I'm actually pretty pissed! I got my bill today $156 for one line! (Includes $34 for the iPhone payment plan) that's not my concern! It's the cost of the data plan!!!! I came in here late Oct! (Can't remember my sales rep name) but when I signed up he stated my bill would be around $109 a month and mentioned that the first bill is usually a little higher because of the activation fee! Yes, nov-dec was higher $133. So I paid and didn't complain! Well guess what, did some research and come to find out he quoted me pricing with the smallest amount of G's!!! (We spoke about 12G's and he stated it would be around $109!!!!! I called customer service and recommendation is to go back to the store I purchased from. I'm a 100% sure that a store manager won't be able to do anything because I'm already pass my 30 day exchange and in a contract! I'm on vacation right now, but when I get back I will be in this store to speak to the store manager and get the sales rep name and post the $hit out of my shady experience! I will post everywhere possible so this does not happen to anyone again! What pisses me off the most, we went through pricing together, so wtf happened between that day and today!! From $109 to $156!!!!! It's called a shady salesman!!! Verizon has a bad rep in my book now and with that store that was busted for stealing socials sec! Absolute worst customer service I have ever received. DAVID GOMEZ convinced me that it was mandatory to purchase one hundred dollars worth of accessories in order to purchase the iPhone 6. After doing so and then calling Verizon customer service line, they told me that this was not the case. Not only did he take advantage of me, but he was completely condescending. For every single question I had, he would laugh and shake his head as if it were a dumb question and as if he were annoyed that I was wasting his time. Horrible customer service . Tried to "help" me by giving me a $10 discount on an early termination fee that I was slime-balled into purchasing . Every single device they try to add on to your bill is complete nonsense and a waste of money . These employees will try to make it seem as if you need these things in your life . Robert Torres is the king of a smooth talking salesman, watch out for that ass hole and don't take any of his bullshit . His manager Patty is also completely incompetent and does nothing for her customers . Verizon is a terrible company that only cares about smooth talking you into every two year contract possible ... I been a Verizon customer for over 20 years and love everything about Verizon until I had to return an item to the Verizon store in Brea. The associate gave me a hard time and poor attitude about returning the item. Kept asking me questions. Verizon needs to train their associates to keep quiet and except the return with a smile. I do not recommend anyone to get upgrade from this location or to ask question. They have a very rude staff and horrible customer service. I just bought an iPhone 7 from them and specifically gave them the address it needs to be sent to and they messed that up and sent it somewhere else and now they say they can't do anything about it. Walked in to change my plan and possibly get a new phone. We were given David to work with us. After speaking to him for less than 5 minutes I felt like we had been transported to a used car dealer. I wanted to save money on my plan but this rep wouldn't give me any concrete information. He kept changing the price and it looked like he was pulling the prices out of thin air. He also kept trying to sell me a tablet I didn't need or want. He was informed of this several times but kept insisting my best price would be if I bought the tablet. I had been in the store earlier in the week and they quoted me a service price that was over $70 dollars less that David. When we walked out I was ready to switch to a different carrier. I came today because my car charger was no longer charging my phone, and it was well within the 1 year warranty. If I was out of warranty, I had no issue paying for a new one. I specifically buy them from the verizon store for this reason. I come in and check in with DORA, who proceeds to give me an attitude saying that the chords damaged. The "damage" was a manufacturing defect where the tubing came loose. I explained to her I noticed the exposure intiailly and it didn't effect the charge, so there wasn't a need to bring it in. She proceeded to walk away from me and mumbled back at me "well, you should have brought it back then, not now." She went to ask her manager if they'd replace it. Normally stuff like this doesn't bother me, but I even asked the associate the register if her comment was rude. He agreed, apologized and said he's certain they'll replace it. DORA comes back with a new charger and tells me she's replacing it this time, as an exception. Exception to what? The thing is under warranty! Like I said, if it was a legitimate issue, I'm buying a new one. Why the attitude? I didn't make it an issue, so why did you take it upon yourself to create one? I was shopping in the mall yesterday with my daughter (8 yrs) and ate at California Pizza Kitchen first which connects to the mall from upstairs by Macys. I had forgotten at the time where California Pizza kitchen connects to the mall. So I asked the girl (Cynthia) at Verizon where California Pizza Kitchen connects inside. She rudely tells me I have to go outside. I nicely said no we ate there earlier I know we were inside the mall. Again in a very rude tone shes said you have to go outside Its outside the mall!! Not willing to deal with her nasty attitude I start to walk away she yells in a sarcastic tone "have a nice day"..... Do you think I will after being treated this way?? Just received my bill for the new iPhone upgrade I received, total bait and switch store. I should have read these reviews prior to walking in. I heard the rumors about Verizon, but thinking I had everything mapped out, every question written down, discussed in detail the out come of my bill after this transaction, I felt good leaving there...she gave me a fair price for what I purchased. Until I get the bill with all the additional fees she forgot to disclose and charged full price for the phone. Started a 360 investigation with Customer Service over the phone. When Customer Service called the store to speak with the rep the rep said she told me a military discount would offset some of the fees...I am not in the military! Pretty sure I would not have thought that a good option for my case. I thought I was a good salesperson, but Lynn certainly sold me a big bag of BS and then just lied to her own internal CS person as well. Making a living lying and being unethical will only get you to the next cell company, you already told me AT&T wasn't a fit for you as your previous employer. read more

