I was very impressed with Collin Steiner at Cellular Sales until the cell phone bill came in. Collin had told me that I only had a $35 setup fee for my phone change. When the bill came in, there was an additional $40 upgrade fee as well as a​ $5.39 monthly increase. This was not communicated to me, and it is not on my invoice, so I went back to the store. The person that I talked to said there wasn't anything that can be done since 30 days had gone by. I find this far from acceptable, and it feels like a scam. I will be calling the customer service hotline, but I'm also going to leave reviews to warn customers. read more

Right as I walked in the building, Collin Steiner was already on his way to greet me at the door before I even walked in and was super nice right off the bat, I came in just to buy a new charger for my iPhone and have the charge port cleaned from pocket debris and such, and then he looked into my account to see if there were any promotions or discounts, and in the process he found extra things I was paying for that I wasn't even really using, which was about $30 worth so now my bill is gonna go from like 120+ down to around $90 bucks, $30 bucks is $30 bucks however you look at it. I'm very appreciative of Collin to see that and care enough to do something about it. I'm not saying no one would have, but I guarantee most employees would NOT have bothered to even mention that. Sketchy salesmen here. You can tell they either don't know what they're doing or they're lying to you about bills and plans. Was told my old phone turn in credit would be $830, however apparently "the system is just weird" and now it's only worth $104, (after Ive already agreed and paid) but can be fixed back to $830 in 24 hours (hopefully). Manager Greg is wearing a big shiny Soviet Union button on his jacket, probably totally oblivious of the war crimes and atrocities Russia is committing currently in Ukraine. Whole process has been a joke, honestly would turn around and leave if I hadn't already bought a phone and set up an account. My iPhone started to act up 2 days before I was leaving the country for a month. I went to this store to purchase a new one. Made the mistake of telling the salesman I was about to leave for this extended trip. He offered me a "great trade-in deal" IF I take an Apple Watch for $150. I told him I didn't need a watch. He said the trade In would be less if I didn't take the deal. Being rushed and stressed I made the second mistake and said yes to the watch. 6 or 7 electronic signatures, and an hour later, I left with a watch I didn't need. Didn't have time to learn the watch so left it home in the box. 6 weeks later I return to my Verizon bill and find the "$150" Watch is actually $370 AND the salesman opened a new cell service plan for the watch at $10/month. No mention of of a cell plan anywhere in sales discussion. If I keep the plan the $150 Watch" now costs me $730. Now after 3 weeks of dealing with Cellular Sales corporate to return the unused watch, the resolution by unnamed "upper management" is -- "Can't help you since it's past 30 day return." Translation: they handed down a two word sentence, and the 2nd word was "me!" Canceled cell line. Won't ever walk into A Verizon Cellular Sales store again. Especially this one. The location of this store is extremely convenient, next to the Costco in Tigard. I came in mainly to browse and see what's new in terms of phones since I've had mine for two years. I spoke to Anatolie and he seemed like a very honest sales consultant. I was initially worried he was going to pressure me into the most expensive phone possible, but he wasn't overbearing at all. He was very informative and gave me a lot to think about in terms of the newest technology. They don't have too many iPhone 13s in stock (I'm sure it is a very popular phone right now) but you can always place an order if they don't have your phone in stock. read more

