I immediately jumped through hoops to get to a real person, who filed a support ticket. Which got bumped to another level the first hour. They have acknowledged something is wrong. When it had been 50 hours, I pointed out it had not been resolved. I can't use the AI, and that is not acceptable. The response was: "Thank you for the update, Paul. Our developers are actively working on addressing the issue, and we will notify you as soon as we have any information." I realise no one there cares about the couple hundred dollars I spend each month. Perhaps I should find a host who does care. UPDATE: Still not fixed. I need a tool that works, so I asked to have the account cancelled and my payment refunded. What I got in response was: "I would like to mention that our developers work standard shifts, which means they are not available during Saturday and Sunday. However, as today is Monday, we are likely to receive an update from them. We will make sure to provide you with an update as soon as possible. Your patience and cooperation are much appreciated!" So they just ignored my attempt to cancel. I wonder how long it will take to get that done.

    BE CAREFUL! I went in to purchase a new phone and told the salesperson I just wanted a basic…read morephone. I was told there was a $1200 Google phone with $1000 discount because my phone was so old (5 yrs+). ALL GOOD HERE........but, at first salesperson said Bill would go up $15/mo., then said "don't worry, your wife bought new phone recently, so you are OK". He did the install/switch of data between phones ($50).....fine with that! Then he said he needed to put "Liquid glass) on screen to protect it (NO MENTION I was being charged $60) and was OPTIONAL! Amazon has wipes for $23. Then the case ($30).......my wife had several.........same with CORD. Get home and wife is furious.......our Bill went up $50/mo!!!!!!! She called and got a great representative who got it backed to where it was. Part of the $50 was a $15/mo charge guy said would NOT BE A PROBLEM. Overall, it was probably still a decent deal, but I HATE be conned/lied/misled to! About $100 worth of charges I did not need and was NEVER told were optional. As My wife said "they saw a big sucker come in" (LOL)! Yeah, I am not technologically savy! ASK what you will be charged for VS. what really OPTIONAL and you can buy usually for 1/2 price on Amazon!!!!!!!!!

I've always been a PC user and recently decided to join this century and purchased a MacBook Air (which I LOOOOOVE, incidentally). I had it just about three weeks before it had a major accident...a rendered unusable sort of accident that I can hardly speak of without getting mad all over again. I thought it was not salvageable. I ran to the Apple Store in tears asking for guidance, and oh how they steered me wrong. They recommended a place called Kroll Ontrak way down I66. I drove out there with my machine and left it with them for three days to "analyze it," for which they charged me $65. They called me back once it had been brought back from "the clean room," whatever that is, and told me that they had taken the liberty of beginning the downloading process. I thought that was all really considerate until they gave me the quote for this service. And I choked on it. It wasn't much really; they only wanted my mercedes and my first born child. And there was no room for negotiation. None. So I took back my computer, paid them for their so called analysis, and was on my merry way. I turned to Yelp and found MACS in Alexandria---what a stroke of luck that turned out to be! I called and spoke to Will (the owner). I told him about the fate that had befallen my beloved MacBook Air and his response was, "no problem, bring it in." He was able to salvage everything: years and years worth of files, some new software I had purchased and coincidentally lost the disks for, all my emails, bookmarks and photos! On top of all that, he was able to then file it all away properly on my new MacBook Air. There were no "clean rooms" and there weren't any sort of mysterious processes like Kroll Ontrak had described to me. The best part was that he didn't want my car or my kid, just $125. SO, so reasonable. Later that day I had logged in to my new computer and remembered a question I had meant to ask him about something else unrelated. I called and he offered to fix it for me by logging into my computer remotely using TeamViewer (my old company used to use that software so I was comfortable with this--I know how it works). Talk about customer service! It wasn't even related to the original problem, it was just a question about a functionality on my computer. He just whizzed right around on it and fixed it with no effort. He also pointed out a great mac tutorial site to me so I could learn how to use my computer more effectively. SO NICE! I will not hesitate to use Mid Atlantic Computer Solutions again in the future. They are GREAT!!!

Will responded promptly to my online inquiry and laid everything out clearly for me so that I knew what I was expecting. Best, there were no surprises at the end. This was a great transaction and exactly what I want from this type of business: straight forward and no BS.
