Fabulous Service. Buying all new phones and upgrading service. I arrived 30 min prior to closing on the last day that Black Friday deals were offered. I was not expecting outrageous deals being offered, because internet queries to Verizon and other carriers were giving different and erratic results every time I checked. I think their servers were just overwhelmed I got different results from the same carrier if I checked in every 30 minutes. I figured I would just stop in the Verizon store for a quick visit , not expecting much. Boy , was I mistaken .... crazy deals... trade in on my phones that were double or triple what I had been quoted other places and on line. It being close to closing time I thought I would miss out on these newly discovered deals. Harneet stayed with me past closing and we got all the iPhones and tablets ordered . I returned a few days before Christmas on the agreed upon day and Harneet had everything all set for me. I can't emphasize enough how painless a process this was when compared to prior transactions I have had over the years at several other establishments. And to top it off Harneet is probably the most pleasant person I have had the pleasure of working with in any retail establishment, ever. Bottom line is I can strongly recommend the Russel Verizon Store in Franklin for your Verizon Wireless purchases. It's located between Stop and Shop and Chipotle . I went to the Verizon store today and have to admit I was in a terrible mood. My phone would not turn on, I tried several times to get it to work with no success, I was extremely frustrated. Daphne waited on me, she was extremely professional, courteous and knowledgeable. She knew right away what was wrong and gave me the bad news that I needed a new phone. Not great news but I'd expected it. She walked me through all of my options and explained all the pros and cons. She made me feel she genuinely cared and wanted to help me make the best decision for me. She was able to transfer over all of my data even though she couldn't turn on my old phone (I still don't know how she did it!!). Her care and sincerity made my bad day turn right around! I told she was like a ray of sunshine because she was. I feel I got the best option for my needs and am grateful for her help. She's an exemplary employee and hope she's compensated as such. I paid for unlimited screen protectors for 4 galaxy 20s about 11 months ago. The screens break pretty easily so I get new ones every 3 months or so. I go into this Verizon store and suddenly this woman who works there says I can't get 4 at one time?! Really? That's what I've always gotten! She says she can only give me one at a time, the reason she gave me is because they will run out of inventory!! Im sorry is that the customers problem? Not one person before her told me this. This is al0 in matter of principle. Don't go into that store find a different place to do your business. I'm taking this up with coperate. Update I did take it up with coperate and I was right, I was supposed to receive all of my screen protectors. The woman at the store called me to apologize and told me I was right. Not sure how this place has such good reviews (though it does seem like they are all stale). They identify themselves as a Verizon store, but this is misleading, and you don't learn that until you get your receipt. I just got off the phone with Verizon because the promotion I was told by them would kick in after 2 months (BOGO phones) never did. Further, when Verizon brought Harneet (the manager) on the phone - she denied that there was a promotion. It's all incredibly dishonest. Also beware that they will charge you a "VIP setup" fee whether you ask for it or not of $75 per line. None of this involved anything that you cannot easily do on your own - so by even walking into the store intent on purchasing from them, you have wasted your money. Furthermore, Chris, one of their sales reps, completely botched every aspect of our "VIP Setup" - our numbers didn't port to Verizon, he didn't sign us up for the plans that we asked for, and our phones were not set up correctly. Honestly, Verizon should think twice about having this place besmirch their name - and I've made sure to let the carrier know as much. Finally - NEVER buy accessories from them. They will throw them into your order as if they are free (screen protectors, charging blocks, etc) saying that they're free. They're not, and usually marked up by about 5x what you can find them for anywhere else (both brick and mortar stores and online). They likely wont respond to this, either. Their customer service after they swindle you out of your money is atrocious... Run, don't walk, out of this store. read more

