This place is a over the rainbow fond. Have to say very stressed phone had stopped charging. Tired everything through YouTube nothing worked. I was greeted by Josh just a total good listener. Heard my story saw my desperation said no problem we can fix this. Took him two minutes. He came back and told me there was some mulch stuck in there keeping it from charging. Super friendly we shared a good laugh after the repair was complete. Highly recommend Josh and this location as super knowledgeable. What an amazing customer experience! As I was awaiting my turn, I watched the man at the counter provide exceptional service to two customers that were there when I arrived. Had our iPad for four months. Never called. Didn't fix it! I can't believe the lack of customer service. No accountability.

Took phone there for a screen repair. Screen was repaired, but got home and no cell service. Turned out it was damaged during the repair and would need to be returned to the store. Dropped it off when they opened and told it would be 2 hours to fix. Come back in 2 hours and told it's not ready, will be done before end of the day. Call before driving to the store for the 3rd time 30 min prior to closing. Told they don't know what the issue is and how to resolve with no ETA provided but option to get loaner phone. Horrible customer service throughout. When I expressed frustration about just wanting the phone replaced, they offered to PUT the broken screen back on and provide a refund. Called corporate who provided a reason for the issue, but said store would provide options to make up for the trouble, and that they'd contact store. We arrive to get loaner and it's magically fixed. Tries to rush us out of store before testing it. Now, facial recognition doesn't work. Contacted support and store, no resolution unless we bring phone back to them. Assuming something else will be broken when they look at it again. Was told by corporate that we would be contacted by store owner, but didn't hear anything. Now left with a non-fully functioning phone. Absolutely do not recommend this store. They will damage your phone and not provide compensation, while providing bad customer service and false promises. PLEASE read before you use uBreakiFix: 1) Their money back guarantee is conditional. Long story short, I dropped off my iPhone X in excellent condition (confirmed by uBreakiFix on my repair receipt) to have my screen replaced (glass was not broken, phone worked perfectly, just had a small ink dot in the corner of the screen), after they "fixed it" the GPS, Face ID, and Wifi all no longer worked, the dimming feature was damaged, and the screen glitched, launching apps without being touched, launching podcasts while I was on calls, even attempted to transfer funds from my bank app. NEVER once had a single issue with my phone before they touched it. After FIVE trips to the store, and multiple repairs my phone was returned to me completely unusable. The employee (Blake) told me they couldn't fix the GPS/Wifi issues but if I went through Apple to fix it, they would reimburse me for the repair. After two hours with Apple, I was quoted over $500 to repair my phone. I went back to uBreakiFix to provide them the total, and at this point, the store manager told me that not only would they NOT pay to have my phone repaired (that they acknowledged they damaged, after "repairing" it multiple times), THEY WOULD HAVE TO REMOVE THE NEW SCREEN THEY PLACED ON IT AND REINSTALL A BROKEN SCREEN (but not with my old screen, because they threw it away, but someone else's broken screen) IF I WANTED MY MONEY BACK. After I fought back and refused this ridiculous suggestion, he ultimately gave me my money back and "let me" keep my unusable phone with a new screen. He told me there was a less than 1% chance they damaged my GPS, Wifi, etc. by "repairing" my phone (FOUR TIMES!). If they didn't cause the damage, why did they agree to attempt to fix my phone so many times and initially agree to reimburse me for an Apple repair? 2) By default, they use after-market screens, not OEM parts. The second I picked my phone up I could see a difference in the color tone of my screen. They won't tell you they use after-market parts, unless you ask. I was so patient and forgiving of the frustrations I had with this business, but the manager's response to me in the end was beyond disappointing and epically unprofessional. I will never do business here again; I recommend going straight to Apple where your repairs will be done right and with quality parts. read more

My Pixel 3a landed on the perfect spot to crack the screen. This place was recommended by Google. I made an appointment, and they were able to get my screen fixed in the amount of time they told me it would take. I picked up my phone that same day, and it looked brand new! they did an excellent job at a fraction of the cost other companies tried to charge me. Polite customer service as well. read more

After I dropped my phone off for repairs I was emailed a confirmation with a link to track my repair status. Super cool right? Umm no. They don't update the tracker so what's the point of having it if you're not going to use it? Regarding the ETA, I was told 24 hours and expressed it was important as I need my phone for work. After 24 hours had passed no one contacted me with an update - It's just simple customer service guys. We're paying you a lot of money for these repairs, I don't think a 10 second phone call or email is asking much. read more

