I made a quick stop here to check out some products and to pay a bill. Although I did not find what I wanted, I thought the service was very efficient and professional. Yes, the sale representative offered to place an order, but I kind of needed my item that day. Also, I really appreciated that one of the sales rep did a quick "audit" of my services to see if I could pay less each month. Unfortunately, there was not anything else that I could remove from my monthly wireless and cable plans to reduce my monthly costs. Oh well, it was worth a try. Not greeting customers when they walk in is a particular pet peeve of mine. This store is understaffed (only one person was working when I arrived on a Friday evening) and does not do Fios equipment pick ups, despite my being sent there by customer service. Thankfully, a staff member from another store jumped in to help, but after I'd been standing around and being ignored for over 30 minutes. He directed me to his store to be helped and is the only reason for the additional star in my review. read more

I had an appointment today at 4 PM. Walked in and explained I had an appointment at four. He said I just started with these people so can you come back later. he was going to honor a 4 o'clock appointment? He shrugged his shoulders. I honor their appointments. Oh wow this was the best Verizon Customer service experience I've ever had- my phone had a SIM card issue- I walked in, got immediate service, polite explanation, and he fixed it and no charge! Just wow!!! Thanks Verizon!!! read more

Follow-up from November, 2024:: I needed another phone and went back because the reviews of other Verizon stores didn't seem any better. They have a new manager, Austin, and he was much better than the previous manager and personnel. So based on this second interaction, I increase my rating to three stars. read more

I'm pleased to upgrade this review! Stopped by recently for iPhone 12 mini supplies (Apple no longer provides the essentials upon delivery) and I was able to get what I needed. More importantly, the service was amazing. The selection wasn't the best but they had the basics and they carry quality accessories. read more

So I was helped by a representative named Farhan who seemed like a good dude. He helped me set up my account 201and get a phone. He asked me if I wanted him to set the phone up. I thought this was a professional courtesy. Later I was billed $25.00 for setup. Because the Verizon service was so bad I cut it off 3 days later, the time frame I was given to return without incurring charges. This was in November of 2020. As of April 2021 Verizon has not received the phone and is still billing me for it. read more

What fantastic service we experienced from manager Antonio and sales associate Alexi. I live in Ohio and travel to Bethesda to see my 90 year old mother who lives at Maplewood Park Place. This store helped my mom for at least four hours over three encounters to combine her cell and landline service into a better plan that was more affordable with all new equipment. She tried to work with Verizon land line service but after 56 years as a customer they fell way short of her needs. Thank you Verizon Wireless for hiring such great people!! AWFUL!!!!! There seems to be a revolving door of sales associates, of which one or two actually work. Trying to get information on their phone, which is NOT LISTED on their website-thank you Verizon operator for getting me the number, is an exercise in futility and frustration. I ordered a new phone and was told it would be in the next day-surprise, it was sent to the wrong store and, again, I was told that it would be in the within a few days-SURPRISE-no phone. After wasting well over an hour, I watched on sales person actually helping another customer, while his "associate" played with his phone, ignored walk in customers and finally went into the back room, doing who knows what, the friendly sales person told me it would be at least another hour before he could get my phone info transferred to the new phone. Did I mention that there were other customers waiting and the missing associate was in the back room but never came out again. What a waste of space! read more

So I am a bit surprised by the other reviews here but maybe the addition of Thomas, the sales director I worked with here has made some difference. It was a great experience and I got exactly what I asked for. My phone was stolen and my 4 attempts with my other long time provider to buy a new one failed every time for one reason or another, the last being the order they confirmed with details by email was not on file when I called the next day to ask for clarification. Thomas listened to my saga which wasn't necessarily part of his job, ordered what I wanted and delivered when it arrived exactly as promised. Bravo is all I can say. read more

This place is awful. The sales guys do not know anything about etiquette and customer service. After I placed orders for the new iPhones, they did not deliver as promised. Then they offered to order the model that I had originally requested, but they did not get back to me for over a month. When I checked, the sales person gave a lame excuse for why the order did not go through. He had no good explanation for why he never tried to contact me about any problems with the order. After I expressed my irritation about the delay, he finally rush ordered the phone. But after doing the exchange, he did not make sure that the phone line was activated on the new phone. The amount of time my family and I had to spend on this transaction is ridiculous. read more

What an awful experience. My wife went to The Wireless Center in Bethesda, an authorized re-seller of Verizon products hoping to fix our data overage problem. We were going over our minutes and needed a better plan. This was addressed, however, the sales associate told my wife that she could get a Jetpack for free with no additional costs. This was a new store and it was their promotion they were running. My wife signed the new data plan, however, the associate co-mingled the upgraded data plan with the jetpack plan. I noticed one of my plans I was charged an activation fee, which I thought was just a charge for changing data plans.....then I noticed that I was being charged for another phone number. Suffice too say, this store pulled a fast one. I have been to the store 5 or 6 times to get this resolved, I have asked to have the District manager call me to help get this resolved. The District manager has been given my messages multiple times and still no call. They are avoiding this and as it turns out the associate, of course, is no longer employed there. I was also told that these associates work on commission! I am now stuck with a monthly plan for two years because this associate wanted to make a quick buck. I have also tried to get resolved with the local Verizon store, however, they have told me they can't do anything. I am so disappointed that we were scammed. Whats interesting is that Verizon has licensed its name to "The Wireless Center" and they are tarnishing the Verizon brand. Guess what....when all of my phones come up for renewal I will be taking my business elsewhere. They will lose several thousand dollars!!! Someone could have owned this and saved a customer. Where is the quality control? It costs so much money to acquire new customers....maybe you should spend some money to RETAIN good customers. Here is an idea Verizon, penalize your "authorized re-sellers" if they get complaints. read more
