We went here today to buy headlights and Frank was very helpful. The guy had an immobilized boot on his leg and crutches and still came out to help us. He tried to put our headlights in even, but ours was a bit more complicated on one side. It was fine as we were headed to a mechanic anyway and just bought the part to save time, just in case the mechanic did not have the lights. They refused to replace my dying battery after it started draining after a couple days of non usage. It was within 2 year warranty and they just charged it. Faulty battery and bad customer service policy. Got a 4 year warranty battery at Costco problem solved. Walmart and Amazon will run you out of business with this type of BS! read more

I don't typically leave reviews unless the place was absolutely terrible or went above and beyond, but this place deserves a quick note of recognition for great customer service and an overall positive attitude from each person I've interacted with here. From Carmen to Dave, Gilberto and Robbie they all have a great attitude and genuinely want you to feel like they appreciate your business. A+ guys keep it up. As a former mechanic, I refuse to walk into a Kragen or AutoZone to buy anything more than a scented air freshner. If I need parts in Contra Costa, I go to: Monument Auto Parts, S & P, or Napa. If you are buying car parts, you need well trained, mature, certified parts techs to help you locate the right replacement, not some Halo-addicted-pubescent-rice-racer. Napa provides the help you need. Stay out of the Kragens, AutoZones, etc. read more

Great place for parts that is just off the Highway 4. If I'm at home, I usually go to the Brentwood location (as it is closer to home). However, if I'm on my way home from work, I just hop off the Hillcrest exit and drive to this location. One thing, this location seems like it may have a little less stock than other Kragen (now O'Reilly's) stores. However, workers are able to tell you what other store actually have in stock if you ask them. read more

Clean and organized store, as a self proclaimed neat freak, I really take notice. +1 For some odd reason this location always has the parts Im looking for that other locations don't have in. +1 Parking is great, transactions are smooth and I never get the feeling of being rushed or followed around like I do at other parts stores. Horrible customer service! I asked if they had a battery for my car and if they also can install it. The guy said yes they had the battery and no they cant install it because they were too short of employees to do it. Perfect location near Highway 4 Hillcrest exit across from the Safeway and Gas shopping center. This location is very convenient. Plenty of parking spaces. The employees are knowledgable and keep the surroundings clean. They have a variety of car supplies that they quickly find on their computers to pull it up. The employees also keep the store clean. An auto shop right next to Walgreens and the busy McDonalds. Getting my brake and replacement parts may cost a lot. The labor cost. We got the necessary parts at a very reasonable price, the store price and I got someone to replace them in minutes. I also got a bunch of car stuff for my old car that needs replacement. The friendly staff can always look up any information you need (parts) on their computer very quickly and provide valuable feedback. read more

I went into O'Reilly's to repair a part of my car and wasn't sure what I was doing. Bambi the store manager and her staff went out of thier way to come outside and look at my car to see what parts I needed. The staff was knowledgable and walked me through the store to pick out the parts. They didn't have a part I required but showed me where it was available. They were quick, effiecient, helpful and I will be returning to this O'Reilly's for any future auto purchases. read more

I went there to return some parts (two rear slave cylinders to be exact) that I had purchased for my dodge caravan, I winded up trading in the van and I didn't use the parts, when I went to return them I didn't have my receipt upon hearing that I started getting looks like I had stolen the items and just wanted to return them for the money !!WTF!! first of all those type of items are kept in the back where only employees can go! the person over the counter (Nat) had a chip on his shoulder and made a few comments that made it seem like had stolen them from somewhere, I immediately asked him if he was calling me a thief to which he said (you never know if employees are stealing) !!WTF!! it takes two people stealing to do something like that soo.. he basically called me a thief. I called the corporate office and they didn't care about what had just occurred but they did care about the fact that I had no receipt! !!WTF!! I am a father of four that works hard and integrity is high on my families list! this was BS!! O'Reilly's on Deer Valley has ZERO class and Zero customer crevice skills! I will drive the extra miles and spent the extra buck but I will never shop at that store again!! read more
