I stopped by to buy two iPhones 17. As a 20+ year customer, I've always shopped here for any in person transaction. The service was horrible. I walked in to an empty store and two customers sitting by the window. About 5-7 minutes later, a man walked in with tools like he was going to fix something, knocked on a side door, and two young guys walked out. There was nothing said. Not a greeting, we'll be right with you... nothing. The young black guy (didn't catch his badge to get his name) walked to a guy at the table. Okay, he was busy. Caleb.... Nothing said at all. It was like I was invisible. A couple walked in and he must've been helping them because he said something to them about devices. Whatever. I checked online for additional stores and that's when I realized that the store is no longer a Corp. Verizon store . The service was horrible so I left. When you go to Verizon in Apex ask for Courtney. I bought a new iPhone 16 and wanted to move my information from my iPhone 10. The Verizon store in Cary told me it was easy to do online. After spending all day and working with 2 online "experts" I still had no results. Courtney fixed it in about 20 minutes. I am sticking with Verizon only because of Courtney. Better off going to a "real" Verizon ie corporate store. I bought a new phone from them, went through the transferring of data (not free) and when I refused to purchase all the add ons cases, chargers etc (over $300 worth) Brianna had a sudden attitude change and summarily told me she couldn't activate my phone. And she deactivated my old phone so I had no phone at all. I went to the Cary store on Walnut St and they couldn't have been nicer. Lesson learned. read more

A day before coming into the Apex location, I purchased a new phone at the Cary store and switched from T-Mobile to Verizon. I had 24 hours worth of issues and my phone would not recognize my number, nor would it accept or send calls or texts. I came into the Apex store, and Breanna went above and beyond to get all of my issues resolved. She spent around 2 hours on the phone with tech support until they finally resolved the issue and got my phone to work. I highly recommend visiting this Verizon store and seeking out Breanna for any assistance you may need. Her outstanding customer service truly made a difference. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!!! We went to this location and dealt with Brianna as we were switching all 6 of lines. We were quoted a price previously which was much less than what we were paying and getting the promotion of upgrading our phones as well-with 6 lines we thought this would be great. We paid all the fees including activation fees, etc. which was well over $600. We had to return one of "brand new" phones b/c it was locked up from another company (so it seemed it was previously owned and need a special way to by-pass in order to unlock it), which they gave us a hard time about it. Next, we get a bill from Verizon which was literally triple what we signed for. We called Verizon directly and they told us that this store is probably a 3rd party store and we paid their fees, not Verizons. At no point were we ever told this was a 3rd party store and I only found this out by coming onto this website. The bill we got from Verizon which prompted the call was over $700. We just received another bill for another $700 and are currently on the phone with Verizon again....our bill not including the internet we decided to go with should be about half this. This "Verizon Store" is deceptive and honestly, I think they are also trying to pass off used phones as brand new on top of it. We were with AT&T for 15 years and I feel we made a huge mistake. Like a pervious person on these reviews said, they did nothing but give us false information throughout our entire transaction. We also were told by Verizon that Brianna had apparently added other things added to our plan without our knowledge. I have driven back to this store to triple check and there is absolutely nothing in, on or around this store that gives any indication that they are not with Verizon. read more

I purchased a phone a week ago and was supposed to be called back about a second phone for my husband that was ordered while I was in the store. I was told the phone would be in the store by Thursday and someone would call me. I called Thursday to follow up to make sure the phone was in the store and was told someone would get back to me. I called again on Friday then on Saturday and this morning Monday. All I am able to reach is a call center every time I call and leave a message...I never get a call back. I also have my old phone that was supposed to be returned for credit to my account. Terrible customer service. I am thinking of canceling my Verizon account and going with another carrier. read more

I went into this location thinking it was a company owned Verizon store. Once I found out it wasn't, I should have just left. The "salesman" did nothing but lie to me and give me false information about every aspect of my transaction. I had to spend over 3 hours on the phone with Verizon (the actual Verizon) fixing what was done incorrectly at this location. Just received my gift cards that I was told I could use to pay off AT&T and guess what, it is a Verizon gift card, not able to be used anywhere but Verizon. Today I was experiencing phone issues (can't text or call). My bill is up to date, etc so I stopped in to see if someone could assist. The gentleman working the far left corner said there was (is) a huge Verizon outage going on today and it's not just me. I left thinking, ok, I'll just wait it out. Funny enough, not even ONE person today I have crossed paths with has had any issues at all. Nobody is aware of any issues. I had my friends on Verizon confirm in person today that they weren't have any issues and they even tried looking up issues online. Nothing. I finally got home tonight after being gone most of the day and not having connectivity. I got online and sure enough, I can't find a single outage. So now rather than having assisted me, I'm still stuck with no service. I've tried multiple chat sessions on the Verizon site to no avail. I can't get a live agent to save my life. None of the numbers will ring for me. And now I will have to (I suppose) drive back into the Verizon location yet again. First world issue for sure but geez what a pain. It's like it was a canned response to me to not deal with helping the customer. And I fell for it. Long time VZN customer too... read more