I would recommend running away from this store. I dropped my phone in a lake, and didn't have insurance (my bad!). I was going to buy one at this store. I spoke with an associate and ended up walking out with a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 128gb. From the beginning the salesperson said that some of the price was going to be "knocked off" which made it seem like he was going to give me a "deal." The price he gave was $1,199. I know for a fact that phone already retails for that price. So, he wasn't giving me a deal at all. I knew it and should have walked away at that point. It knew the "sale price" he was offering was actually the retail price. I checked online the same day and started (but didn't finish) a purchase at Verizon Wireless online. Of course, it showed the retail price. See attached photo. I came into the store and was going to buy the phone outright. He talked fast and said the way to get the "deal" was that he has to finance $1. I didn't understand and I was tired, so that flew over my head. Why would they want to finance a buck, when I wanted to just pay for the phone in full right then and there? I didn't think much about it at that time (it was only a buck), but left with the phone, knowing there is a 30-day return policy (with a $50 "restocking" fee). When I got home, I realized that 128gb wasn't going to be enough space. Actually, I kind of knew that when I bought the phone, but they didn't have any 256gb models in stock for a month. I decided to return the phone and pay the restocking fee. In the meantime, I purchased a 256gb model directly from Samsung and received and activated it prior to going back to the Verizon store. When I returned the phone, I spoke with another sales rep. They said I could return the phone or they could give me a $550+ discount and I could save that much on the new phone. What??? I explained that I didn't have the phone long (a week) and didn't have a trade in really. It was the new phone I just received. It was explained that I could save over $550 on a new phone. That doesn't seem like a good business decision to me. Lose phone...buy new phone and keep for a week...return phone less than a month later and pick up my yet another brand new phone and save $550 doing it?? So, essentially I would be buying that $1,200 phone for about $550 (or half price). It didn't make any sense and felt that there was something I was missing or hidden charges somewhere. I was skeptical. I asked why they wanted to finance the phone when I was ready to pay in full? The answer I was given was that they cannot sell a phone outright to me, or they would have to charge me more. What?????? Oh, you mean more than the advertised retail price of $1,199.99? Made no sense!!! While at the store I commented that I enjoy having an "unlocked" phone which I received from Samsung. He said, "Oh our phones are unlocked too." I went home and checked at the Verizon Website. They do NOT have unlocked phones. They say the opposite...they are locked. See my phone below showing this. I feel like I was not being told the full truth, which I HATE! I say if you don't feel comfortable and something smells fishy, then the peace of mind knowing you didn't get a bad deal is very valuable to me. I ended up keeping the one I bought (256gb model) straight from Samsung for $200 LESS than the 128gb model from this store. Additionally, Samsung offers a generous 21 day free look, completely risk free offer with NO "restocking" fee. They even pay for the shipping cost back to the factory (or warehouse). My advise to anyone wanting a phone is to buy from the factory and skip the shadiness. If the full price is not in the budget, then Samsung has zero interest payment plans too, and they are straight shooters. You KNOW what you are going to be getting and paying for. I have always been happy with Verizon's cellular service through the years, but mark my words I will NEVER, EVER step foot in a store again. read more

Bad experience. Never go back to a Verizon retail store again. We went there to ask about the new iPhone. Tony the salesperson told us that we would get $1000 for a trade-in for each phone for each line (3) and we would only have to pay the difference plus a one-time payment of $35 per phone for activation. I paid the 35 plus the difference of the phones in the store when I received my invoice they gave me only $800 for one of the lines all the phones that we traded were in perfect condition and they were charging me $35 more per line I asked why? and they told me, because They helped me with trading, labels, etc., which TONY never mentioned. They new we were going to travel back to Minnesota. We tried to bring back the tablet. They told us that we could bring back the tablet to any Verizon store. With in 30 days. Well for the last two weeks we tried to do that. But know Verizon store would take it back. SO THEY LIED. Now we don't want the phones or the tablet. Guess what we can not return anything. I fell into his trap, he told me trade your iphone pro max for the new one with only $100 and and i did the he told because you traded it to get a free apple watch today!! Which was a trap and also he told me get another for half price, and i got one for my wife as well, with free cellular services, at check out he charged another $35 for each line and he said that is in store fee!!!!! Lol, for his service that he has done today !after that i found out he just lied to me and i have been trapped, first of all the phone was not unlocked and he gave me the phone with a contract, which my phone was still in perfect condition, secondly the Apple Watches were just financed and not free, beside I had to pay for the cellular service too which he told me that is free. This is not a main store for Verizon 1- I was not told the SIM card costs me $20 each when I stopped by the day before to get a quote 2- I was not told the employee discount did not apply to unlimited data plan until I got the bill 3- the transfer process was not complete which caused issue that I can't get any text while my son was admitted to the hospital 4 I spent 2 hours in the store without set up employee discount and family monitoring then I have spent another 2 hours to figure out my bills and 2 hours to call Verizon and T-Mobile for number transfer. The only reason for given one star was the person was nice but it's a frustrating process. read more

First BEWARE - THIS IS NOT A VERIZON CORPORATE LOCATION - you will get much better sales/service at a corporate store than a licensed / franchised location. Unfortunately I don't remember my salesperson's name and I cannot find it on any of the receipts but I got CON'D hard here. I went in 9/15/2018. First - I came in to do an early upgrade for my son's phone that had a pretty bad and obvious cracked screen. It was on the table the whole time and the salesperson even used it to show how to turn off the find my phone app for return. Never ONCE mentioned that there might be an issue with the screen. Sure enough Verizon / Apple sent it back and now I have to pay the balance of what was owed. Horseshit move #1. Second - they told me about a promotion where I could get a Samsung tablet for only $1 and it would be a two year term for $10 a month. I asked him about this several times and my son also recalls this was the information provided. However, shame on me because I took the salespersons word for it and sure enough, the first bill comes and it is actually $20 a month. This is my bad for trusting him since the actual agreements that I signed show $20 per month but I took him at his word and didn't read through. Third - all the increase in costs quoted by the salesperson for the device upgrade per month were way under (like 40%) what is actually charged. Again, that's my bad for taking him at his word. Complete sleaze ball sales practices. Stay AWAY. AND, I previously had a problem and they basically wash there hands of you if you need help and send you somewhere else for any issues that come up. read more