It is because of this store that I've disconnected my verizon service after being a customer for over 6 years. The people working in this store are rude and mean. Don't know what kinda training they get. I went to upgrade my phone ( 2 year upgrade ) and the girl I talked to was rude beyond belief. This has to be one of the worst stores to get help with your phone. I went in to take advantage of the New Every 2 Year deal and the sales guy (Jesus) asked me what phone I had thought about getting. When I told him an I-Phone or a Droid, he pointed to their location and told me to come find him when I was ready. 5 stars just because i received amazing customer service. walked in on a wednesday evening. immediately assisted by Hugo. he was very friendly and helpful. came in to close an existing account and add a line to my account. he was able to do that. i also had an issue regarding renewing my monthly discount due to EDD. he informed me that i can use my boyfriend's discount for now and then switch it once i go back to work. also! he calculated our monthly payments and made sure all questions were asked prior to us leaving. thank you Hugo! read more

Walked into the store needing help with an issue with my Ipad with Verizon data. It seems the SIM card will be burned each time to stop your data plan. I had called the customer service line regarding the issue and was told to go to any Verizon store, they will swap the SIM card free of charge. Once I got into the store they spent more time arguing with me about how they cant just put in a new SIM card without assigning it to a number. To do that I would need to sign up on a contract plan. I tried to explain that the Ipad data is a Pre-Paid plan not a contract plan. They continued to refuse to issue the SIM. After about 30 minute of arguing with them and refusing to go on a contract plan with a $35 activation fee I walked out compleatly frustrated. When I go home I called cutomer service again and they were shocked that the store did not know anything about an issue that has existed with ipads for 8 months. I usually don't give a Verizon Wireless store such a great review, but the Brea location was an exception because of the manager Dion Garcia. I was completely impressed with his professionalism, patience, and understanding while my mom and I were at the store for help. I would completely recommend Dion Garcia, who works weekdays. He really excelled at customer service and deserves to be a manager. Here are some details about the visit: My mom and dad recently bought I-Phones and switched to Verizon Wireless from Sprint. They were completely overwhelmed with the new technology and had a lot of problems with the phones. My dad's phone was a "lemon" and had to be replaced. My mom accidentally killed her phone and needed a replacement. She had horrible service with the insurance company Asurian who handles insurance claims for Verizon. We went to my local Verizon store and happened to be helped by Dion Garcia. He was able to switch out my mom's phone with a more user friendly phone that she was comfortable with instead of the I-Phone, which my brother picked out for her hoping she would learn to use it. He also replaced my dad's phone with a new I-Phone, which is what he wanted. Dion took his time with my mom and dad explaining what the process was and why. He had tremendous patience with my frustrated mom and helped alleviate some of the anxiety she was feeling by being extra nice and patient with her. As he was helping us, he was also doing his other duties as a manager, which was impressive. Like I said, he helped us with our problems and fixed our problems with patience, understanding, and professionalism. I recommend anyone and everyone to ask for Dion. Hopefully you have a great experience like we did. read more

