Tovio at Verizon was SO helpful! My man and I went into the Lone Tree location, because we were due for an upgrade. We switched over to iPhones from our existing androids. The set up was much longer because of the two opposite platforms. Tovio had to close the store for the night, so he secured our phones in the safe while the data transfers were still in progress. He came back to the store the next morning on his day off, and finalized our transaction. Awesome experience! read more

Couple of weeks ago my family and I (Filipino race) walked into the store and didn't get any kind of greetings. Female worker with long blonde hair with glasses along with a young man both caucasian didn't even acknowledge us walking in and just looked at us as if we didn't belong there. Finally a Hispanic worker approached us. Soon after we walked in an elderly Caucasian male walked in and all you hear is " hi, welcome in how can we help you today?" In a jolly voice. I was having problems transferring information from one phone to a replacement phone that I had received. I walked in almost closing time and Michael was the solution specialist that helped me. One thing I notice about him as soon as I walked in he greeted me with eye contact and approached me right away and I like that. He took the time to help me even though it was close to closing time and stayed a few minutes after to make sure all my information had transferred properly and my phone number was connected. I went in to this Verizon store today to take a phone number off of my line and for my son to open up his own account with a new phone. When I told this to the associate, she told me I had to call Verizon customer service to get this done, really??? After asking this question several ways and explaining I have always been able to take care of these type of issues at the store, I was repeatedly told the same answer, nope, cant help you, call in to customer service. After the sale girl tripling down on her answer to not help me out, I drove back home to spend another hour plus to try and take care of this. I informed the call in Verizon customer service of the situation I encountered at the Brentwood Verizon store and they informed me there was no reason this could not have been handled in store! Get your employees trained to know what they are doing as this is not the only complaint of this type here. After reviewing the entire decision process including all of the "paperwork" required, we concluded that Kelvin Burdeau, a solutions specialist, at the Brentwood store was the key factor that convinced us to make the change. We looked to him to guide us thru the process of making the switch. Not just help with the sim cards, but also helping with all of the other steps we needed to take, e.g. contacting AT&T to transfer our numbers, setting up the auto pay etc. He has the right combination of patience and knowledge. I phoned Customer Service (CS) on a Tuesday, due to my 8 month old GOOGLE PIXEL PHONE dying. It took all day, via an online chat, to get the phone covered under warranty; even though it was LESS then one year old. I asked for the fastest way to get a new phone, for which CS advised to go into the store and they could issue me a new phone based upon the notes in my account. I went the following day (WEDS) to Verizon (Antioch). Where I was told they had to order a phone and it would be shipped within TWO DAYS. I asked why that was the case, when CS told me I could come to an authorized provider and be given a new phone that day. Francisco stated he didn't know why I was told that; apparently CS and the stores have different policies, even though they are all VERIZON. Today is Sunday, 4 DAYS after my 2 DAY order was placed, STILL NO PHONE. Not only do they sell unreliable products, make it incredibly difficult to honor their warranty, but their customer service is misleading and the stores simply don't care. Everything was organized well and everyone at this site is always friendly and helpful from the moment you walk in. The site moved recently and the location is better and more easily visible than the previous site. Elena went over smart phone options to help me make my purchase decision (I picked the Samsung s7 with the help of Francisco (also very helpful) the week prior and it just wasn't my cup of tea). They were excellent in helping me make a cost effective decision for the phone and accessories. Due to my unlimited data I had to pay retail for my phone but it's still the best option for me and my significant data use. Verizon is more costly than other providers but I can't even see myself going to another provider despite recommendations. The service quality is just too good. I was tricked into selling Verizon my phone at this store (only got a mere $300 for an expensive Android), and now they won't give it back! Got the same woman who checked me out originally and she blamed me for not getting the correct phone because she "would have checked with me" even though she didn't. I was impressed with the lengths Verizon store and the team have got to ensure safe and sanitary conditions during COVID. All staff were wearing masks and hand sanitizer stations were available. Plexi glass shields were in place at all the counters and there was more than enough space to socially distance. Kelvin and Caitlin went above and beyond helping me with my account as multiple levels of authority was required to resolve my issues. Professional and friendly customer service. I was a pleasantly surprise as more often than not it's a headache equivalent to going to the DMV but this store has got it's ish together. Three visits to Verizon on Lone Tree with my elderly Aunt this week. She needed to get WiFi and we were helped by Tyler who was super patient with her and explained very well how the Verizon Internet Gateway box worked and calmed her fears about moving to Wifi from DSL. He gave us a printed quote and after discussing it with her daughter, we went back to pick it up and give it a try. Ryan assisted and was also kind, patient and took the time she needed. After setting it up at home, initially it looked like it was not going to work as it took awhile to connect. We could not troubleshoot because her ancient (new to her) iPhone is too old for MyVerizon app. We returned to the store and were assisted by the delightful Viridiana to look into getting a new iPhone. She was ever so patient and ended up recommending that my Aunt wait to check out Black Friday deals before she makes a final decision. [Note: while we waited to be assisted, we noticed other reps were also handling sometimes difficult situations with kindness and patience. I was impressed!] read more

I went into the Verizon in Brentwood today to look at upgrading my phone. They put me on a list and said it was about a 30 minute wait. There were 3 people ahead of me. I waited 30 minutes and I saw that 2 people had been helped so I asked if there was 1 person ahead of me (I was supposed to get a text at that point). She said no because someone who made an appointment came in. So I had 2 people ahead of me and another 25 minute wait -- and if another person who made an appointment came in, I would be pushed back again! She could have said upfront that appointments went to the front of the line...btw, I asked for an appointment and the first one wasn't available until Saturday at 5 pm (it is Wednesday at 1 pm when this happened). So if they are booked with appointments, how long does a walk-in have to wait! We will not use them; will order elsewhere. Final note: Their chairs are extremely uncomfortable for waiting for an hour plus! read more

Yesterday I went in and bought two new cell phones and it was a very pleasant experience. We were helped by Sekani who was knowledgeable and friendly. I didn't feel pressured at all. He answered my questions, told me the facts and let me make the decisions. We were out of there in less than a 30 minutes with our new phones. We went into this Verizon store to upgrade our phones and to purchase a Gizmo Gadget for our daughter. We had the best customer service with Cham. If you go to this store ask for him. He helped us decide between phones, storage and cases. He took time to show us how the Gizmo app works. The next day I went back into the store for something else and he remembered my kids names and asked how they both liked their Gizmos (we ended up getting one for both our daughters and not just our older one like originally planned). It's very rare these days to find excellent customer service but Cham exceeded all of our expectations.