Had a terrible experience switching from Comcast Mobile(not great coverage) to Verizon. We ported two phones over but had to do them at separate times due to the store not having one of the phones we wanted in stock (had to wait 2 extra weeks). The first phone had tons of issues as they screwed something up. My wife was left without her phone and I had to go back to the store to address the issue live. Then 2 weeks later we had issues with the second phone (Verizon blames comcast, BUT even after comcast did their part there were still issues.) The processes (even after comcast fixed their part) took me over 4 hrs both times. Even the manager Aneet was clearly frustrated with the people on the phone at Verizon support. After all of this they offered to give me a $220 credit on my account to make up for all my lost time. They said it was the most they could do. I said fine, BUT I was still going to reach out to corporate customer service to see if they would give me more to compensate for 8 HOURS of my time. I checked my bill the other day and had never received a credit. So i called the store last week and was told Aneet was out but that she would call me the next day. She never called so I had to call back again today. She then reached out to her DM (who had promised the $220 credit) and her DM would not call me directly and instead made Aneet call me back to tell me they changed their mind about giving me the credit since I was still contacting corporate. (So it's clear the $220 was only an offer If I didn't report the terrible experienced I received) The DM even went as far as to tell Aneet to tell me to take them to court ( I had never mentioned this). After seeing their 2.5 star rating and reading other reviews online here, it's clear I am not the only one who has been screwed by this franchisee and their people so at least I know I'm in good company. In all my time, I have never seen someone promise a credit for terrible experience to then change their mind because the complaint was still be addressed with corporate. This is a "premium retailer" not a Verizon Corporate store. You WILL be better off and much safer by going to a corporate store( Bellingham). What ever they tell you, do your research first. 2nd time I've been to this location and the sales staff was useless. 1st time was to find out how much my father owed on his flip phone so we could buy it out to switch him over to my TMobil plan and they said they couldn't give that info. Today after my sister got him onto her plan we got him his first Iphone and needed a Zagg screen protector put on and she said she couldn't!!?! What can they do there besides NOT HELP LOYAL CUSTOMERS... The manager of this store (Harneet A.) sold my elderly parents approx. $1400 worth of cell phones, tablets & technology "packages" when my 80 year old mother was just trying to replace her simple and easy-to-use "flip phone". I had been trying to reach my mother for two months and when I finally got in touch with her, she was all distraught that she couldn't use (or even see the numbers on) on her new $750 "Google Pixel 4" phone that Harneet sold her. I said, "Mom - why on earth would you buy such a complicated phone? Where is your flip phone?" My mother said that she went to this Verizon-IM Wireless store there with her old flip phone, looking to replace it. However, the store manager (Harneet A.) clearly saw an opportunity to exploit an elderly couple and she took full advantage. Harneet told my mother (who has bad vision and wears glasses) that they "didn't have any flip-phones" (there are none on display in the store). So my mother was somehow conned into buying an overly complicated and expensive Google Pixel 4 phone for $750!! For an 80 year old woman with cataracts! When I called the store looking to return this phone, I was treated incredibly rude. They told me that I couldn't speak to the regional manager and in order to return the phone that my mother was conned into buying, she had to pay a $100 restocking fee AND buy a new flip phone (which now they suddenly had available) for $130.00 - despite none being on display in the store. My mother should've been sold this $130 flip phone the first place - but clearly the manager saw her "mark" so they totally exploited an unsuspecting elderly person! When I went to the store with my mother to return the Google Pixel phone, Harneet accused me of recording her and actually came around the counter and attempted to look at my phone screen! Absolutely unhinged and unprofessional behavior by a retail store manager. I can't believe the store owner feels this person is a positive reflection of his/her business. Do NOT send anyone you care about to this store...check out the other reviews here - many people have similar complaints (see the review from John F.). Oh and here's the kicker - Harneet wanted to charge my mother $60 to transfer approx. 35 contact from the Google Pixel phone over to her new Flip phone. $60!! This store is run with totally unethical (not to mention immoral) business practices...I have already filed a complaint with the State of Massachusetts Attorney General's office. This place needs to be investigated by the authorities. Who knows how many people they've scammed over the years? It's disgusting how both my parents and I were both treated at this place. read more

Salesman I spoke with was extremely pushy about accessories and services. I would have walked out except I needed a Galaxy S9 which had been discontinued and they were the last store that had one. I declined everything he offered me but I still found call filtering and insurance on my plan later. Had to cancel these but Verizon said there's nothing they do to refund. Extremely unethical. Do not, under any circumstance trust these guys. My 16 year old son went in to upgrade a phone that was eligible for a $200 upgrade. They had him sign up for a plan to finance $750 (full price of phone) over 36 months. I am the account manager and never authorized any changes to my contract. My plan was also changed resulting in a huge monthly increase. Completely took advantage of a kid to fill their pockets with commissions. I have reported it to Verizon, and will be contacting the State Attorney Generals office. read more

I had to stop in here a few times and every time I've been welcomed and never feel rushed even for a "quick fix". Dwayne really took the time to explain what was going on with my phone and showed me how to fix it if it happened again. Ive had four employees assist me at various times and each one was very helpful and accommodating. They did offer a deal I didn't need and when I rejected it there was no further discussion. I actually had fun joking around with them all the while they maintained their professionalism. I noticed they took the time with the other customers as well. Summary: Shady business practices, no customer service and they actively avoid customer support. Details below. Details: Sharad the store manager, possibly the owner, convinced me to cancel my Verizon Asurion phone insurance which I had for years without a problem and had me switch to the one they offered, which was an upfront cost rather than a monthly bill. I payed over $150 upfront without being given any paperwork, SHADY, but was told I'd receive paperwork via email from them. Three months later I went back to Sharad and said I have not received anything, he assured me he would update my account and I would receive something from them. About 4 month later I went back ask again, same run around, mind you all I wanted was paperwork for my records. Finally over a year later I went back but Sharad was out, asked associate to have him contact me as soon as possible, nothing, 3 weeks later went back, associate said he was very busy opening up another store but assured me he would contact me however this associate told me the insurance plan / company I paid for and never received any paperwork from went out of business. Not only did they not mention this at any of my prior visits, but since I appeared not to be in the system, I was never informed that I did not have phone insurance anymore, if ever, SHADY. Again I visited them a 5th time a week and a half later, same story. Curious side note, after my 3rd visit, the associate who told me the insurance plan / company was out of business, easily looked up my account and purchase record, but my 4th visit 3 weeks later resulted in the associate not being able to find my account and purchase record in the system anymore, VERY SHADY. read more

This is an independent Verizon store they can set their own prices. They are charging $100 dollars more ($650) for the Iphone 5S than online verizon prices ($549). They also took my $60 dollar deposit and applied it to the price of the phone - I ended up paying sales tax on $710 instead of the $650. Beware!! read more

Avoid this store and per the other reviews do not trust them., They will upsell you into programs they do not support. I have seen several customers walk out in frustration due to their lack of efforts. If there are any issues, they will send you to the REAL Verizon store, which is 10 minutes down the road. Spare your self the time and energy and get it done right the first time. Their lack of general business ethics should be a concern that the entire community is aware of. read more
