwarma chicken and fries that were too salty to eat. The restaurant Verde is a nice idea. Indoor and outdoor seating with good food right in the art museum is fantastic. The wait staff were also pleasant and quick. The food exceeded my expectations in terms of plating (I had the risotto which looked like an art piece). But I couldn't help but think that $33 for a plate of what is essentially rice cheese and a few vegetables is insane even at an art museum. The rice was also a bit undercooked and I didn't leave as satiated as I would have liked. All that being said it is a nice restaurant in a museum experience which isn't something you get to experience every day. Verde is a nice place to stop in for a meal or drink while visiting the Perez Art Museum of Miami (PAMM). As members, we can come and see all of the exhibits, stop by for second Saturday, and pause here for a reprieve. The waterfront views are nice, and having the ability to get some fresh air while grabbing a meal isn't half bad either! I love the Perez chopped salad with salmon - at around $30 the price is a bit higher compared to most other dining options. It would be great to have more plant-based options as well as the same for kids. Came by for lunch before a museum visit and the whole experience was excellent! Our party of three shared the mezze platter which was very flavor-filled and lovely. I then opted for the chopped salad which was perfectly balanced. The rest of the table ordered sandwiches and the eggplant flatbread, all of which were swiftly consumed with delight. We were in Miami for a matinee show at the Arsht Center and we were being treated for the day...and the organization picked Verde (attached to the Perez museum) for our brunch before the show. We don't live in Miami so we don't head down to that area much, so it was a pleasant surprise. There is a lot to take in. The views from the restaurant and outside are wonderful and make for many nice photo ops. Parking: we parked in the PAMM parking garage attached to the Perez Museum & Frost Museum. It is $15 for the day - so definitely a bargain - considering parking for the Arsht is $30. Service: service was friendly and our server, Jane, was very knowledgeable about the menu and going on at the museum. Food & Drink: my husband started with a Bloody Mary. He was happy it was spicy. Our server mentioned the mix was vegan and very good. They had both virgin & with alcohol. I opted for an oat milk cafe con leche. Our daughter had sparkling water. My husband started with the beef empanadas. He said they were amazing. He mentioned the chimichuri sauce was okay but the empanadas were delicious and served at the perfect temp. He did wish that there had been other filling flavors available, but I think he secretly was happy he didn't have to share. For his meal he had the chicken club. He appreciated that the chicken was the same size as the bread but found the chicken over cooked and only had a small slice of avocado per side. The side salad was nothing to write home about. My daughter and I both had the smoked salmon Benedict with the hollandaise sauce on the side. They were served on potato latkes (really more like potato kugel than a latke - but very good). The poached eggs were perfectly cooked. We opted for fries instead of salad. The fries were perfectly seasoned. Dessert: my daughter chose the chocolate cake from Fireman Derek. It was so good! Not over overly sweet and nice and chocolaty. The restaurant was very clean and we opted to eat inside since we had spent an hour outside taking photos. The museum store is attached and there is a small coffee/snack area for Togo items. All in all it was a great experience. We didn't have to let them know we were being treated by an amazing organization. They didn't make it awkward. We look forward to checking it out again next time we are in the area. read more