I've had my phone for almost 2 years then it finally decided it didn't want to charge anymore and after taking it in to att I was told I may need to upgrade. Very frustrating experience at this store and bad customer service. I had to visit this store a total of 6 times (with multiple unanswered phone calls and voicemails) only to have them make my camera worse than when I brought it in. I was not offered a full refund despite them costing me more money in the long run by invalidating my phone with unofficial parts. I took my iPhone to this location to have a cracked camera lens fixed (for a camera that was still working). After replacing the lens my camera worked but became blurry when zooming in and I took it back. I was informed I would have to buy a completely new camera. I was not informed this camera would not be an official iPhone camera. When the phone was returned to me the camera would not work at all and was worse than when I first brought it in. When I asked for my original camera back to take it to a licensed Apple repair I was informed I couldn't have it back. I was told they were unable to fix my phone as the phone wouldn't recognize their replacement parts I was now stuck with. After informing me my phone couldn't be fixed I wasn't even offered a full refund. Would not recommend this store for any Apple products. Customer service was very unhelpful, rude, and routinely would not answer calls, voicemails or give updates or even provide a full refund. read more

Had an AT&T Cracked Screen claim through Assurion. Multiple customer service reps at Assurion state that the repairs are on a walk in basis and typically take 2 hours and they should not be taking appointments. Upon arrival, the person at the counter told me that if I didn't have an appointment he "might" be able to get me in by the end of the day. Sherwood, was unfortunately the closest "walk-in" location to Salem, OR. I drove 30 miles and he would not honor the committed time. If appointments are required, then they need to clearly state that. It is extremely frustrating to have driven such a distance and not had the commitment honored. read more

With a family of six this place has been life saving and cost saving. They just replaced my iPhone X screen after it dropped and cracked, new screen also fixed the problem with burn in and was hundreds less than replacing the phone. They got the repair done in 90 minutes and were polite and professional. Justin was very busy that day but kept welcoming new clients as we came in and kept the line moving. Yes, ok they fixed my crack screen good job there. But, when I got my phone back my speaker was messed up and all distorted. When I took it back in they told me that the claim was for a cracked screen and that I needed to contact asurion and have them put in an order for the speaker to get fixed. Ubreakifix are the ones responsible for the speaker malfunction, fix it.... I live an hour and a half away I dont have the time to hang around there nor the time to take off of work to get it done. Now I have to settle with a refurbished phone that I DO NOT WANT. Also a similar situation occurred when my wife brought in her phone for a cracked screen only in her case the speaker didn't work at all when she got it back. We've had a pretty poor experience so thanks for that. All I want is your name tarnished and your business to go to hell. I do not recommend this place to anyone unless you want someone else's problem phone cuz that's what the phone companies do, yeah yeah yeah they come with a year warranty but I want the phone that purchased in store not someone else's problem. SO THANKS UBREAKIFIX for the shitties experience I've ever had with a company. There will not be a next time!!! read more

Worst experience EVER! I used UbreakIfix in AZ and had a great experience.... Not this time. Store replaced a bad game reader in my sons switch. Took it home to find the SD card and touch Schwerin not working. Took it back, they fixed the SD reader but touch screen not fixed. They ordered another card reader. Took back again, never called to say it was finished so I called and came the next day picked it up and they said it was fixed... got home the handle remote falls off. It's missing three of the five screws. The two in it are stripped. I call to see if they have the screws they say it was like that when I brought it in and due to previous structure damage they can't fix it.... REALLY???? No one said anything when I picked it up. Where did the screws go? They want to charge me 114 to do a complete change of the frame. That's all they can do I'm told. So my husband is trying to take out two from one side to replace them. This is crazy!!! I take my item in to get fixed and three trips later, one thing is fixed and another is broken. I will NEVER take my stuff to your store again!!! We took kids phone in to have glass replaced, had a crack in it. They called us and said phone was fixed. So we went back and picked up the phone and paid them. We left and noticed phone wouldn't turn on. We thought it was kind of weird since was charged when we dropped it off, and who gives a customer back a dead phone. Dont they check a phone before they give it back to customer? Seemed weird. So went back to the store and exp.ained the issue they said they would check it out again. They called us later that night and said a sensor had to be replaced. Everything worked before we took it in, just glass was cracked. Went back and picked up phone again. We left and kid said now nothing is working now, we can't text, no safari, only thing phone does is call out. We called them again. Told them we only took phone in to get glass replaced and now our phone is completely broken nothing works and this is the 2nd time you gave us back a busted phone, they said "Ummmmm you can bring it back not sure we can help" Needless to say I didn't go back in we called the bank and cancelled our payment.I took phone into the apple store. They didn't know what was wrong, ITunes was completely screwed up and they had to submit a request into apple for help. Suggested we wipe phone and reinstall iTunes from i cloud backup This went on for almost 3 weeks. Looked like we were going to have to buy a new phone they said. This phone was only 4 months old. We ended up putting the SIM card in another backup phone we had so kid had something to use, and we reinstalled iTunes and the cloud and we got the spare phone to work. 2-3 phone calls with apple tech support and still could t fix it. Finally we ended up calling Verizon and gave them SIM # and the EIN # and Verizon guy did his thing and he asked us to try safari again, and this time we got an error code. We never had any error code before. Said our date/time was out of wack. It said Jan 15, 1970. As soon as we fixed the date/time IT FIXED THE PHONE. Can't tell you how happy we were. Finally after 3 weeks we got phone fixed. After googling it this issue this was a known bug back in 2016 that when changing date would wipe out your phone. Called "bricked" Ubreakifix screwed up our phone, whatever they did by changing the date/time on our phone. We are beyond upset at what they did to us, and on top of it the apple guy noticed that they didn't put the security screws back in the bottom on the phone when they replaced the glass. I went back in again and asked for our screws back and they gave them to me. Plus a few other choice words. So I still have to take phone back in and have apple replace the glass and put screws back in. Stay away from this place what a disaster this place is. Not one apology or a sorry the whole time. Called them 3-4x not one ap.ogy, was in the store 4-5x not one apology, when he handed me back the security screws they didn't put in not one apology. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. After talking to other people apparently this place is known for bad service and breaking phones. read more

