TL;DR Moaavia B. is the most unprofessional person to ever have worked anywhere in customer service due to lack of transparency and communication with product warranties ON TOP of having poor customer service skills that ultimately reflect on a store manager's inability to properly train their employees. Now I must preface this review with the fact that the frustration behind our experience stems from 2 different encounters (one on the 23rd of February and a second visit on the 15th of March) as well as even more frustrating things we ran into even AFTER the shitty second visit. I'm going to break the events down into separate paragraphs so it's as easy to follow as I can make it so it's as transparent as possible about our entire experience with the store. There is a REASON this store gets 1 star reviews and I implore you to read a few of them before doing any kind of business here. First visit: We were picking up a new phone along with a few other accessories such as a tempered glass screen protector (this item is important for the whole review) and a case. There was a kid behind the counter named Moaavia B. who rang us up (and we have proof of the teller name on our receipt) and told us that the items we purchased were "warrantied" and we could just bring them in and we would be helped out with, "no charge". He applied the screen protector for us, but didn't give us the box (this is also important to the story) and let us keep a little card from the inside that just had a website of the screen protector company's product registration page. This was confusing but we didn't think anything of it since he said if we needed a replacement, all we had to do was bring it in. So we were interpreting two separate sources of information in terms of a "warranty". Second visit: The screen protector that we purchased broke so we went in on the 15th of March (keep in mind this is still less than 30 days from the original purchase on the 23rd of February) to take advantage of this warranty he talked about. Moaavia was at the teller again, and we told him about our broken screen protector so he began to help us out.He began to charge us for $39.99! We brought up the warranty he mentioned before but we didn't bring our receipt because we thought he could just look it up in the terminal, and when he finally found our transaction, he just bumped it down to $15.99? Now I know what you're thinking: we should have just taken the $15.99 since that's already more than 50% off. However, a few things drew immediate red flags both during AND after the terrible exchange we had at this store. For one thing, why was he still charging us after he told us the first time that we wouldn't have to pay anything if anything happened to our items? We explained what he had said before that there would be "no charge" and they would help us out and do you want to know what this golden representation of customer service said? He said, "I never said that". WHY WOULD WE COME TO THE STORE WITH THAT INFORMATION THEN??? This made my husband furious because he was flat-out LYING in front of his coworkers. He started a scene and called out Moaavia for scamming customers like that (when in reality, it was just a HUGE lack of transparency and the teller's inability to educate us on the proper process of the true warranty procedure). Instead of trying to de-escelate the situation, Moaavia yelled back at us and forced us out of the store. It seems that he couldn't come up with another excuse as to why he was lying through his teeth so he escalated to just getting rid of the problem as soon as he could. Post-shitty experience with this Victra location: I found the customer service line with the help of google and figured I'd ask if they could help me answer the questions that the clearly inexperienced teller couldn't. The lady I spoke with on the phone gave me the best customer service I've ever received and I made sure to tell her direct supervisor what a wonderful job she was doing. Basically, the screen protector comes with a separate "pure pledge" that must be registered online to actually get the warranty and they'd send us a replacement free of charge. This is the first of the many things Moaavia failed to communicate to us. Once we learned of this, we began to register our product through the product's website. This is where we realized that there was more than just the information about the warranty that wasn't provided for us. On the registration page, you need 2 things: the item's UPC/ SKU number and something called the "pure pledge code". Why was this frustrating? If you remember from the paragraph about our first visit, he didn't give us the box. This effectively made our experience with this store drop even FURTHER below rock bottom as we realized we might not even qualify for these two things all because of the incompetent kid at the cash register. Purchased a charger to use in the car for the phone. It didn't work tried to return for refund, the next day less than 12 hours later. "Sorry all sales are final?" I found the customer service in the store very bad. When I first stepped into the store. The first thing I noticed. There was no merchandise on the wall. The walls were empty. There was one clerk in the store. Working on one customer. With two more customers in a line behind them. They said they would be with me in a few minutes. About 45 minutes later The clerk finally came to me. When I told them what I needed to do with my new iPhone. They said we don't do that at the store. We are a franchise. Unless you want to pay $29.99. Here's the part that bothers me about this. Do you think after making me wait almost an hour. You would be wanting to provide customer service. Or to be more organized. I originally had a great experience going into the store. But like another review said here, in store at the initial purchase they are super helpful and polite. Be careful of what you are tricked into getting. Originally, my boyfriend and I were just inquiring about prices since I was convincing him to leave Sprint to come to Verizon. Abel assured us that if we turned the phone in to him that Verizon would pay the phone off. In retrospect, I should have gotten him to write that out and sign it because a month after, Sprint was asking us for the payment. When I called the store, it was definitely Abel on the phone pretending to not be himself though I recognized his voice. He told us that there would be no way we were told Verizon would pay off the phone because it's not something they do. When we tried to speak to a manager, he said he was in a meeting and couldn't talk and that if we want to escalate the situation, to just call customer support only to hang up on us. Extremely rude experience after being lied and tricked into signing a contract. Be very careful when coming here and do not trust what you are being told by Abel. read more

