Strange the reviews for this location aren't so good...yesterday was about the 4th time my husband and I have been to this location and for the 4th time had a great experience. I made an online appointment and once we arrived we were assisted right away by Jonathon. He was very helpful, quick, explained everything easily, got us a better plan without us even inquiring about our plan and even threw in a free Bluetooth speaker! Still really like this Verizon. I have to say that I agree with what everyone of you has said. This was the breaking point in our decision to leave Verizon for good. We had been loyal customers since the days of LA Cellular. I could not believe the customer service we received. It was awful and not only is it this store its The La Habra one as well. All they want to do is upgrade you or get you into a new contract.........Verizon employees work on commission.....duh. Anyhow, we paid $1000 to disconnect all our lines and decided to head over to T-Mobile. We couldnt be happier. Francisco was amazing! Very honest and helpful! He wanted the best for his customer (us) and provided the best service. I would ask for him if him if you're having any problems with Verizon over the phone. I had a problem that dragged on for 3 weeks with Verizon wireless! Went to Francisco at the brea mall and it was fixed in 30 minutes! I am so thankful for ASHANTE R. for being the most patient, helpful, and kind employee at this branch by helping me through my upgrade purchases. This was the second Verizon store I had visited today (after being rudely dismissed at another location) desperate for assistance after running into so many dead ends on the app and over the phone. Although I did not have an appointment scheduled, Ashante took the time to hear out my frustrations and took it upon himself to personally trouble shoot and guide me through the verizon app in making my purchases. It took him a couple tricks himself until he got through but he never once gave up and made sure everything was correctly inputted. I'm writing about the store in Brea and the one in orange mall, and Verizon customer service call in line. Without a doubt, the worst service, rudest workers and flat out liars I've ever had the displeasure of working with. These twenty somethings see a person with gray hair walk in and they immediately treat you with distain. Smug, smarmy attitudes. I was also assured by the person on the phone that I could get a go 55 unlimited plan and to go to the store in orange. I was immediately dismissed by two rude employees telling me I couldn't get that. I called Verizon back and a different operator told me I in fact could not get that plan. So the first operator lied. I could go on about the rude comments but suffice to say Verizon and their workers are scum. read more

Horrible! These guys at Verizon are a bunch of scam artist. (first time in, Vida Rahmanian was the salesperson) They sell you on phones, bundle packs, etc. and promise you credit your next bill. (instead of instant discount). They say they can't put it in writing because corporate won't allow it but tells me, don't worry, I put a note in the system and please, take my card. You have my word. Of course, my first bill arrives and there's no credit. I go into the store and tell them what happen. The lady tells me (rude of course) that it will show up on the next bill. She see's no memo in their system that the first salesperson supposedly put but then I told them they owe me a $175 credit, they didn't have anything say about that. I might as well told them they owed me $500.00 Then she assured me this time they will definitely put a memo in the system. I get furious and get the manager to help me. Dion Garcia (store manager) comes. Tells me the exact same thing. Put in a memo in the system and that I'll see the credit on the next bill. I asked for it in writing and of course he says he can't but to take his card. He promised to email me a confirmation the very next day. It's been a week and no word. I call the number on his card many times and he never answers or returns my call. Looks like I have to go see him! read more

I'm a long time Verizon customer and have never had such a horrible experience at this store like today. Walked into the store and was greeted by a salesperson. I explained my situation and he put my name on the list for the next representative. Waited for 20 minutes for a rep. Waited another 10 minutes while she tinker w/ my phone and come back to tell me there's nothing she could do and could not credit me. Ask for the manager and it turn out to be the same salesperson that greeted me when I walked in. His name is Dion Garcia. He was rude, unhelpful and condescending. Trying to get answer from him was like pulling my own teeth. He could have told me up front when I walked in that there was nothing he could do instead of just wasting my time waiting on the tech rep. Very unprofessional. read more

Horrible. I needed customer service, so they diald customer service, then we waited 20 minutes for a rep to pick up. Apparently the verizon employees at a verizon store have to call the same number as a customer would. I learned never pay your bill early if you have pre-paid acct. I had to pay $60.00 twice in 8 days. No one in customer service could help because I have a pre-paid acct. I went with T Mobile. Much better plan and service. read more

