I met with Sam today to deal with my Android cell phone. I did not want to buy a new one but the old one was slightly damaged. He exchanged my phone to a new one, transferred all my data which took less than an hour for the visit. He was very nice answered all my questions and had a good sense of humor. Rudest cell phone store I've ever visited. After a customer service call with Verizon resulting in them saying I need a new router, I ordered a new router online for pickup at the store. I waited an hour to go pick it up, per the Verizon rep's instructions. After waiting in line for 20 minutes, the in-store rep informed me he didn't have access to equipment and I'd need to come back the next day. I had called ahead and specifically asked about the store's closing time (7 PM) and whether they had access to the ordered routers. The rep on the phone said yes to both and that it would be no problem. So I drove over and arrived at 6:05 PM to find the door locked but people inside. I waited for a moment and the rep came to the door with a heavy sigh, saying, "We're closed." I relayed my earlier call and he begrudgingly let me in the door and said it would be a while. I've had Verizon for almost my entire adult life, and while the customer service is usually a bit janky online (not rudeness but more of people not having the technical ability to answer questions), I wasn't accustomed to this negative attitude in person. Note that when I returned later in the week to drop off my old router, there was a different agent who was perfectly polite and helpful. So the two stars in this review primarily reflects the rude experience I had on the first visit. read more

Shout out to Sean who quickly troubleshot my iPhone's lack-of-charging situation. (Cleaned the port, tested the cable and block separately). He also gave me tips (not in a sales-y way) about my next phone purchase when I asked. Bought the block; phone happily charging. Will return this fall for my next phone purchase. Sam and Jake went above and beyond to assist us with getting new phones in what turned out to be a bit of a complicated job due to transferring from another carrier to Verizon. Despite lots of obstacles along the way, they persevered and even stayed until well after the shop officially closed to complete the job. We really appreciated their patience and follow through and were extremely happy with the level of service we received at this Verizon store. read more

Horrendous experience with this store and more specifically, Jake. When I purchased a new phone for my son, I was sold the offer of moving my family to Verizon from TMobile for the same price and three new phones. Even if my daughter was away in college, Jake claimed he could easily port over her phone virtually. In summary, he failed to port her phone, resulting in my daughter being away at college and not having a working phone for 48 hours - he told her to go to a local Verizon in South Carolina to address the problem. Also, although he told my wife and I that our phones were ported over, I didn't have ability to receive calls. When I spent several hours the next day with Verizon customer service, they told me our phones were never fully ported over - we were Jake's last customer of the day and clearly wanted us out of the store so he can go home and never completed the process. To close out my miserable experience, Verizon has been charging me full price for my "free" phone. I've been speaking with Jake and he told me he has submitted a claim to reconvene issue with corporate Verizon. Latest update he gave me was that the claim was rejected but "not to worry" he resubmitted to a "higher-up" level. When I reached out to Jake this week, he no longer works at Verizon and I'm still paying for my "free" phone! This nonsense has been going on since October - lies upon lies... Not sure if this will ever be addressed by the incompetent Verizon - will be looking to switch back to TMobile as soon as possible... read more

What a deceit business this place is. I purchased 2 phones last year and added the protection plan for my 15 year old daughter. The phone broke and they tell me they never added the insurance so I am stuck paying the balance off to get a new phone. Store owner you should be ashamed for your employees deceiving customers. read more

Disappointed in this store. They seemed nice but they are slippery. I upgraded my iPhones and they put insurance on everything I had even after I asked them not to. Upon returning to pick up my wife's phone I asked them to not put insurance on her phone and I called up yesterday and all 4 devices still have insurance. They must get a bonus from Verizon for this so WATCH OUT! Also I purchased a watch and an iPad thanks to discounts they informed me off (still waiting for them to appear on my but guessing they will). Apple Watch is $10 a month extra and they informed me that iPad would have a similar charge, which I recently learned is $20 (I should have verified this but they had lead me to the conclusion that this cost would be $10) this felt like an intentional Omission of detail. Another omission of detail is that with unlimited plans you have to pay for hotspot. The reason I upgraded the plan was to have hotspot at my disposal with no worries about data. I learned yesterday that I had no hotspot until I paid for a hotspot plan. SLIPPERY!!!! read more

I experienced a frustrating situation regarding the exchange of a phone. I believed I had done everything right and that a glitch in the system was at fault in preventing this trade. Out of no where all incoming calls showed up as RESTRICTED??? And my voicemail wasn't working. Went directly to Arlington store and within 10 mins, Lion Prosper had my phone working as it should. Lion is a very pleasant young man. He was the only person on duty at the time and didn't seem at all flustered w/3 people needing his attention. THANK YOU LION!! read more

Went in for an upgrade and there was only one employee working. The gentleman working was very unprofessional and frankly no help at all. Clearly didn't want to be there working and definitely had zero interest in us at customers. Refused to help us and estimated over an hour wait when he was sitting with only one customer. We went into the wireless zone in Arlington this afternoon after it being recommended to us by online Verizon support to switch out the 5g SIM card. We were having trouble activating our new 12pro max that was bought through Apple. The bald man with red facial hair in the store was extremely rude and condescending not only telling us that Verizon gave us the wrong information to set up the phone but if we had bought the phone through him, he would help us with the SIM card. I have always lived in Arlington and believe in supporting local business but not only will I NOT be using Wireless Zone to upgrade our other phones, I would highly discourage others from trusting their customer service! read more

I have had several positive interactions in the past few years here but in the last year, everything has gone downhill. I purchased a refurbished phone this fall that was damaged and trying to get another refurbished, or even to apply my costs to a new phone, took months. I kept getting the run-around. Finally, Jeff, the Asst. Manager, got me a new SE, upgraded my data with autopay (for free), and found a $300 credit toward my new phone. THE PROBLEM is that NONE of this was actually done... my new bill had payments for the phone (the credit was not applied), added expensive insurance (which I did not agree to or hear anything about), and other fees on the bill. It was 5 times what it should have been. I'm left feeling extremely frustrated and mad. BEWARE. Check your bills after you leave this place. Totally unprofessional and dishonest. After being given the run around by both the Verizon customer support number and a location in Chelmsford, I came here with pretty low expectations and was blown away by how efficient and kind Sam was. He got the work done with no trouble and even helped us resolve an issue that had been going on for 3 years, in which Verizon had refused to terminate some tablets on the account.
