Went to the store 45 minutes before closing and the doors were locked. There was an employee and a customer inside. I kept pulling on the door because I knew it was nowhere near closing and the employee just looked at me. No assistance, no explanation. Just ignored me and the door stayed locked. I went to this store because I tried to make a claim online for a damaged phone. When I walked into the store, there were 5 employees in a huddle having a conversation. I figured since I was the only customer in the store, I would receive some assistance. I explained the problem I had online and asked for assistance. The only assistance I received was to call (888) 881-2622 and they can assist me. Why should there be five employees in a store but no one offered to assist me in the store. It's BAD, I paid $150 for them to get my phone fixed, they couldn't do it, and they didn't even give me a refund, now, I know I sound stupid saying that, but they could have gave me a little bit of a refund, just don't try, it sucks, you'll waste your money on some dumb shit like this. read more

I walked into the store to pick up a phone and there was one associate assisting a client. I waited for 10 minutes and the employee did not acknowledge me, say hello, let me know they'd be with me in a minute. I felt ignored. Customer service should not feel this way. Do better Verizon. read more

Avoid! The manager (Chris) damaged my phone because he didn't have a tool to open the sim tray. CS sent me back to them the next day when I asked for a new tray, but said they wanted to give me a new phone (overkill.) I drove an hour to get there and got the same guy who then called me a liar and refused to help me, and then I got the message (attached) saying they wouldnt do anything OR give me a sim card either. They eventually offered me a $50 credit but I havent seen that yet. I left the store and went across the street to T-Mobile and I'm moving all 8 lines including military over to that platform. There is no way I am going to pay someone to talk to me like that and humiliate me in the middle of a crowded store. Why would CS send me back to a heated and a bad situation? I'm done. read more

I just needed to take a minute to commend the staff of this Verizon store especially Keenan. They were so helpful and professional. I'm not a Verizon customer, and I'm definitely glad I'm not if the customer service I received at this particular location is the normal standards for Verizon. My boyfriend seems to have the worst luck with phones, so when yet another one of his phones went out of commission we were fortunate enough to have a backup Verizon phone on hand for him to use. We are long-term AT&T customers, so we had no idea that newer Verizon phones are actually all sold unlocked. We thought we needed to get the phone unlocked at a retail store. This led us to swinging by this particular location because we happened to be in the area. This Verizon is located inside the Edgewood Retail District. There's an open lot available to park in or there's also covered parking inside the parking garage. Free parking is always a great feature in Atlanta. It was hard for us to find because the directory for this shopping center hasn't been updated yet. It's located right next to Willy's, across the street from Mattress Firm and Subway. When we walked in there were four employees on their phones at the one table they had available with seating. There wasn't a single customer in sight. Out of the four employees we were only acknowledged and assisted by one. Seemed like John and I were interrupting their music jam session, and it felt really unwelcoming. We weren't offered seats at all, they continued to sit there on their phones or doodling. When we inquired about unlocking the phone the gentleman who actually acknowledged us, Jamal, didn't seem like he really wanted to take time out of his busy day to assist us, but instead kept insisting that we "just Google it". He must have noticed that we weren't very amused by his response because if we would've known what to "just Google" then we would have done it without taking the time out of our day to stop by. Sorry that we all do not have the same level of knowledge about cell phones and the network settings in order to not bother these hardworking Verizon employees. Jamal earned this location an additional star for finally helping us get the network settings correct after we had to reiterate that we needed assistance. I wasn't pleased with the customer service offered here, and maybe that's why I have no interest in switching over to Verizon. Maybe they were just taking advantage of a slow day, but either way I don't see myself needing to come back here to feel like a nuisance. read more

I am so appreciative for the staff at Verizon. I went yesterday trying to upgrade my phone and little did I know I was in for the unexpected. Despite COVID and everything that I had going on trying to get a phone. Ariel and Brian helped me the entire time with a smile and a wonderful attitude. All the other workers were great too even looking at them work with the other customers they all had a smile and great attitude and did everything they could to help. Even though I wasn't able to get my upgrade today they were such a tremendous help during the 5 hours that I was in the store trying to solve my problem so thank you soooo much for everything. God forbid you are on one of their prepaid plans and need customer service. Their prepaid help line is less useful than the human appendix. This store won't help you with prepaid stuff either. Absolutely horrible customer service. read more

I have been with Verizon for over 20 years and Jacinda in Edgewood is the most amazing associate I have ever dealt with. My technology uncomfortable and emotionally sensitive mother needed a phone upgrade and Jacinda was AMAZING. She seemed to not only know everything, but anticipated needs and communicated information in a way my mother could handle, with seeming to do so. I have rarely experienced such skilled customer service, let alone in a verizon store. Then she fixed a problem with my daughters Gizmo, which I had worked with 8 other verzion reps over a year and a half period both in person and on the phone, and Jacinda fixed it in 10 minutes. She deserves a raise, a big one. read more