Tried to sell me buy one phone and get 2nd one free, but I couldn't keep my same number which I have had for over 10 years, then I had to add another line to my plan, total snow job! It felt so uncomfortable there, I went home and ordered my new phone from the Apple store and activated myself, easy done! I went in to purchase a new iPhone outright and made it very clear that I did not want any changes to my plan and wanted to put it on my debit card. I repeated that several times to the sales person, Gabriella. The phone was on back order and she said I could pay for it in person when it arrived. A few hours later what do you know, my monthly account charges doubled and plan changed. They say they can't reverse it without coming into the store?? Bait & Switch!!! Do not do business with Cellular Sales. It is misleading that the storefront is a Verizon store but Cellular Sales is a middle man who is an authorized retailer of Verizon. I recently upgraded my IPhone to a 12 Pro Max and I was informed of a deal for IPads for a discounted price. The salesperson Sarah U. that assisted me never informed me that to get the sales price for the IPad I would have to add another line for cellular service which is not what i wanted. When I looked at my upcoming bill with the new phone & tablet it was over $230 which wasn't the amount that Sarah told me. I went to the store yesterday and Sarah was not there and spoke to another female salesperson and she said that she couldn't help me and that I need to contact Sarah directly. She did give me an option to either pay for the IPad at the $500 price or return it. Sarah also agreed to waive the $40 activation fees if I was to give her a perfect review on the survey after I purchased this which she did not. I asked to speak with a manager at the store but he is located in Vancouver which is not acceptable and asked that he call me back instead of me taking the time to do so. They are all sleazy and do not care to help out their customers after they made their sales and received their commission. Shame on Cellular Sales!!! read more

Absolutely avoid this store at all costs. First off, it is NOT an Verizon store. Its a franchise owned by Cellular Sales a completely different company. If you have a problem Verizon will not be able to help you and you will be unable to reach Cellular Sales either. I went here to transfer from ATT to Verizon and get a new phone. Every step of the process went badly because the sales guy, Antonio Prieto Lopez screwed up the transfer, kicking off what ended up being repeated calls to Verizon, ATT, Cellular Sales, the store as well as 3 trips to that store and to an ATT store. Basically, my phone number didn't port over, my billing address was entered wrong, they didn't process the credits for the phone I traded in and no one bothered calling me to fix things despite being assured they would. I finally got my number ported over (in no way due to anyone at the store being able to help) and my current situation is that I'm supposed to wait a couple of billing cycles to see if the $700 credit for my old phone, which they took, will actually show up. I'm a senior citizen on a very limited income. The salesperson lied to me. Told me my first couple of Bill's would be higher, which I understood, then he told me my regular monthly bill would be $61. Lie #1. Its $91. Lie #2: I qualified for a FREE tablet. I specifically asked if that would add anything to my bill. He said absolutely not. Yeah, it costs. Verizon's customer service is VERY poor no matter when or how you contact them. My last complaint is that the expensive phone I bought, a Moto Z4 has problems, i.e. the text app won't come up so half the time I can't text anyone. Also the phone app that let's you dial a number won't open so I can't make ANY calls. I've spoken with customer service twice and was basically told "oh well, too bad for you" in a carefully worded way. I doubt anyone will read this let alone give a hoot but if Verizon gave me a phone without issues, I would be satisfied. But they won't and neither will i. read more

I bought a home phone and though customer service was great, helped by Anatoli , very professional, my frustration has been when the phone didn't work and I had to return it. I had no idea this IS NOt A VERIZON store. It's CELLULAR CELLS. Though I returned their box and the refund was initiated as was promised, it's taken over a month and that refund that was swiftly done in the store by ANATOLI, has never posted in my account. I was charged by Verizon wireless for services I did not use, but paid anyway, otherwise I had no time fighting it. Please cellular cells, just refund my money back to my account. I returned your box but you have not refunded me yet. This is very bad business and I regret that I had to be one of those people with bad reviews. The sales rep did his best and he's professional but it's important everyone to know that they are dealing with consumer sales NOT Verizon wireless. And as for refund, I have no words.
