Verizon Wireless gets the job done. Solid service, reliable coverage, and strong signal for most places. Most of the staff at this location are genuinely friendly and make the whole "new phone" process way less painful than it needs to be. That said, there is one employee who seems allergic to customer service. Not a deal-breaker, just noticeable. Luckily, the rest of the team balances it out, so I'll probably keep coming back whenever I need a new device. Good store overall, just tighten up the vibes a little. read more

Why do I always feel like I just left a Buy here, Pay here car lot when I've visited a cellular phone store? Today was no different. We went in on the 27th of June to inquire about their "free" iPad deal with additional line. Let me say that 3 different workers that in the same area as us told us, "someone will be right with you" while 2 of those workers were literally doing nothing but left us standing there. We actually left after several minutes and were going to say screw it until one of the workers came outside and said, "I was just getting ready to help you" That was Cody. BTW, we were just there a few months ago and purchased 3 new iPhones and activated 2 additional lines. Anyway, we were told on the 27th that we needed to activate yet ANOTHER phone line in order to get the iPad for "free" even though the iPad has its own cellular line. Ok we got you, we were actually thinking about another phone and line for a business phone so ok let's do it. We go through everything and agree to the new phone and iPad and new lines of service but we were told the iPad needed to be ordered (because we upgraded the size and color) and it would be in in a week and we could not pay for it yet. So the iPad shows up and we get a call to go in and when we get there, the promo had changed so we now had to pay a small monthly fee for the iPad. Wait, we set all this up on the 27th of June. So you're not going to honor the deal we made BEFORE the promo changed? WOW, that doesn't sound like a bait and switch now does it! We said screw it and left without anything just on principle alone, I mean the 5 bucks a month is only like $180 but we should not have to pay that! We placed the order prior to the promo change! We went ahead and went back because we needed the product and don't feel like changing service right now. So we got the iPad and the additional phone and phone line. We are going to be getting charged that extra 5 bucks but I'm going to contact customer service to try and get that fixed and will update once I do. Now the other thing is that Cody also upsold us on getting a service pack which included MAX and Netflix added to our already service of Disney+, HULU+, and ESPN+ which already did not work. He told us he would go in and get those three working and also make sure the two new ones would work so I could cancel my stand alone services I already have to save me money since getting all 5 through them is only $20 which is cheaper than what I currently pay for 3 of them. Well, THEY DON'T WORK! So now I'm being charged the $20 on my bill and I'm still paying the $30 or so I was already paying. I'm telling you, it's like going to one of those shady car lots. Everything about this entire interaction seemed like a scam, right down to the part where they give you a free "last years model" of iPhone if you sign up for an additional line yet they are out of stock on them so they try to pawn off an even older model on you. And listening to everyone else working here deal with their customers makes me feel even more gross, like I need to go home and take a shower. Bad service, bad experience that hasn't even finished yet. read more

Came here a couple times because it's the closest one by my house, however I'll travel to the next city to avoid coming to the Elliot and Dobson location. Cody tried to be helpful I think but just wasn't and ended up over charging me for things I didn't even need nor use. I ended up canceling everything he set up on my account after I added a new line. Not sure if he was trying to rack up commission but that just wasn't it. On top of that situation he offered me a deal and then took it back and tried sticking me with a new bill for an iPad I already bought. Very complicated and horrible experience. I won't be back. I purchased a Puregear steel 360 glass screen protector for a new phone with a free lifetime replacement warranty. The cover lasted 8 days and the replacement is going to cost $13. That's terrible protection (phone was neither dropped or mistreated. It's in an Otterbox ) and NOT a free replacement. The phone i was replacing had the original Liquid Glass Screen protector on for almost 3 years without a scratch or crack. My critisism is of the product and the bogus offer of a free replacement. I was not informed of the shipping and handling fee. they have replacements on the shelf that would cost nothing to ship or handle. Tristin, the guy who sold it to me was quite friendly and efficient. He just neglected to tell me what he clearly should have known, about the shipping and haddling. read more