Very disappointed. Repair in 24 - 48 hours turned into 8 days. Text to keep customer informed of repair was intermittent at best. Return in better shape than when dropped off, not even close. Home button broken during repair, now dead spots on touch screen. Five trips to store, finally picked up tonight and it's still not right. Looks like a sixth trip is in my future. Wish I'd just gone to the Apple store or just lived with a cracked screen. read more

After 2 other places told me my much beloved but water damaged PC could not be fixed I took it to uBreakiFix in Sherwood. They cleaned the water damage, got it working again and did NOT try to up-sell me. All for an incredibly low price. Last year they fixed my cell phone and it's still working great. I really appreciate their honesty. When I took my daughter's cell phone to have the broken screen replaced they told me I could replace the whole phone for less than they would have to charge to repair the screen and told us how to get her data off her old one without charging us anything. I don't know if all uBreakiFix locations are like this but Sherwood has my business forever. read more

GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE. NO stars earned. Not a happy customer. They broke the touch screen ability on my phone and won't fix their mistake. uBreakiBREAK: Screen glitchy and this is about 45 min each way from home. Hubbie took phone in for me on his day off and when he brought it back... the touch screen works for three touches then freezes or thinks you asked it to do something else. Totally glitchy. And almost completely useless. I wish I would have kept the badly cracked glass on. We called Sherwood uBreakiBREAK and they said reinstall ios. Did that. I've restarted the thing now about 30 times. Just called uBreakiFix HQ and he said they have a guarantee and take it back in. Great. I have insurance on my phone which means I paid for insurance for THIS? And it isn't 100% free after insurance either. They had to have tested it before turning it back to the customer?? It didn't work in the very first usage. JUST called Sherwood to make sure it would be done if I came first thing in morning and guy told me that because it was insurance, I have to contact Apple or At&T and not them. EVEN THOUGH IT WAS uBreakiBREAK THAT SCREWED IT UP. I said "even if you broke it? Can't you just reapply the screen?" Nope he says. He can't help me. Unreal. Very disappointed with the quality of work they provide. Brought my iPhone In last week to replace a cracked and unresponsive screen. They charged $260 which is mostly labor cost. The next day I ended up putting another small crack in the new screen. I then went on Amazon and purchased a replacement screen and kit for $90 and decided to do it myself this time. When I opened my phone I discovered they hadn't replaced the seal that protects it from water and dust that comes with the replacement screens. I also found they hadn't put back in the shield/cover that keeps the cables in place and protected as well as left out a few screws that belonged in it. I feel it was incredibly poor workmanship and feel disrespected that they feel they can knowingly do half ass work and figure people won't check so they don't care. I would highly recommend taking on the task yourself if you're comfortable handling small parts delicately, and following simple instructions. Replacement on my own took around 30 minutes and works great. If not comfortable doing it yourself I'd recommend finding another repair shop as this one certainly do not deserve the high price they charge for the quality of labor they provide. read more
