    This morning, I went to pick up a TV after receiving a notification that it was ready for pickup…read more When I arrived at the store, I gave the associate my customer ID number, and she assured me she would retrieve my order. Unfortunately, the TV couldn't be located, and I ended up waiting... and waiting. After 25 minutes, I was still standing there with no update on an item that was supposedly ready. I'm a patient person, but at that point, I felt it was more than reasonable to ask for a manager. I spoke with Gracie, and while I made it clear that it wasn't the cashier's fault, something clearly went wrong behind the scenes for a "ready for pickup" order to cause such a delay. I'm not sure what the holdup was, but I found the situation unprofessional and disappointing. Customer service is what keeps a business running, and when it's lacking, it leaves a lasting impression. At this point, I'm uncertain if I'll shop at this Best Buy location again. Just sharing my honest experience -- best of luck to anyone else planning to pick up from here.

Got $222.89 back, owed $4,591.64 via "mailed checks" - Best Buy Policy: 10 business days for checks - TODAY: 108+ days later - NO CHECKS, NO MONEY - 1,000% OVER their own policy THE RUNAROUND: - 6+ customer service contacts - scripted responses, zero help - 10/31/25 8:28 PM: Store manager promised email "in 2 days" - 10 days later: NO EMAIL, no resolution - Can't get: check numbers, amounts, dates, tracking, or ANY accountability DISABILITY DISCRIMINATION (ADA VIOLATION): I'm wheelchair-bound. Best Buy agents: - Refused remote assistance - Told me to "send a friend or family member" instead - Made me travel to store repeatedly despite mobility limitations THE IMPACT: - Late on rent (missing $4,591.64) - Business shut down (can't afford phone) - Delayed medical care - 108+ days of financial hardship WHAT BEST BUY VIOLATED: Their own 10-day refund policy Federal consumer protection laws ADA disability requirements Made false promises (manager's email never sent) This isn't customer service failure - it's theft by delay.     Staff for a bunch of kids. They'd rather do nothing for a paycheck. You as a customer are bothering…read morethem or inconveniencing them. To pay your bill online to save from extra fees doesn't work. You asked him to help you they literally laugh in your face. And go yeah we know. No they do not waive the extra fee for paying it in store. They don't tell you all the information you get a Wi-Fi mobile pack it's not secure. Basically they just sell you things that you don't that's not what you're looking for. The bill goes up with no notification. Or explanation to why the bill changed. You call customer service they're a little bit better. You let them know about the app issue they go oh we'll look into it but nothing changes. So minimal coverage unlimited talk and text and whatnot $145. That's pretty high if you ask me. Would I recommend them no. Port Chester location. It's extremely frustrating. They fixed the issue with the app once next month you have to do it again next month you have to do it again just to pay your bill. Not worth the aggravation in the frustration it causes. I don't recommend AT&T either in Harrison New York. They basically say one thing and do another and then blame you as the customer. I wish we had old service like we used to landlines and an actual phone company. Classic is always better. New technology new advances and improvements isn't always better. Consider yourself warned if you go here for cell phone service or any other service. It's a joke not a business. Very dissatisfied. And if you have learning challenges or for technology challenges. Forget about asking for help. Your phone goes wacky and things start changing on it that you didn't make the phone do you go in there to ask them to help you. And they don't. So your phone's all messed up it's almost like they want to convince you to buy yet another phone. Instead of resolving the issue. Then the phone would be fine. It's a scam. Very few people you can trust in the world of cell phone companies. Don't be fooled.