This Verizon location has extended hours and they close later than the other ones. Stop by to get my wife a new phone and initially we were helped by Jocelyn. She was amazing really helped us out got the plan and got a new phone for her very quickly and efficiently. Came back three weeks later because the phone battery would discharge quickly and we tried very quickly and had it examined by the site manager by the name of James N. Very knowledgeable gentleman very respectful professional and kind. He switched the phone for a new phone and helped my wife transfer all of her information from her iCloud. We love coming to this location as their customer service is amazing. Also James put a new screensaver as the one that we bought was cracked after three weeks. Thank you Jocelyn and James N. Ripped off by salesman who no longer works for them. He pushed expensive phones on us promising a rebate which took seven months of fighting to get it only as credit on future bills. Takes 5 days minimum to get a call back everytime we called. The phones were discontinued just weeks later so the trade in value is worthless. 1 of the phones is having issues but management denied taking any action since we did not purchase insurance. You would think they would want to make it right but obviously they only care about pofit and commission regardless of employee conduct. FYI this is not a Verizon store even though it looks exactly like one. They charge for everything and mislead you to get the sale. Go to a corparate store instead to save yourself headaches, frustration and $. *** Update. Business manager replied encouraging reaching out to customer care lol! That's what I have been doing for the last 7 months. They don't care, escalated to management team after weeks they got back to me stating there is nothing that can be done because I didn't purchase insurance. Like I said 7 months trying to address both issues. Only one was addressed while ignoring the phone issue. Shouldn't the phone be under warranty? Worst customer service from a carrier in 20 years! Before went in, I have spoken with verizon customer service and had emails from verizon. The "manager" has no knowledge about his company I think, because even I told him I spoke with verizon team and had an email, he kept telling me it's impossible, we dont do that, i have no idea... and try to just get rid of me. Excellent service!! Adam, James, and CJ are the staff we had serve us and they are all excellent!! We drive past at least 3 Verizon stores to go to this one. We prefer to do business here. I tried to get help with my phone elsewhere and they said my phone could not do what I asked for but when I took it to this store they were able to set up what I requested!! I was on the verge of taking my 4 line account to sprint because of lackluster customer service at other Verizon locations. On a whim me and my boyfriend stopped at this location to put his phone on my account and upgrade his phone. Mario G. was the service rep that helped us out. Not only was he fantastic in his customer service but he was super helpful on issues that I've been struggling with previously. I plan on making this my go to store and Mario my go to rep. I was there in August and I had no intention if upgrading my phone, but I did because I was promised $88 a month for the phone bill, and $35 for internet. My last two bills have been over $167, and the numbers that were promised to me, exist. Adolfo was the agent, and James the manager are now completely stonewalling me. This office is no better than a sleazy car dealership. They have since August to adjust and fix my bill to what was promised and we are now going into November. I have a piece of paper still saved with the numbers that Adolfo promised me, and every text saved. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. read more

A very nicely dressed gentleman named Carlos Wilson. He spent slightly over 3 hours with us and no charge! No rush, no pressure, a delightful man who checked our sick phones and told us they were DOA (my words) after working on them for at least a half hour. We told him we couldn't afford the top of the line ones and he sold us a couple of MOTOrola Z-4s! He offered bottled water to us, and made us very comfortable. Thought I was going to a legitimate corporate store, but boy was I wrong. All I wanted to do was upgrade a line to a specific phone. Was told that phone was not in stock, and when I prompted the salesman to check other locations, he said no one in the state had it. He then tried to push me towards either a more expensive phone, or a couple super cheap ones, in exchange for which he would "waive" the payoff balance on the line I wanted to upgrade. He also claimed the upgrade fee could go on my bill, which corporate Verizon employees have told me is impossible. Meanwhile, my son went outside and called a corporate store a couple miles away and they had the phone I wanted. What a scam. Thank goodness my son got the vibe from the getgo that this salesman was not to be trusted. read more

He helped me upgrade my phone, find the best deal, but genuinely cared about what I wanted and want to make sure I was happy with my product and being a Verizon customer.