Sent my wife to the nearest Verizon to see if they could fix the problem with her phone. We've had mixed results from resellers in the past. Thankfully, this reseller was courteous and helpful, and didn't try to sell her a new phone. They identified the sim card as the cause and $11 later my wife's phone is working great without heartache. We'll definitely return to this store when it's time to upgrade! read more

I came to Yelp to write my first review ever because I was so INCENSED by my experience at this store. I had a similar experience as Tom T's review - promised a higher trade-in and then it was not honored, except my phone had to be ordered and once we discovered the deceit, I did not accept delivery of the phone. I contacted Verizon's customer service department and they fixed it, setting up the credit on my account which would activate once the trade in was received. I then contacted the Apex location again and told then we would come back to pick up the phone. I was rudely told that they were not a corporate store and did not have to honor what customer service said and that they canceled my order. We resolved this issue by going straight to the Apple store. They had the phone in stock, it worked out to be the same price, they handled everything smoothly and we were treated the way customers should be - with respect. If you choose to take advantage of a Verizon promotion, please be sure to avoid this location and go to a corporate owned store. Before realizing we could go straight to Apple, we visited the Verizon store on Walnut Street. They did not have the phone in stock, but supported our decision to go directly to the Apple Store and explained what we would need to do if Apple was unable to connect the new device. Fortunately, that was not an issue. I see that Victra responded to Tom T's review. I have emailed them and will update this review if they respond and provide some resolution. Went in to do the promotion get a 5g phone on us. Was told we would get around 700 for each of our phones. Ordered the new phones set up all the changes for our service. Phones came in early picked them up. Everything seemed great turned our old phones in in the 10 day time period got told it would take a few billing cycles to see the credit for them its been about 3 months come to find out the actually only gave us 100 each for our note 9's. Ive purchased 6 phones all flagship phones or one step down from this store 2 times in cash. I will never do business with this store again. Dont waste your time go to a actual verizon store. Unless you want to get scammed out of 1200 bucks this this is your place. Fyi i was going to sell my old phones else where but was offered only 450 each that was a in-person offer after the inspected the phones. We were assisted by Philipe and he was very knowledgable on phone types, function, cost and made recommendations as well. STAY AWAY!!! This is a resller and should not be trusted. They are only there to sell. We went to move to a family plan and were sold a plan that came with Disney+, ESPN+, and Apple Music. The salesman suggested we do a business plan my in-laws had already set up. Long story short, we were sold a plan that doesn't exist. We were then moved over to a personal plan but did not receive the plan benefits. We were then told to go back to the business plan. Low and behold, after 3 months all of the subscription services ended and we were told they are not included in a business plan. On top of that I paid $1,000 to pay off my old phones with another carrier because Verizon was offering a $500 credit per device you brought over. Well, 6 months later still no device credit. I've been told the District Manager would give me a call but never has. I've tried to call the store for them to only pass me around and eventually hung up on me. They will SELL YOU ANYTHING to make their commission whether the plan exists or not. You are better off just going to the corporate store, not an authorized reseller but there is nothing in the store that tells you that they are not with VERIZON. BUYER BEWARE! read more

I was helped by Karina who was quick to assist me and listened to all my concerns about my devices. She explained my plan thoroughly with me and was so personable the whole time! Watch out for hidden fees. The salesperson was Brielle. Upgraded my daughter's phone. Was told the monthly cost was $30. It was actually $31.67 and taxes to be paid at the store would be $100. The actual taxes were $71.69. They add a $19.99 setup and go fee and $8.99 for Hand sanitizer and Donation(which I was never given an option if it were a donation). Was told the bill would be sent to the email which was never received. Went to return a couple of accessories, same story, bill via email, until I refused to leave the store without a printed receipt. First, it would not print and asked for the manager, was advised he is not there now. Told her I'll wait in-store till I get it in the email or a printed receipt and vola the printer suddenly cooperated.