I can't remember the names of the two young men who helped me on the afternoon of June 25, 2017 but they were very helpful. I needed a temporary SIM card for my unlocked phone. Horrible experience at this store, I would avoid all Victra Verizon stores, go to the Verizon store on Habor and Orangethorpe. They lie about promotions they offer you, once you sign up, and pass the 15 day mark you are stuck. All the employees are on their cell phones, no one really cares about helping the customers. Called 611 to to speak with customer service while at the store, the workers didn't want to speak to Verizon, The agent on the phone said the store would be written up . Avoid avoid avoid, and they lock their front door because they lie to customers and don't want them coming back in. There is a reason why this store has 1 star !! I went there with my family to sign up 2 lines. The store manager was very rude, she has a very sassy attitude which comes off very RUDE! Either way, we drove down for an iPhone 6 which they had in stock for 299.00 BUT when we got there they said we needed to buy a package with the phone which was another 100.00 on top of the 299.00. AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COST!!! So this will be a long one I hope you read it! We went into this store on April 5 wanting a pixel. Walked in Becky assisted us. Praised this awesome deal we would get a tablet for free! Awesome right?! Nope we traded in a iPhone 6s Plus. Bill was promised to be no more than 101 with taxes. 1st month 146 2nd month 136 we go in to the store talk to the "store manager" and was inform it would take a month to bare with them...so we did. 3rd month still 116 not what was promised. Manager says one more month apparently at this time he realized the phone was never sent to their trade in warehouse. He gave us "district managers" email informed us to email him. 2 emails nothing. So now this month bill once again 146. We go to a corporate Verizon store was informed there was no records of any phone being turned In and since this is a THIRD PARTY store we had to deal with them. I called customer service only to be told to deal with store we deal with the store manager mind you we didn't know this was the store manager! Every time we walked in he was sitting in the corner on his phone while we continuously were told lies. He has a "district manager" Juan Gallegos on the day phone for us to speak too, most disrespectful man I've talked to! This district manager is not even a district manager he is a store manager "acting district Manager" he gladly told us to leave Verizon. So as of today good bye. I wish I would have read these before handing all my money over to them last night. I was lied to and told that they were doing the same thing, and better for me than what I was going to do online. Had I upgraded online myself, I would have saved $200!!! Merry Christmas to me! I was ripped off!!! and all after I told them how I couldn't afford to pay more out of pocket, I just kept getting asked if I wanted $200 rebates, of course I want $200, but not to pay $700 to get $200!!!! Went in to get my screen protector replaced & I've never had any issues at any other Verizon stores. I bought the screen protector at another Verizon & they let me know whenever I need it replaced I just walk in & they look up my info & they replace it which is what other Verizon stores have done for me with great service. I went into this Verizon today & tried getting my screen replaced & the guy said he would need the original box & receipt which doesn't make any sense because the screen protector doesn't even come in a box. He didn't even bother looking up my account information or offer any kind of help just refused to help me & didn't even make eye contact. Probably the worst service I've ever had at a Verizon & I was only in there two minutes & I walked out. I dropped my IPhone 6 Plus on the floor yesterday and broke the screen. Went this Verizon store and they hooked me up. They are so different from any other Verizon store. They are so awesome. Best customer service we have ever received in almost 10+ years that we have been with Verizon. Kudos to Louis, Luis, Manager Michael and a couple of other guys that I didn't get there names. I went to this location on 2/22. The doors were locked the whole time we were in the store. We ended up spending over 3 hours in the store to purchase 5 devices. The employee informed us that the doors are always locked for safety reasons (not true - this is a fire hazard). They charged us a "setup and go plus" charge of $20 per item purchased even though they never took phones out of the boxes to set up. They also charged a Redux membership which they didn't inform me about at $30 for 2 devices and $10 for 3 devices (1 of which had nothing to do with what we went into the store about). They never informed me that I could turn in my old phone that I was making payments on to remove the payments and now they claim they don't except Verizon phones to send back to Verizon because they are only a retailer and not a corporate store. I have been forced try to figure out my invoice from this store as well as my new invoice with Verizon to try to understand all of these bogus charges. Take the time to either purchase online or find a real Verizon store instead of going through the same headache I am currently dealing with. read more

First, this store is not a corporate store. Background. We transferred four lines to Verizon in this store (Victra) less than a week ago. One of the sim card has an issue. I called tech support and they confirmed it. Called Victra today (3/27) and told them the issue with the sim card and if they can replace it. Yes, they can replace it for $10. Why do we have to pay to replace a defective sim card? The guy told me if you want a free replacement (very cold tone - all our sim cards are inventoried), go to a corporate store (there's one not too far from here he said). I told him there are no nearby corporate stores that are still open (I guess he didn't know) due to the corona virus. Why is it that when they are getting your business, they are so, so nice. Once they get your business you become so so. Being nice goes out the door. I DO NOT recommend Victra. Please go somewhere else. Please do not give Victra your business.