I have been coming to this store for about ten years, ever since I got my first cell phone in high school. I don't come in very often; I don't buy a new phone until the one I'm using explodes and dies and I don't ever really have any problems that can't be solved just by calling tech support. But every time I do come in, the employees are really nice and helpful. I've seen this store go through so many changes but the customer service is always great! ps: I came in today to buy a new charger for my iPhone; I don't remember the last time I actually bought a charger that wasn't from a gas station or grocery store so I was a little out of the loop. Carmen greeted me with a smile and showed me what new options they had; I found one I really liked and I was able to get a discount on it which honestly made my day. She was so sweet and helpful! Went to the Brea store today to transfer my phones to a new business account. Worked with a guy named Steve, who could not have been more rude & not helpful at all. I asked for an unlimited business plan & when I got home to review my changes online, that is not what I had signed up for. I asked him to make my business address & the billing address different & he said he would but didn't. What a waste of my time working with him. I had to get on the phone with Verizon later that day to try & fix everything he had screwed up. This review is for Sergio and Sergio only. We have never had a bad experience coming in here. In fact, we live about 20 minutes away with a verizon down the street and have always drove to this location if we have ever had problems because of the excellent service. Well, today I went in with my sister who has been having issues with her phone. Sergio approached us and told us that he was going to take a look at her phone in the back, but that her warranty was automatically voided because her screen was cracked. Now, Im not sure how true this is, but last time I checked when I had Verizon, you have a warranty to cover things like a cracked screens. He blamed it all on her cracked screen which happened over a year ago, so that was the first thing that bothered us. Second of all, we told him that she was waiting for the new iPhone 8 to come out and he told us that it isnt coming out until next year in September as in September of 2018 and that the iPhone 7s is the next phone coming out. Again, very wrong. He kept feeding us incorrect info and was extremely pushy which made me angry and uncomfortable. We ended up leaving with a broken phone because the service from Sergio was useless and he just left us in the middle of the store. Never going back here read more

So slow, the wait here is always 30+ minutes and there are exactly 2 seats! Also very unhelpful. My phone broke and I needed a new one. The signage on the phones stated the price but no features. I asked the sales person and she told me what phones were returned the least and that she heard the iPhone was good. Tons of help, that one... He was so awesome and helped us out got me a great deal to new phones and other promos that went with the deal that I got. Oh my god. Is this really a Verizon direct store? I have never been this mad at a store for my entire life. Why is this store still open? How can Verizon tolerate this kind of customer service? Few days ago, I found out that my plan was screwed. I was charged for more than what I was promised, after a data plan upgrade was done at this store. When I went in there and ask the rep to correct it, he did not bother to dig into the issues and found out what had really happened. He told me there was nothing he could do. It was on the contract I signed. I told the rep that I wanted to file a formal complaint. He said you could do that, but there was still nothing he could do. I asked for the manager, he said he could call the manager, but there is nothing that the manager could do, too. (I guess he was representing himself, his manager, and everybody at Verizon Wireless) I told him I could sue them. Finally, the man next to him (which I assume might be the manager, which had been kept quiet all this time) told him to remain silent and told me to have a nice day. I got back to the office. Called Verizon Wireless directly. Took 30 minutes. But they resolved my issue. If you want to go visit this store, good luck. read more

Earlier today I had been into the new Verizon store on Rose in Placentia and they were of no help to me. I had only gone there because they are closer to my home. I have always shopped at this Brea location and today was reminded why. First, based on my earlier experience today, Verizon almost lost me as a customer (and I have been with them since before they were Verizon and were Air Touch Cellular in 1995!). But rather than deal with trying to find a new carrier, I decided to give Verizon one more shot. As soon as I walked in to the Brea store, Melody, the associate, greeted me and immediately helped me with my issue. And although she wasn't able to handle everything there in the store, she graciously took the time to get me the information from Verizon and Zagg that I needed to file my claim. Not only that, even after I had walked out of the store, she ran out to my car to explain one more thing to me! That is the customer service that ALL Verizon employees should offer. Melody should be employee of the month in my book. Never once did she try to upsell me or get me to look into a new phone. She was so professional. And she saved me from leaving Verizon. I learned my lesson - this store is the one to come to and not the store in Placentia. It may be a bit more of a drive, but it was worth it. Thank you Melody! read more

In a nutshell, the service caused me to having nothing but problems with my bill since that time. Have been into the store 3 times to get it rectified to no avail. Recently called Verizon directly (wherever they are) regarding my billing problems. Basically, it was sorry, you have to pay the latest bill. Went into this location because it's next to Trader Joe's where I normally shop. I wanted to know if any credit would be given for my current phone if I bought a new one. I received a text message stating it would be approximately a 5 minute wait since there was only one person in front of me. No prob. Right? Wrong! I waited over 5 minutes and left when 5 of the reps were talking amongst each other including the manager who checked me in. Even as I walked out the door, no one tried to stop and help me. Seriously, the absolute worst customer service I have experienced at any phone carrier. I went in to cancel one of the 5 phone lines on my account, and trade in my iPhone 6 Plus & buy a jet pack. Natasha was the associate who helped me. Super nice girl but doesn't have a clue what she's doing. She ran my card 2 when paying off the balance on my account in order to apply the credit from my phone to the account. First payment, she reversed. Second payment, she applied to another account and I literally just had a customer service rep find the payment. Thank God I kept the receipt! Anywho- her manager, the supposed "solutions manager", Timothy, did Z E R O to help as well. He promised to help find the payment I made but I needed to contact customer service so that it didn't look like he was doing "favors" when reversing the payment. Then when I called him, like he asked me to do after speaking to customer service, he asked me to call ANOTHER manager! Hey man, I just wanted the money I paid to be applied to my account! On top of that, the money from the trade in wasn't going to be applied to my account right away, but rather next month! WTH! This whole place was just a WASTE OF TIME! The manager & Natasha have ZERO customer service. They promise you the world & then screw up & do NOTHING TO HELP! If you can avoid coming to this store, please do and save yourself the headache!
