Avoid this place at all costs unless you want to feel the ick. I would give 0 stars if I could. Came in to get a new iPhone and left feeling like I just spent an hour around criminals. I have never had a worse experience with a Verizon store. Jose has no shame about coming off as a shady conman. He immediately became impatient with me and started treating me as someone he was just trying to extract money from as soon as he couldn't sell me on the most expensive new iPhone. I just wanted the mini. He wasn't forthright about what the total cost would be and all the accessories needed. At other Verizon stores they threw in the screen protector for free or discounted accessories. But not here. As soon as they can't sell you on what they want, they will be nasty to you. The manager stopped by because I pushed back and called Jose out on not telling me about added costs and fees, but the manager was the exact same type of shady, shameless conman. "The more you spend the more discount I can give you" is an example of a line said as he tried to throw in more accessories. I heard the manager doing a transaction using the same line Jose gave to me - how they were giving the customer a thousand dollar phone for a steep discount - like they're doing people such a huge favor. The whole sales process is so tacky and gritty and they think they're so smart but they just pull things tactlessly out of Robert Cialdini's playbook. This sort of desperate and cheesy sales process isn't necessary for a huge company like Verizon and this location run by talentless, arrogant bozos seriously diminishes the brand. read more

Too bad I can't give less than 1 star. This place is horrible. I ordered a new phone through Verizon for express pick up since the phone was supposedly in stock. I went in before they close Ms on the first day and was told they might get one in the next couple of days. But 3 days later, nothing. Then when I called they hadn't even ordered and it was a crap shoot as to IF they were going to get the model I ordered in. Then the manager said he could order one with express shipping on his dime. But why even make a point of telling me he's supposedly doing me a favor when I already placed the order for 3 days ago. Worst customer service ever. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE, especially if you order on line. read more

Ali is a scammer. I went in and was told that my plan was eligible for the new iphone for $700 off. I asked AT LEAST fifty times if anything would impact my bill. Ali ensured me that my monthly bill would be the exact same (aside form the one time acitivation fee for the new phone). I also said MULTIPLE TIMES that I did not want the verizon insurance as I would go straight through Apple Care for coverage. Again, I made sure no less than 20 times before I paid and signed anything that nothing would change on my bill and he was adamant that it would not. Two hours after my appointment I received an email that said my phone was now being covered by Verizon insurance. Luckily I was still in Old Town so I stopped in and said WTF and he played it off like it was an accident and he opted me out of it. Now, a month later, I noticed my bill is more than before so I called Verizon come to find out he upgraded my plan without telling me. I could not have been any more clear or asked anymore times about not wanting to change my monthly bill (I am on a shared plan so this effects other people). I caught him in one scam right away and luckily it wasn't too late to back track, but now I am locked into this new phone and new plan for 3 YEARS! Reading other reviews on google this is clearly not the first time this store has done this. Shameful. read more

After four years - finally got a new iPhone. I was hesitant because transferring data, applications, and registering a new device at work is such a hassle. Horrid experience. Needed the local police to resolve problem with person who worked there because of his unfriendly and improper attitude. LeRoy seemed unhappy to be talking to begin with. I went to the store on Washington Street to BUY the Samsung NOTE 9. What upset me is he put my information into his own private notebook. He also asked me for the password to access my account which foolishly I gave him. He did not offer the same deal as I saw on line and also the store charged an additional fee to do the transaction. When I told him I wasn't going to but right there and then, HE JUST PICKED UP FROM HIS DESK AND WALKED AWAY. When I asked for my personal information back he refused to give it to me. I finally called the Alexandria police who encouraged him to give me his note with my phone number and name. BUT, it still has access to my Verizon account.How am I protected from him? The store manager wasn't at the store but I did call him with the problem before I called the police but he didn't return my call. LeRoy shouldn't be selling. He is without the temperment needed. I wouldn't think of every using the services of TCC again. read more

I needed some help getting a good phone for International travel. These guys knew their products and were so helpful to me! They could explain the pros and cons for each phone and helped me choose the right one for me! They transferred all of my information from my old phone to the new one while I waited ( unlike a previous experience I'd had at another Verizon store!) They even helped me set up my face recognition! They gave me pointers for using the phone for International travel. They were fantastic and I highly recommend these guys! Their names are Jorge and Taz! You will not be disappointed if you go to this store and have the good fortune to have them take care of you! Thanks so much for your help, guys! read more
