Pizza is good. I'm not usually partial to sweet sauce, but this pizza I enjoy as a change once in a while. Specialty pizzas are also very good. Sandwiches and dinners are also descent. I think the prices are fair. We have only tried the pizza. We love the specialty pizzas. Ohhhh, they are loaded with delicious, great quality toppings!!!! I don't like a soggy pizza and with all the toppings and cheese it was soggy once. Now I ask them to make the crust crispy (not well done) so I can pick it up (and not use a fork). Mmmmmmm. So yummy. I love this place. 1. Food = Excellent. Amazing greek style pizza! The subs are stuffed full and delicous, both hot and cold. 2. Pricing = resonable. I agree that menu prices do not always match what's charged, but my menu is also 3 years old. My favorite place to get pizza in Hudson. Their pizza has a sweet sauce that has grown on me. The crust is a Greek style, nice and crispy and full of flavor. Let me start by saying the pizza is delicious--by far my favorite in Hudson. However- the prices are INSANE! I was charged and additional $1.24 for delivery (btw I asked if there was a minimum or charge and was told NO), and they charged me an additional $2.00 for using a credit card to pay over the phone. First i asked for a total, and the man asked to call me back (which is fine) but when it took almost 30 minutes and another 25 minutes for my food, there is a problem. Then there was a hair in my pizza. When i called and asked to speak with a manager they told me they were to busy. Then we got disconnected. I called back and the manager answered the phone. I told her about the hair and that the person i spoke to was rather rude. She told me that we don't have anyone that is rude working here. A little story (note: prices and quotes may vary as this happened about a year ago): One day, I went the Subway across the street and left without buying chips. I drove to building where Veria Pizza is located and went into the neighboring convenient store for chips, but they were too pricey for me. I proceeded next door to Veria Pizza and noticed a nice chip display with numerous rows of various chips. Each row platform had a banner across it listing prices. Each of the banners had the same price. I grabbed a medium-sized bag of chips and purchased them. The price I payed was about a dollar more than what was listed on the banner. I'm timid, so I just payed it and began to leave. While walking away, I did turn around and say "Hey, just so you know, your display lists everything as $1. You might want to update your displayed prices so they match what you're charging." The employee didn't acknowledge the fault and just told me, "That bag is bigger so it costs more." -- "Yeah, but that's not what's advertised on the display." -- "It costs more because it's a bigger bag." I left with my bag of chips and swore never to step foot in there again. read more

We have been ordering the "Calzone Pizzas" from Veria Pizza for several years now.... We typically order a Pepperoni, or Meat Lovers, and the Greek Pizza Calzone when our daughter in law visits. We love it. we always order it without sauce and ask for the sauce "on the side"....it is great sauce and the Pizzas are stuffed with gooey cheese and fillings. We've also ordered subs, salads and regular pizzas but the Pizza Calzones are our favorites. Delivery Service is always as promised so no complaints with delays ever.