I would recommend David Carreon when looking for a retail sales representative. He was courteous, and answered each question I asked (and I had quite a few). I did not feel pressured into buying anything, and I left feeling satisfied with the purchase I did make. He's helped me a few times in the past and I recently went to him the past weekend while I was looking to exchange my iPhone 6 for an iPhone 7. He spent nearly 3 hours with us! He was so patient and extremely helpful with giving us all of our options, explaining how the exchanges work and making sure we had all of our questions answered. I bought a screen protector for my iPhone over 2 weeks ago and the sales specialist that helped me did not email me the receipt, but according to their records they show that I did receive it. I wanted to return it and get a refund, but she basically said well you can either choose something else or keep what you already have....excuse me????? If I could give this store ZERO STARS I would! Actually the Zero stars would be the greeter/person who checks you in as you come in. We went in just now and as soon as we walk in JOSE asks "number". No "Hi" or "Welcome to Verizon" just a cold, robotic question with no smile "number". Gave him the number and his robotic response was "45 minutes". Husband tried to ask a general question but his response was that we had to wait 45 minutes to talk to someone. Okay fine. Asked him if they had any phone cases for a particular model and all he could do was point to a general area. He could of at least walked us over to the section to point out the products to us. After we tried locating the items ourselves, went back to Jose and asked if they had more colors - he said we had to wait 45 minutes to talk to someone. The whole conversation we had with Jose was cold and unwelcoming. No eye contact - busy playing with his phone. Very bad customer service - actually customer service skills were non existent. We visited the Verizon Brea Mall Kiosk today and received top notch customer service thanks to Frankie & Omar. Earlier that day we visited the La Habra store which was overcrowded and after waiting a long time the rude customer service representative basically told me I couldn't get upgrades right now. The Brea Boys delivered and I walked out with 2 new Samsung Galaxy 5s!!! I normally use the La Habra store but have found it difficult to get good customer service after a few visits there, so this will definitely be my go to place for Verizon! :) read more

I went to the store to look for a single line plan from Verizon. Max was assigned to help me out with answering questions and then helping me to set up my account. He was very patient and sure knew what he was doing. He was able to answer a lot of my questions and gave me a good deal. The purpose of this review is to alert future customers from experiencing the terrible service my family and I experienced last Sunday. We went into this store to upgrade our cell phones. The experience was extremely disappointing. We were lied to and completely misled by the sales associate and his manager Jeff. We were very clear on what we wanted when we went in. It was a no brainer! However, we had been to the Apple store a couple of weeks before and knew what we should ask for, including the waiver of upgrade fees and activation on our new ipad. After getting Jeff's authorization to waive these fees we paid almost $500.00 for the new phones and ipad including all the retail taxes etc... I signed the authorization so the money could be taken from our account. I asked for a receipt and was told that it would be emailed to me. I said ok and left. To my surprise, when reviewing the bills, NONE of the promised waived upgrade and activation fees were taken off. I was furious and called Verizon Customer Service and explained my problem. The associate looked up my receipts and concurred that the fees had not been waived. He asked me who helped me and sent him an email to contact me to correct the problem. He also found "optional" fees he didn't understand, nor seen before. He apologized profusely for the inconvenience and also added "we get a lot of complaints from this store often He told me I would get a call back from the manager of that store by the end of the week to correct the problem. I"m still waiting for a call back! We have been with Verizon when it was Airtouch. So our loyalty means nothing.. If you buy Apple products, go to the Apple Store, not to a retail Verizon store where commissions come before customer service. I was very disappointed with the overall experience at this Verizon store. For starters, I made an appointment for 11:30am and when I arrived for my appointment, they had me scheduled for 6:30pm. The sales representative that greeted me seemed to have a bit of an attitude. It may have been because of my smart phone inexperience, but she was not very willing to help me with my questions. I've worked in retail for about 7 years, and NEVER have I EVER experienced the HORRENDOUS & embarrassing customer service that this particular Verizon store had "offered" my mom and I. We went to ask question right when they opened, and still had to wait to be helped. Meanwhile other customers that walked in AFTER us were being helped right away. After we asked when we were going to be helped, all the "greeter" gave us were excuses in stutter. The "Store Manager" handed us over to an associate who could help us...and proceeds to say: "THERE'S ONLY A WINDOW OF 30 MINUTES TO HELP YOU." WTF?!?! Who says THAT to a customer who's been with the company for years? Oh, that's right...Verizon does. Good luck coming here! Or better yet, DON'T!! read more

I had to replace a phone that got wet, expensive but ok. I dried out and charged my old phone and took it back to store for help recovering pictures. Dora was the in-store rep. I new removing the battery would kill the phone after a couple of days getting it back on line. I started to explain that and the next thing knew battery was out and phone dead. Dora did not listen to my explanation, and just judged the phone dead. It was on when I put it in her hand. Needless to say I walked out with a dead phone that was on when I went in. Dora never greeted me at all but talked down to me in a very condescending way. She never listened to me or my concerns and had her solution was pre determined. The cell industry is very competitive and after being loyal for over fifteen years with multiple phones I'm seriously questioning my continued patronage.
